Three years after…

David was home for dinner. After the scandals, his father had forbidden him from coming home or seeing the family until he fixed his mess. This might seem a bit harsh, but it seemed fair to David, for he knew how much that decision must have hurt his family.

Due to his actions, the company shares had fallen by almost fifty percent, and investors had started pulling out.

It was a really trying period that had taught him a lot. It had a taken a lot of pleading and bribing to get the investors back. He had also been able to compensate Betz’s husband, so the lawsuit was canceled.

For the other scandal, after a lot of investigations and a paternity test, the pregnancy claim was dismissed, thankfully. David was not so keen to be a father after all.
