“You’re okay Julien, the doctor will be here soon,” Elsida crouched next to Julien, matting his tender curls with her hands.

“I tried to see you but she…” Julien trailed off groaning in anguish as his hands covered his head again. A thin layer of sweat coated his skin and his body trembled wildly against Elsida’s.
