Realizing what he had just done, David laughed bitterly to himself. He had thought of God today more times than he had done in the last ten years.

How sad! Shaking the thoughts away, he tried to concentrate on other things.

Letting his wander, he thought about what would happen if Amanda couldn’t treat him. He would eventually have to tell his parents. He couldn’t possibly keep it a secret from them much longer.

Eventually, they would want to know why he didn’t want to settle down if it came to that. He grimaced as he thought about it.

How do you tell your parents you can no longer get it up? God, how embarrassing.

Even worse, what if the media found out? He could just imagine what would happen. They would chew him up and spit him out in front of the whole world.
