“What the fuck?!” Kate suddenly yelped, her eyes were so wide they might pop out.

Kate felt a burden she didn't know she was carrying go off her shoulders. She was relieved her secret was still safe, but for how much longer? She couldn't hide forever. Someday she had to tell Melody the truth. She knew that. She just didn't feel ready to do so now.

“My father told me about it when I came home from my trip. At first, I thought it was a joke because he has never dated anyone since my mom passed away.
