Vicky faithfully attended all her sessions. She was learning to deal with her emotions. Veronica was a good listener and was very empathetic towards her patient.

“Thank you, mum. I resented you at first for making me start therapy, but now I realize you were doing it for my good,” she told Stacy.

“You are my daughter. I love you. I couldn’t let you go through what was bothering you alone. I hope you are okay now,” Stacy said.

“Better than I have ever been. Veronica has done more than help me. I have started looking at myself from a different angle. Am sorry for being such a bad daughter.”

“You don’t have to apologize. We all go through difficult moments, and we respond differently. Am just happy you are okay now,”

“I will finish my session next week. I can’t wait for Steph to be back. I want a new beginning for all of us,”

“Talking of Steph, she tried calling you, but you weren’t available. She said hi,” Stacy said, turning on the tv.<
