Elena scoffed as she eyed Craig, “I didn’t see you like this.” She added before turning away from him.
Craig facepalmed himself, groaning mentally as he leaned on the wall. He was growing tired as each day passed, her acting weird, deciding to be friendly with him for a day and running off to Matthew another day.
“Elena,” he called out, rushing to meet up with her.
Elena didn’t bother to answer him, packing her books inside her locker before closing it and walking away.
“At least let me take you home,”
“Don’t worry. I’ll go with Matthew.”
Craig stopped in his tracks and scoffed, “and here we go again. Matthew! Matthew! Matthew!” He called out, gaining some looks from the other students that were passing.
Elena halted in her steps before turning back to loo
Craig dropped Elena at home out of annoyance, not even bothering to look back as she got down of the car. With loud music blaring from the car and him bobbing his head back and forth to it, by the time he got home, part of him being annoyed was now out of his body and he was feeling well. He had just entered when Gaby appeared from the stairs. “Someones asking for you.” She said and eyed him. “I’ve asked her to go into your room,” she added as he started moving towards the living room. He walked up to her, eyeing her before squinting his eyes, “are you mad at me?” He asked. “What’s a girl doing in our house that’s not Elena, or our school mate, or your friend and even dressed like that? Are you planning on cheating?” She turned to face him. “First of all, her name is Malinda.” Craig started. “And another thing, I’m not that blind to see how Matthew looks
“Elena, what are you doing here?” Gaby asked as they let er in, craig closing the door after her.“You called me, remember? And you were sounding so off, like something was going on with you. To be honest, I was not doing anything so I decided to check up on you first.” She retorted, walking towards the living room.Craig had no idea why he was following them but he took his seat with them in the sitting room, his eyes focused on Elena who ignored him.“So what’s wrong? Why were you sounding like someone was about to kill you?”Gaby exchanged eye contact with Craig, looking back at Elena who already noticed them.“Did you call me because of him?” Elena asked, scrunching her brows up.“Nope. why did you say that?”“So why did you call me? No reason at all?”“Are you sayin
Craig showed up early enough to Elena’s house the next day, even getting out of his car and knocking on the door to pick her up.“You’re Craig right? She’s still dressing up inside, I hope you don’t mind?” Elena’s mum opened the door to answer him, leading him towards the sitting room before going upstairs. He smiled at her and shook his head, rubbing his hand nervously against one another as he waited for her to climb down. After some minutes, she walked down, their eyes clashing before she halted in her steps.“What are you doing here?” She questioned.“To take you to school.”“I already called…”“Don’t worry.” He cut her off. “I’ll take you.” He replied, standing up and walking towards her.He took her bag off her sh
"Let's just move on from this alright," Gaby said and continued eating her food, ignoring the stares that they were giving her. After lunch, Elena walked up to her locker. She opened it and placed her head inside, sighing deeply."Elena.... Elena!" Matthew called as she closed her locker and was about leaving. She turned and looked at him with surprise. She was happy to see him but quickly fixed her face so it wouldn't show that she was."Yes? Sorry, I didn't hear you," she said, softly."Yeah..I figured, that's why I yelled your name," Matthew said as soon as he caught up with her.He lifted his finger and flicked her forehead."What's going on in this little head of yours that you couldn't hear me calling you? And please, don't tell me that you stuck your head in your locker as you always do again," He said rolling his eyes at her.Elena frowned her face at him and used her hands to massage where he had flicked her forehead. She can't tell him that she was still confused about Crai
"He's here, Elena...!" Gaby yelled at Elena as She watched the car approach the house."I'm on my way!" Elena yelled back, "Give me a few minutes."She looked at her face in the mirror and sighed. Her mom and Silver had made it their duty to do her hair and make-up.She had no idea why they were being all fussy about her date with Craig when she was being that way.She sighed and shook her head before walking out of the room."Hurry up, Hun. It's not proper for a lady to keep a man waiting, " Her mom said and she frowned her face at her."I thought you said it wasn't proper for a lady to rush down as soon as a man calls?" She teased. "Yeah but not this one," Her mom retorted."Whatever mom, " Elena said, laughing at her mom's comment."Have fun and forget about everything," Silver said, giving her a look. She knew something was going on between Elena and Matthew and had tried to make Elena feel better by hanging out with her all the time. She smiled as Elena also understood her and
Elena picked up her comb from her drawer and combed her hair straight. She didn't sleep well last night because she was busy thinking about what Craig had said earlier and about Sarah's plans. She yawned as she dropped the comb. She didn't want it to look obvious that she didn't sleep well so she took a concealer from her table and rubbed some over her dark circles until it blended with her skin."Elena! Come downstairs, someone is waiting for you! " Her mom shouted and she groaned inwardly. It had to be Craig because she made no plans with Matthew for him to pick her up and judging by the time of her mom's voice, it was obviously him.She quickly dabbed her lips with some tissue and quickly grabbed her bags. She doesn't want her mother to interrogate him about their date last night."So? How was it? I heard you took her to some fancy restaurant. She didn't tell me that of course, I overheard her telling her friends, " Clara asked Craig as they stood in the sitting room waiting for El
Matthew pulled his car into the driveway and got out of the car as Sarah also got out. They got inside and walked inside and Gabe their ticket to the man at the entrance and grabbed some popcorn before walking in to the cinema.Sarah was excited to be alone with Matthew and was smiling all through as they watched the movie."The movie was so much interesting. Now I get why my friends keeps talking about it. Did you see the main lead, God, he looks hot as hell," Sarah said as soon as they walked out."It was fun, surprisingly," Matthew said softly."What do you mean by surprisingly?" Sarah asked, stopping Midway."I was surprised to see that you love movies like that but it still was interesting to me even though I don't watch romance movies, " Matthew said, smiling at her."Oh.. I see what you're doing. You're trying to say it's typical of girls to love romance movies and that you were surprised to see that I also loved it?""Yeah.. I mean. You don't seem like someone who loves romanc
Elena jumped up from her bed as her phone rang loudly in her ears."Hello?" She answered sleepily, without looking at the caller ID."Elena? Wake up you sleepy head, it's Silver, " The voice said into her ears."Silver? What's up? Why are you calling me this early?" Elena said, finally opening her eyes."What's the tea, honey? I heard you and Matthew have somewhere to be today. Where is it?" She asked, sounding curious. "That's why you called this early? You woke me up from my sleep because of your curiosity?""What do you mean by early in the morning? Girl, look at the time. It's literally 9am in the morning. What did you do that you slept off this hard that you had no idea how time has passed?""9am?"Elena asked, looking at her phone, "Shit! How come I didn't notice it? It's late.""Yeah I know, that's why I asked what you did last night. You don't stay up this late," Silver said, sounding worried.Elena yawned and stood up from the bed, pacing around the room. She had stayed up al
