She hadn’t taken time to know Nick; perhaps she was blinded by his beauty. He was handsome, and he knew it. He would leave the house and report to his office, where he worked as a therapist and would stay there for hours.

One day, two years into their marriage, Josephine was in a taxi going back home after taking Thomas for a clinic checkup when the taxi stopped in the middle of the highway because of a commotion that was on the streets.
