Waking up from the coma is a complicated event. Ted feels the pain of the bullets in his body, and the whole weight of recovery falls on him. However, the happiness he feels to be back in the world of the living is something indescribable.

He looks around, and the lights in the operating room assure him that now this situation is not a dream. He has really returned. His tears fall down his cheeks, but little by little, he feels the influence of the painkillers, and his dream comes back to him.

The fear he feels at that moment is indescribable and being in that situation makes his breathing quicken. Ted fights with all his might to stay awake, but this is impossible. At this moment, he falls asleep.

Despite sleeping, the desperation he feels to be awake keeps him in the middle. His consciousness does not return to the limbo of dreams, the meetings that Sarah so desired did not take place, and the loneliness of the young woman eats her away.
