Possessive Predator

Mr. Hill got home late that night, when he got in, he called out Lizzie’s name and Alexis as well but no one answered him. He checked every door wondering where they had gone to until he got to the TV room where he found his daughter and Lizzie fast asleep. It was a wonderful sight to see for Mr. Hill.

“My two worlds..” he mumbled whilst looking at them with a brief smile on his face. He walked towards them and planted soft kisses on their forehead’s. He was about to leave the TV room when he heard Lizzie’s phone ring. He walked towards her buzzing phone which laid recklessly on the floor and he picked it up to see who was calling her that late at night.

“Barth,” he read aloud. He glanced at Lizzie who was fast asleep and stared back at her phone screen for a while before taking the call. “Mr. Hill here, who are you?”

Barth was dazed by the name he heard, ‘Mr. Hill?’ He thought to himself. He became hesitant then he composed himself before asking “Is Lizzie there with you?”
