Raya’s POV

"How did you manage to escape?" Elliot inquired, his expression serious and demanding. My heart raced, and my palms grew sweaty, fully aware that I was in danger. Despite the situation, I couldn't resist answering him.

"Well, your dungeon isn't exactly well-constructed. The place is falling apart," I replied, unable to hold back my words.

He held his head high, crossing his arms, his anger evident as his nostrils flared. Taking a step towards me, I instinctively took one back. His eyes flickered, seemingly surprised by my reaction, but what did he expect? Of course, I would step back when a menacing figure approached me.

"You think I'm going to harm you?" he asked, his voice suddenly soft. It was just the two of us in this grand throne room. Yes, a damn throne room!

"Of course I do," I responded, looking up at him, curious about his thoughts.

"If you were so convinced that you would be harmed, why didn't you attempt to flee? Why not try to climb the walls, at least?" h

Dane’s POV “We have to go after her.” I told Cruz, feeling myself dying inside, knowing she was still with the Eclipse Moon Pack. “We’re not going to risk the lives of all these wolves for one human woman. I am sorry, Dane. I can’t take those odds. You’ll understand more when you have your pack under you,” Cruz said, trying to place his hand on my shoulder. But I moved, not wanting him to touch me right now. The feeling stirring inside of me was ready to boil out and attack, and I didn’t want the person I attacked to be Cruz. “Alpha Jan is ready for you, Beta. That is if you’re still wanting to challenge him,” Beta Thane told me, staring down at me from his nose, as if I were some weak wolf challenging his Alpha. I pushed past him, making sure to hit him with my shoulder on the way out. With the rage fueling me deep inside, I knew I would be inflicting a good amount of damage to ol' Alpha Jan here. I pushed my way past the crowd that had gathered. Having the Lunas back seemed to

Raya's POV I stared out the small oval-shaped window in the room I now have to call home. I felt like that one princess with the ridiculously long hair that is trapped in a tower all her life. Her name escapes me. Either way, it was not a place I ever envisioned myself to be in. Apparently, that concoction Blake had us drink only allowed for one question, so he didn't tell me of a way to escape. It surprised me that he would use his one question to ask why the Lunaris pack was keeping me. I told him I'd answer any of his questions if he would answer mine, but he denied me, saying maybe another time. At least now I know to avoid any liquids that have the same color. Something tells me he won't be the only one trying to slip this truth serum, as I call it, into my drinks. I was pretty bored up here with nothing to do and a door that stayed locked from the outside. I tried my luck at picking the lock, but only haven seen this done in movies, I knew nothing of how to go about it. Defe

Dane's POV "What color did it change to?" Amaya asked as she scarfed down the food we had brought her as if she were some kind of starved rabid animal. She has not left Garret's side once. Every couple of hours, she would get up and give him more of that pain-reducer concoction she made. She was also rotating his blood in a way. She would take out a pint while pumping in a new one. If she couldn't fix it with magic, she hoped maybe she could with science. It wasn’t a terrible idea, but I felt that it was only buying him time and not necessarily making him better. "It turned yellow, maybe a bit orange. It was like the sun was shining in the palm of my hand," I told her, holding my hand out and staring at my palm, remembering the sensation. "That bright, huh?" She took another bite, speaking with a mouth full of rice. "There's some powerful magic at play. Very, very powerful. I think I'll have to go with you once Garret is better. I could probably tell you what kind of magic is be

Raya’s POVElliot stepped into the room with the look of a hungry wolf. His gaze was fierce, piercing straight into my soul. As he took a step closer to me, my body began to hum again. Almost as if it were trying to tune itself with his. He closed the door behind him, causing my heart to race at an unsteady beat. I knew he was here to punish me, but what he would do, I hadn’t the slightest clue. My mind instantly thought back to the knife through Drusilla’s hand. If he would do that to one of his closest confidants, what would he do to someone like me? “Stand up,” he ordered, but in my fear, I had forgotten how to move. Elliot's eyes went dark, staring me down as he kept his chin high. “I said, stand up,” he commanded, his tone bordering on anger. Coming to my senses, I stood from my chair, but I dared not make another move. “Come here.” He pointed to the floor in front of him, but I would not come closer. “First you disrespect me, now you want to defy me?” He arched his left brow,

Dane’s POV “Are you saying you think I am him?” I finally asked the man, getting some semblance of a grip on my unraveling emotions. “Possibly. You certainly look like Cale,” he said, holding his chin in thought as he gazed at me more intently. “Where is the pack now?” I asked, desperate to finally find them. For some off reason, my question caused him to raise his guard, confusing me further. “This is another one of your traps, isn’t it, Draven?” he asked, taking a step back suddenly. “What are you talking about? Who is Draven?” I mirrored his step forward, trying to keep the same distance between us. I didn't want to let this man, with the answers to my past, escape me. "Don't play with me. I know you can shape shift, Warlock!" he exclaimed in such disgust and anger. Whoever this Draven was, it was clear that this man both hated and feared him. "What are you going on about? My name is Dane, not Draven. I'm not a fucking warlock. I'm a werewolf. You literally saw my wolf

Raya’s POV “If you do everything I tell you to do, you’ll have the strongest orgasm of your life. Do you think you can do that, Raya? Do what I tell you?” he asked, allowing his hand to slide between my thighs and cup my dampening core. “No,” I answered, refusing to allow myself to be swayed by a promise of pleasure I never even asked for. “So stubborn,” he growled, but there was an amused gleam in his eyes when he looked down at me. He moved his hand back to my breast, continuing his torment, pulling down at the collar of my already low dress. He managed to make the material relinquish one of my breasts, taking the hardened bud of my nipple between his teeth. I thought I would explode when he lightly nipped at it. My hips were still firmly held in place by one of his hands, allowing for this torment to continue with no relief. When his tongue came out in greeting, licking around my nipple, my back instinctually arched in pleasure. I was being driven mad with lust, realizing tha

Raya's POVBlake was embarrassed, which told me he knew what had just happened in this room. In his hands were a set of clothes about my size, bra and underwear included. On top of the pile sat a tub of what looked like some kind of cream, and a light pink crystal. "What's this?" I asked him, keeping my head high, despite feeling absolutely mortified right now. "I was told to take you to the private shower in the Alpha’s quarters. The cream is for…um..your sore areas," he said with deep embarrassment, not able to meet my eyes. "And the crystal…" he paused, turning a cherry tomato red. "It's to…uh…to help relieve you." Now I was the one turning red. In my haste to get this moment over with I snatched the things from Blake without a word. I stepped out of the room, realizing I had no idea where I was going. When Blake noticed he stepped out and silently led the way. We were both dying of embarrassment at this awkward moment, thanks to that fucking Alpha Elliot. I will never let this

Dane's POV "Alpha, meet my brother, your Gamma," Barrett introduced me to a man with wavy light brown hair and light brown eyes. The men resembled each other greatly. "Bennet, I found him. Our Alpha has returned." Bennett and Barrett, who resemble each other closely, twins. I felt their close bond through my own. These are the men I am to work with closely. Bennett's eyes locked with mine and he smiled widely at me. For a split second I thought I saw Garret sitting in his place. My mind must definitely be overwhelmed. I shook my head as if to shake the image out of my head. "You okay?" Barrett asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just thought you were the Gamma back in my old pack for a moment. I think my mind is just on overdrive right now." I answered, as they both nodded in understanding. "Why don't you sit? I am sure this is all very overwhelming," Bennett pulled a seat out for me, allowing me to sit around a large, rounded, dark wood table. "Thank you." "Why don't you tell us ab

Raya’s POV A heavy gush of hair left my lungs as my sweet child kicked me under the ribs once more. There was barely any room for him inside me now, and I still had another two weeks to go. Training has become increasingly hard, as being pregnant has somehow tripled my powers. I guess my body wants to protect our child just as much as my heart. “What have I told you about kicking your mother?” Dane jokingly scolded our child as he pointed to my stomach, as if he could understand. I laughed, loving every moment of seeing him be a dad. Dane has spoiled me rotten, never leaving my side, carrying me everywhere, bringing me everything. I couldn’t ask for a better king– for a better mate. In this world he is more than just a husband. He is part of my soul– my literal other half. “I’m ready for him to come out, but also not. I really feel like I have no idea what I am doing. What if I mess it all up? What if I can’t control my goddess magic while in labor?” These worries have been eatin

Raya’s POV Holding Dane’s hand, I dragged him out of the orgy that had apparently started and gave chase to Nessa. I wanted to know who it was that was mated to a woman like her. Who would be strong enough to handle her? She was fast as she ran through the field and into the castle. She paused at the center first floor with her nose in the air as she scented out her mate. When she caught the strong smell once more, she headed up the stairs. I began to realize where we were headed as she turned right at the corridor and then another left. When we reached his room, it suddenly made sense. I had seen that faint white line when they had first met, after all. I just didn’t realize what it was, and neither had they. She busted that door open without a care, entering without asking. Blake’s eyes bulged out of his head as he stared at a crazy looking Nessa. Her eyes were fiercely on him, like a cat in heat ready to pounce. She was not going to be taking no as an answer, so I really hope Bla

Raya’s POV I found Grandpa with Blake, messing with things in his room. It was almost as if we had two official wizard’s instead of just one. I realized with the curse gone, and Elliot dead, would Blake want to return to his old pack. That would be something I would leave up to him. Of course, I would miss him if he chose to leave, but I would also understand. Especially with Dad coming back, we would have 3 wizards in this pack, and somehow that feels against the rules. If there even are any for that. “I need to talk to you,” I told him as I approached him, giving him a hug before I continued. With everything going on, I had yet to tell him the news about Dad. I was giddy with excitement, ready to just blurt it out. “You’ve got my attention, pumpkin.” “I had a meeting this morning with a group of gods called the Gilded Enforcers.” “The Gilded Enforcers?!” Grandpa’s eyes shot wide, seeming to know exactly who I was talking about. “Are you okay? Are you being punished? What hap

Raya’s POVI watched as Amaya tried to process everything that had just been told to her. She took a step back as she does when she needs a second longer to think. Her eyes scanned over Hunter cautiously, taking in every little feature. She was studying him, studying her mate. Finally, after about 5 minutes, she walked towards Hunter. I watched as my poor new friend stood against my oldest friend. He was scared. I could feel it from where I stood. “You’re a wizard?” Her tone was laced with deep disbelief, even though I had confirmed his story. Amaya wasn’t quick to trust, especially not someone she previously disliked. “I am.” Hunter nodded, his posture slouching slightly under her gaze. She was tearing this poor new Alpha down in a matter of seconds as she circled him, almost as if she were appraising me. “Show me,” she demanded, holding her chin as she continued to analyze him. “I don’t really know how without hurting something.” “Come with me.” Amaya grabbed his hand, causing

Hunter’s POVI tried to find Amaya last night, to tell her who I was to her. I knew witches didn’t have mates, at least not normally. Most chose a wizard to be with so that their children could still have magic. In rare instances a wolf would be mated to a witch, but in most of those cases, the witch would reject them, not wanting to lose the magic they could pass down to their children. I could understand that, but this would be different. I am not only a werewolf but a wizard, and as such, Amaya and I could have children that would still be able to have magic. She wouldn’t have to give anything up to be with me, at least nothing except the Lunaris Pack.My heart clenched at the thought of her rejecting me. I knew she hated the Eclipse Moon Pack with a passion. Without her feeling the mate bon

Raya’s POVI awoke to the sound of a light humming. It called to me like a siren in the night, leading me in a trance down the hall and away from my sleeping mate. Standing in front of a room with a black door speckled in white, I slowly opened the door, unsure of what I would find. There stood three large figures in gold, each one with their own intimidating presence. Their eerie eyes scanned over me as if I were nothing more than an ant in their wake. In front of them stood my mother alongside my father. I knew not who these large figures were, but I knew they were important.“Come inside, daughter of Selene. Your presence is required for us to proceed,” the man in the middle spoke. He was taller than the other two by a few inches. His gold skin shone as if he were painted in golden glitter. His hair was no different, spar

Dane’s POVThe fight that felt like it had taken days to finish, was finally over. Raya was safe and in my arms once more as we stared out onto the bloody field. I knew we had a lot to clean up, but for just a minute I was able to hold Raya close. The effects of the necklace that Blake had gifted me before the fight were starting to wear off, causing me to feel the insane need to be wrapped around my mate. She stared out at all the deceased, feeling their deaths deep in her soul. I knew it was affecting her greatly, especially Barrett’s.“Elliot is dead,” she whispered to me, revealing she wasn’t just hurting for Barrett. “We need to find Cruz, he’s hurt.”With just those words the need to consume her vanished, replaced by worry for the man I call my brother. I honestly wasn’t sure if witches had mates, or how any of that worked. Having just had so much of myself revealed to me, I wondered if she would accept a freak such as myself. The need to yell at Blake for taking me away from my mate was strong, only when we landed and my eyes fell on Elliot did that need stop.“Fuck me,” Blake said, letting out a breath of despair as he kneeled beside Elliot.I had never seen him so hurt before, not in all my life. Raya’s POVWe were whisked away into the galaxy as stars flitted about all around me. It was the most beautiful sight, but as I got closer to them, I realized they weren’t just stars. Each one had a name and they belonged to a witch or wizard, while others belonged to wolves. The stars were the magic that made every supernatural possible. They were the magic that wizards and witches yielded. The magic that helped werewolves shift. The magic that kept vampires alive. One in particular, a giant red star, called to me. I knew it to be mine as I approached its flickering light.“I thought you might be able to feel them all, but I wasn’t sure,” Dad said with a proud smile on his face. “This one is yours, go ahead and touch it.”My hands shook with nerves, unsure of what was about to happen
