The F* Friend (6)

Samantha smiles and goes back inside the house. Everyone is upstairs, but the lights are still on. She locks the door and goes to the kitchen to get a glass of milk. She switches off the lights and goes upstairs.

Bobby is already asleep. She changes to her pajamas and goes to bed. She is thankful and prays that everything will change for the better soon.

Samantha wakes up before Bobby. She takes her phone to look at the time and finds she has an email from Bella.

The email’s subject is a job vacancy. She takes a deep breath and opens it. She learns that an upcoming company in New York is looking to hire a secretary. She goes through the qualifications, and fortunately, she has met all of them. She gets her laptop, quickly follows the instruction, and successfully submits the requirements.

Samantha thanks God for the opportunity and prays for a chance to work for the company if it is God’s will. She texts Bella, “thank you, honey,”
