Kate POV

Sitting in my living room at the apartment, restlessness pulsed inside me. What I had seen at the mall left me in shambles. Lilian was there, beaming, laughing and having fun with April, her supposed best friend. It wasn't just seeing them together that bothered me, but the ease with which they seemed happy. It couldn't continue like this.

Finn was sitting next to me, his gaze fixed on his cell phone screen. He seemed oblivious to the turmoil unfolding inside me. “Hey, Finn,” I called, trying to get his attention. “Did you see how they are together now?”

He looked up, a slight frown on his forehead. "Who? Lilian and Jensen? What do you have? They have always been like this.”

“It’s not just that! They're traveling together, and I can't allow that to happen. This is the perfect opportunity for me to step in and end this romance once and for all.” The idea grew in my mind like a flame, and my determination only grew.

Finn watched me for a moment, as if assessing whether

Lilian POV I woke up to soft morning light filtering through the curtains of our room in Rome. The day promised to be beautiful, and the enthusiasm of the triplets, Ruby, Rory and Ryan, was palpable. Their infectious energy made me smile instantly. I turned to Jensen, who was still sleeping, his face calm and relaxed. The way he was there, calmly, only increased my admiration for him. “Good morning, Jensen,” I murmured, giving his shoulder a light touch. He opened his eyes slowly, a smile forming when he saw my face. “Good morning, Lilian. Are you ready to explore the city?” His voice was hoarse, but the excitement in his eyes was evident. "I am yes! But first, we need to wake the children up,” I replied, getting up and heading towards the children's room. As soon as I walked in, I found the triplets in a huddle of blankets, still drowsy but with little giggles escaping their lips. “Come on, wake up! We have an exciting day ahead!” “What’s the first stop, Mommy?” Ruby asked

Lilian POV The soft sound of children's laughter filled the air as Ruby and Rory played around Ryan, trying to convince him to hold the lemon ice cream they had just received. The afternoon in Rome was perfect, the sky was clear with just a few clouds, and the refreshing breeze balanced the heat of the day. April watched the children fondly, and Philip laughed at Ruby's attempts to get Ryan to try the flavor. Sadie, with her usual patience, helped Ryan hold the cup, and I noticed how he relaxed under her care. "How does she do it?", I whispered to Jensen, who was next to me, watching everything with a loving look. "Sadie has this magical ability to make everything easier for them. I don't know what we would do without her", replied Jensen, with a smile, as our eyes met for a brief moment. His blue eyes reflected the sunlight, and for a moment, I lost myself in that look, remembering how he had been my safe haven in so many moments. "Hey, baby! Take that!" April shouted at Phi

Lilian POV The night in Rome was magical, as if the city had dressed for the occasion. The golden lights of the lamps reflected on the ancient stones of the streets, and the aroma of Italian food wafted in the air, surrounded by laughter and lively conversation. Jensen and I were on our way to the famous 'Largo di Torre Argentina', a place that has always fascinated me for its history and beauty. “Have you been here before?” Jensen asked as we walked hand in hand, the warmth of his palm comforting me. "No. I always wanted to visit, but never had the opportunity. This place is incredible!” I replied, looking around. The Roman ruins and the cats that roamed freely created a unique and welcoming atmosphere. When we arrived at the square, I couldn't help but be enchanted by the sight. Ancient stone columns surrounded the area, and a small group of cats lounged in the moonlight. “Look, it looks like they make this place their home,” I commented, pointing to the felines sprawled out

Jensen POV We left Ponte Sisto hand in hand, and the night in Rome seemed to have a special glow, as if the city was conspiring to make that moment even more magical. We walked slowly through the cobblestone streets, illuminated by the soft light of old streetlights. The distant sound of music and the murmur of people around us accompanied us, but my mind was completely focused on her. Lilian looked radiant, her eyes shining with a happiness that made my heart race even faster. “There’s one more surprise for you,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady even as my nervousness grew with each step. “Trust me, I think it will be worth it.” She looked at me with a curious expression and a soft smile. “Another surprise? Jensen, you’ve already done so much today…” “It’s because tonight needs to be perfect,” I replied, lightly squeezing her hand. “For me, it’s so much more than just one night.” I guided her to a place that I prepared with great care: a quiet and almost hidden garden,

Kate POV I observed the scene in the garden, hidden among the shadows of the trees, with my eyes fixed on Jensen's figure. He was kneeling in front of Lilian, holding a small box in his hands. My entire body shook with rage, and I felt my teeth grinding involuntarily. That scene was simply unbearable. “They can’t be happy… not after everything I did to tear them apart,” I muttered with suppressed fury, the words coming through clenched teeth. Beside me, Finn watched, uneasy. He knew how much that moment meant to me. Seeing them together, as if nothing had ever happened between us… it was too much for me to bear. I turned to Finn, his gaze fixed and cold. “We have to do something,” I whispered, trying not to attract attention. My tone was somber, and he could tell I wasn't joking around. Finn raised an eyebrow hesitantly. “Kate… are you sure? I mean, it’s obvious you want revenge, but…” “You don't understand, Finn,” I snapped, cutting him off with a glare. “Jensen is mine. I

Lilian POV The music pulsed around us, each beat reverberating in my chest like the very rhythm of our story. I felt like I was on cloud nine, dancing alongside Jensen, surrounded by the glow of the spotlight and the euphoric laughter of people around us. The night was ours, and, for the first time in a long time, I could breathe a sigh of relief, without that feeling of fear that something could ruin our happiness. Jensen grabbed my hand and pulled me closer, the smile on his lips saying everything we needed to know. "I'm going to get more drinks. Stay here, I'll be right back," he whispered in my ear, his voice filled with a lightness that I hadn't seen in a while. Before walking away, he gave me a quick but intense kiss, the kind that makes you forget about the rest of the world. Watching him walk through the crowd was a reminder of how life had gotten us there. After so many ups and downs, we were back, stronger, ready to start again. And now, with the ring on my finger, I wa

Jensen POV When I returned to the couch where Lilian was, a smile on her face and two drinks in her hands, the anticipation of toasting our engagement filled me with joy. However, as I got closer, I realized that Lilian was no longer there. Her purse was lying next to the pillow, and this made me conclude that she must have gone to the bathroom. With a slight sigh of relief, I placed the drinks on the table and sat down, waiting for her to return. Minutes passed, and I continued looking around, my gaze getting lost among the people dancing and having fun. The rhythm of the music pulsed like a heart, but my mind was focused only on Lilian. "She should be back soon," I thought, trying to convince myself that everything was fine. But as time passed, the restlessness began to grow. I went to the bar again, hoping that when I returned, she would be back. But when I returned to the couch, I saw no sign of her. I looked for him once again, past the groups of friends and the dance floor, but there was no sign of Jensen. Desperation began to grow in me. It was then that I spotted Finn again, standing in the corner, looking more worried than usual. He raised his hand and waved, coming towards me with quick steps and a tense expression. “Finn! Have you seen Jensen?” I asked, trying not to show how much my heart was sinking more by the second. He hesitated, his expression changing to something bet

Months had passed since the moment Lilian and Jensen had united forever, and the mansion, already full of life and joy, now seemed to be living a new chapter of great happiness. The afternoon was calm, but the atmosphere inside the house was buzzing with anticipation. Lilian, in labor, was preparing to give birth to the couple's fourth child, and emotions were running high.Jensen, visibly nervous, paced back and forth. His feet tapped the floor with a constant rhythm, a reflection of the whirlwind of thoughts that wouldn't settle. He paused briefly, looking at the door of the room where his wife was being assisted by the nurses. His mind couldn't find peace, thoughts of what might happen spread, even though he knew Lilian was in good hands."You need to calm down," said Philip, the couple's friend, who stood by Jensen's side. He knew how anxious Jensen could be, and his calm had always been a pillar of support. "She's strong. And you'll be an incredible father, no matter what happens

Lilian POVIt was an ordinary day. The sun came through the windows of the house, illuminating the room with a golden light. Children were playing in the yard, their laughter filling the air. I was in the kitchen, tidying up some things, while Jensen seemed mysteriously busy somewhere in the house. "You're very quiet today, Jensen. What are you up to?" I asked, half joking, while washing some fruit. "Me? No big deal." He replied, appearing in the doorway with a mischievous smile. "You're terrible at keeping secrets." I laughed, drying my hands. He just shrugged. "Trust me. Just come with me." "Now?" I asked, surprised. "Now." He took my hand and led me to the conservatory. When we entered, I noticed the atmosphere was different. Flowers were scattered across the floor, forming a path to a small table where there was a velvet box. My heart started to race. "Jensen..." I started, but he interrupted me with a tender look. Sadie POVI woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, but to be honest, I had literally barely slept. I spent the night tossing and turning, thinking about Micah. How was he? Was he alone? Had he eaten anything? I need to see you.I looked at the clock. It was still six in the morning, but I couldn't stay in bed. With a heavy sigh, I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom. I washed my face, trying to shake off the tiredness that seemed to be clinging to me, and got dressed quickly. Nothing too elaborate: jeans, a t-shirt, and a sweater. In the kitchen, I made some toast and a cup of coffee. My stomach was upset, but I knew I needed something to eat to get through the day. As I nibbled on the toast, my mind continued to wander. The image of Micah that night never left my head, his expression of pain mixed with determination. Micah had done a lot of stupid things, but he had also put himself at risk to protect us. It didn't erase his mistakes, but it was a gesture I couldn'
