Chapter 21: Self-Defense

Enora stepped out into the crisp morning air, the sun casting a golden glow over the community as she made her way towards Grace’s cabin. It had been a day or so since the encounter with Sebastian and Lucas, and the tension between them was transforming from hatred to desire.

Even though Enora was still confused and unsure of how to handle the desire and longing she felt, she felt comfortable with it when she was out there in the community. It was like it made sense to feel all that in this place.

Enora found herself wanting to skip down to Grace’s cabin. She felt good and was grateful for Adam for helping her to connect to Grace. She really knew almost everyone in the area and has been a great help so far.

Knocking on the door, Enora waited patiently until Grace appeared, a warm smile lighting up her face as she greeted her.
