Kara snorted before she walked past him and went inside the house as if she owns it. He really wanted to ask her why she skipped classes, but Jake also felt a sense of appreciation towards her for showing up when he felt so lost.
After releasing a heavy sigh, Jake entered the room and found her standing in front of the electric fan, trying to cool herself. The weather was really hot that day, but Jake only realized it when Kara appeared.
