Aria.

Ava went to check the window again, through the small opening, but she came back and shook her head. “There’s no sign of him coming.” She said dejectedly and walked back to meet me on the small bed, I was seated on the ground with my legs crossed.

It was almost time, a guard had brought in the black dress that I would wear, and he would be back to take me to the Alpha.

“I don’t think he will be able to make it.” She sighs. “If Alpha Damon doesn’t come, there won’t be any way for you to get out of this.”

“I have to think of something.”

“What can you think of? You are trapped here. Alpha Rowan would take you and like you said, you promised to do everything that he asked.”

I nodded and gave her a side glance. “I brought this upon myself, I am quite aware of that,” I muttered and looked away.

“That’s not what I meant.” She insisted, and I just kept quiet. I haven’t been able to close my eyes since I was brought here, nor have I even moved from where I was seated.

I was just

Aria. I walked with the guard, and he led me to the garden of the Packhouse, it had been decorated, but I didn’t care much about it. But I noticed the difference when I stepped into the garden. He had a black suit on and was facing a small podium, and there was an elderly man that stood before him, he was the one grinning widely at me. I walked down to meet him, gripping my hand on my dress tight, the guard stopped walking and left. I was left alone. Alpha Rowan spun around and caught my stare, his upper lips quirked, and he crossed his hand at his back and watched me. I kept walking down to him, hiding every emotion that I had on my face. I said nothing and kept my head up as I walked down to meet with him. “There she is…” He chuckled. “You made the right decision to do this, Aria and this man standing over here will join us together, and you will get to me forever, and look, it’s a full moon. I guess our union has been approved by the Moon Goddess and it should be that way, do

Damon. “You can’t come with us…” I stopped Liam from leaving the bed, he had passed out in the office and we had to take him down to the hospital for proper treatment. “We’ll handle it.” “I can manage.” “Rowan is going to know that you came here and informed us about the incident.” “I don’t care what he thinks.”I had a minute to look at him if he had truly said all that to me. He placed his feet on the ground and put his shoes back on. “You don’t know the in and out of the pack, more than I do, and who won’t be able to get access into the pack without me, else you want to start a fight and that would alert Alpha Rowan, and our plan will become ruined. I’m not sure you want that, Alpha Damon.” I studied him, and he was right about what he said that I didn’t even have to argue.“So you said everything happened last night?” “It did.” He stood up and groaned, his hand went around his stomach. “We are running out of time. We should head out.” He nodded wore a jacket, and grimace

Damon. “Sober up!” I said as I slapped my hand against his cheek, and his lashes flapped but he wasn’t opening his eyes yet. I had to hit him again. “Are you just going to lie down there? I don’t have enough time to spare.” “Aria?” His weak voice came up and I snorted. “Aria it is indeed.” I shook him up a bit. “Alpha what should we do?” One of the soldiers I had taken along with me, asked.“We can’t leave him here, he won’t survive a night. His wolf was very weak, and he had been injected with an overdose of wolfsbane. If he doesn’t get treated, there won't be any hope for him.” Typical of Rowan to do that, clear every obstacle in his way, and there won’t be any hindrance in getting what he wanted, and I don’t think he forgot about me either. “What about the others? Have they tracked down Lucian?” “No, Alpha. He hasn’t been found yet.” I took my gaze back to the body stretched out on the ground, tired, and barely moving his body but I found his eyes opened, and he was starin

Aria. ++An hour before Damon came++“You think I have no idea who you are?” Alpha Rowan muttered the moment he was taking me back to the garden after we had left the prison. “…and you haven’t awakened the power in you yet and the bond that was placed on you.” The feet came to a sudden halt and refused to take another step forward. Rowan pulled me by his hand but I refused to take another step. “Surprised that I found out?” He asked with a cocky smile, my gaze felt heavy the moment I lifted them to his face. How did he find out about it? How did he know who I was?He stopped pulling me, deep his hands into his pocket, and brought something out of it. “I’m the only one who can help you.” He smirked and started to fiddle around the small bottle he held in his hand. “Because I know you more than you think and more than you’re capable of.” I managed to ask, “How?” “I have my ways, and you’ve worked for me, for a long time, Aria. Aria. The pain was more than I could handle, and it was crashing down on my knees, so I pulled my grip away from Rowan. He was staring at me cautiously as if he wanted to know what was wrong with me. “This wasn’t supposed to happen,” I heard him mutter, and a howl escaped my throat, I wasn’t having my complete shift yet and hadn’t turned completely. “This wasn’t the plan. How could this be happening? This wasn’t the time for it to happen…” He kept muttering. I could see my shadow and I had gotten bigger than I was some couple of minutes ago. Alpha Damon was fighting his way to get to me since Rowan’s soldiers had surrounded him and he was fighting them off before he got to me. What I could understand was the worried look on Rowan’s face, he was bothered as well as if this wasn’t supposed to happen. With every howl, I felt like my throat was tearing up, and it was painful as well. Another howl broke out, I shifted into my wolf form fully and growled at Rowan. He retreated his s

Damon. The moment Aria’s eyes closed, she didn’t open it or stir even when I carried her out of the pack house in my arms, there was a dagger stuck on my back, and that was the reason I was grunting in pain.Rowan was the one who had struck me with the dagger and I didn’t want Aria to see it. That’s why I wanted her to close her eyes, and not see the stab wound on my back. I had no idea she would keep her eyes shut for a long time. The rest of the soldiers came, and they started fighting with the other men of Rowan. It was a fierce, and intensive fight, and that was how we were able to leave the pack house. I carried Aria out and when I got into the woods, I had to shift into my wolf form, I placed her over my back, and we headed back to our pack. I didn’t run fast because of her so she didn’t slip off my back. And because I hadn’t taken off the dagger yet, the pain was still there and I was bleeding as well but there was nothing I could do other than bear the pain that I felt t

Damon. “Alpha. I have to pull this out…” Mrs Smith, was the one that Peterson had gone to call to check up on Aria since she had treated her the first time that she came to the hospital. “Check her first,” I replied to her with a straight face. She stared at me for a moment, I could feel the look in her eyes on my body, but I wasn’t giving her any of those stares. “I thought I should pull that out of you and get you treated first.” “You don’t have to worry about me. Find out what’s wrong with Aria, and then we can talk about me. Get to her now.” I ordered and stood beside the bed with my hands folded. She walked towards the bed with a small box that she had brought along with her and dropped it beside the bed. She bent over and started to check on her. I watched her keenly and everything that she did. Ever since the death of my mother, I had never engaged her in anything, and now I was entrusting her with Aria. She opened Aria’s mouth, placed something into it, and then took it

Those words that he said and I couldn’t argue or say anything when he said that and left the room. I sat down on the chair that he was treated on and watched Aria with my arms folded. Damon said she was an Alpha wolf, I didn’t know why I found it hard to believe him when he said that. Aria was smart and quick to solve problems and decisions, and I got to realize that’s why the Alpha liked her because she was all of that. She was someone who could help him, and I was somehow glad it was someone like that, and I wanted her to stay at his side forever. “I don’t know if you can hear me, Aria…” I breathed out. ”you’ve four men fighting over you. Author’s Pov. The fight was fierce, and there was a lot of blood, the moon didn’t come out as they thought it would. It was rather a dark moment in the pack, as it was covered with blood. Aria didn’t want them to kill either of them but wanted them to face judgement instead, they were defeated and then captured. Rowan thought that he stood a chance against Aria and Damon but he wasn’t able to get past just Aria. They were made to face the council, and Aria charged the other Alphas who came with Rowan for conspiracy. He denied that everything played out was a lie even when they attacked the pack. Abby had come in, he was surprised to see her, she came in with the help of Kade who held her since she couldn’t quite manage on her own. She started to bring evidence of what Alpha Rowan had done to her, her parents were in the courthouse as well, they came and brought evidence against Rowan. He couldn’t speak anymore or could defend himself for what he had done. Aria came up and re

Aria. The night was dark, there wasn’t even a moon in sight, I had felt, that something was coming, and we were getting prepared. The pack had been busy and everyone seemed to be preoccupied with one thing or the other, we hadn’t had a chance to discuss with each other and we had all been busy. “…I think they are coming this way,” Liam said as he met with me at the balcony, we were all gathered at the pack house but at different places at the moment. “They couldn’t wait.” “Knowing Rowan, that’s how he acts, and he does that fast because that’s how he thinks as well.” “So he’s coming here thinking that we aren’t prepared for him or what?” “He could think that way, that he’s about to launch an attack on our pack, and get all of us in one go, that’s probably what he’s planning.” “Then he must be stupid thinking we are just going to wait for him to attack and not do anything about it.” I tapped my hand on the railings and we stared ahead into the night. “Why did you leave Rowan?”

Rowan. “…isn’t it about time you take the mask off your face?” I asked with a groan and walked over to my desk, I sat down and took the bandage off my shoulder. The wound that I had sustained was very deep, and it took time for it to heal completely, but still, it left a scar on my shoulder. “I’ve to get Aria back. I didn’t hear from Denon and that only means that she must’ve been awake. That’s the reason he didn’t come back to find me, else he would have done that.” I tossed the bandage on the ground and exhaled. He blinked his eyes at me and wasn’t saying much, I frowned at the reaction that I got from him. “I thought we were in this together.” “You never told me about your plan to get married to her.” He said. “Well, it didn’t quite work out, did it?” “You should’ve told me about it, but you didn’t.” “You are hiding something from me too ain’t you?” I raised my brow at him. “Why don’t you take off your mask and then we can know if it’s worth it to trust each other.” He ch

Aria. The Alpha of the Crimson Pack knew who I was, and he didn’t hesitate to allow me into his pack, the second that I arrived there with Damon. He was the one who saved me that night, that’s what he told me. We followed him into the Pack, and his office, his pack wasn’t as big as Damon’s Pack, and his pack members were minimal, I wondered how someone like him could hold that power when he wasn’t even equal to most of the strongest and powerful packs in the country. “…I wasn’t the one who had bound your powers.” He said, and I raised my brows at him. “Then who did?” “Have a seat.” He gestured to Alpha Damon and me. “It was your mother.” He replied, and I blinked my eyes at him. “My mother did that?” “Yes, she did it at the very last minute, and had your powers bound, she wanted to protect you from him.” “You sounded like you knew my mother.” “I did. She grew up in our pack,” “When her pack was under attack, she requested help, but it came late, and when we got there the pa

Aria. I stared at Damon after she had shamelessly left the house, he was quiet, and we were all seated in the living room. “…we went to bury him today,” Kade said he was the one who broke the prolonged silence. I took my gaze away from Damon and stared at him. “You should have woken me up,” I muttered. “We didn’t want to bother you, and knowing how you feel about Peterson. We thought it was better to leave you out of it and tell you after, it wasn’t nice there, the one you saw here was worse than what happened there. His family was so tucked up.” Kade sighed. “I never liked him but, I could tell he had a lot held in him, and must’ve been through so much. Seeing the family he came from, I kind of pity him a little bit, they didn’t care about him or even choose to respect him on his last day.” Kade clicked his tongue. “…all they did was blame the Alpha for what happened.” Damon excused himself from our midst and took the stairs to his bedroom. I wanted to go after him but Soren sh

Aria. Damon had my bathroom prepared and made me get into the bathroom, he carried me down to the bathroom and placed me on the bathtub, he washed my hair gently, I could feel his tender fingers on my scalp and didn’t want him to stop. I bathed and left the bathroom with him, and he chose the clothes that he wanted me to wear before I could rest for the night. Next, he served me breakfast, and after I was done eating, he lay next to me on the bed and watched me. His fingers stroked my hair affectionately. “I had my hopes up…” His voice came up, and I leaned closer to him. “I thought I might not be the one that will end up as your mate and even if it wasn’t me, I was going to do what I had to, but I did hope that I ended up being your mate. Aria.” He confessed and I touched the bridge of his nose with a smile on my face. “My wolf chose you.”“What about you? Did you choose me?” “I did. We both did, Damon.” My hand moved down to his chest and he heaved a sigh of relief. He pulle

Aria. I didn’t say another word before he took me into his arms, he squeezed me against his body, holding me so tight as if I would disappear if he let me go and he didn’t want that. When he pulled away, he cupped my face in his hand, staring intently into my eyes, and slowly his gaze fell on my lips, and I kissed it.I didn’t wait for him to take any initiative, I took it, my hand wrapped around his neck, and he kissed back passionately. My wolf wanted more, and she didn’t seem to be satisfied with just kissing him, she wanted more at this rate, taking all of him, wanting to mate with him and have him claim us as his mate. We wanted our scent to be mixed with his, which would make us off limits, and everyone would know that I was his mate. He pulled away from the kiss and grazed his finger on my lips. He smiled at me, and we pulled away from each other. I had forgotten that they were in the room with me, when I turned, the bedroom was empty, and I didn’t know when they left the

Aria. I could feel my wolf, I felt her, it felt like the first time in forever, and she purred inside me. My wolf. I exhaled, and glanced around the room, staring at the strange face that had poked her face into me. She grinned and waved her hand at me. “I’ve lost some strength, hope you don’t mind if I rest up a little.” Her dark eyes were sparkling, and she didn’t smell like a wolf. “I’m not a wolf.” “Did you read my thoughts?” “Kind of.” And smirked. I glanced around and found six pairs of eyes staring down at me with concern. “She needs some time to rest.” The girl said to them, and she moved away from the bed, giving me some space. Kade sat at my right-hand side, Soren was on the left beside me and Liam stood. I reached out my hand to Kade’s face and touched it, he smiled at me and kissed my hand. I touched Soren as well, and he gave me a soft smile. “Thank you for coming back to us, Aria,” Soren muttered, his eyes glistening with tears. This was the man that they sai

Damon. We got to the Pack just like she said we would, and we used the portal that she opened. I ordered the rest of the soldiers that were in the Silverwolf Pack to retreat, and bring the chopper home. The portal opened in the bedroom of Aria, she was still on the bed, and Soren’s head was on the bed, he was resting. He lifted his head when he heard some sounds and was shocked to find us in the room with a strange-looking lady who didn’t have shoes on. She waved at Soren, and the portal closed up. She made her way down to the bed, and we followed closely. “Alpha Damon.” Soren stared at us. “We brought a witch.” Liam replied, “…she’s here to help Aria, and there’s a chance that she will survive it.” “I heard witches were hard to find and compile with, and how were you able to get one.” “We had no choice, and waited for her to come to us.” Liam sighed and walked to take a seat. “Glad, she wasn’t as harsh as I thought.” “You thought witches are harsh?” She smirked at Liam. “Ai
