I'm tired

Lilian POV

That rainy night, I opened the window and looked down to see a man in the middle of the night in the rain picking up pebbles on the ground to throw at my window.

I sucked in air, surprised, when I recognized the man as Jensen. He was getting ready to throw more rocks, but stopped when he saw me there at the window.

“What the hell are you doing..?” I whispered to myself, still looking at the man there in the rain.

Jensen was looking at me with the pebbles in his hand. He scratched his head, embarrassed, and then signaled, asking me to let him into my house. It was crazy—it was crazy that he was there at that time of night in the rain. For anything he had to deal with, he could have waited until the next morning, or at least when it wasn't raining. I sighed and left the window, putting on a nightgown as I was only wearing a light night dress, then I left my room, and headed towards the door where he was waiting for me.

When I opened the door, he was there, soaked by the rain.
