Marsai's POV

I felt a hair tendril poke at my chin. I tried to shift my chin in a different direction to move it away but to no avail.

I, at last, had to wake up to see what it was. It was Fenrir's hair.

Turns out we slept closer than I expected but he wasn't laying on me anymore. His face was buried in the pillow and his hair formed a mess around his head, part of it was what tickled my chin.

I rolled away from him since the bed was quite spacious and felt something sharp poke at me. I searched beneath the sheets to see what it was and felt a fork. I took it out and placed it on the bedside drawer before a chuckle left my lips.

I can't believe I had gone from debating whether I should end his life to making love with him.

I really need to get a grip.

The sun had sprawled into the room through one of the double glass windows left opened. It couldn't be the same morning anymore, the brightness that illuminated the room had to be from a near noon sunlight.

I thought about what happen

“What they say doesn't matter, remember that…” Fenrir broke my attention from the voices that came from outside the carriage.“That's not what I'm thinking of. There's a chance I might be more scared of the Witch's verdict than you might be..” I lied. Even though I knew the comments I heard made me question if this was too soon.“Right..” he gulped. We drove out of the walls and took the river bank path, went past the hills, streams, and nomadic farmlands till we got to Flair hill, behind which the Witch's vine thrived.“Well...this place is creepy.” He muttered, as we went down the lane that led to Namilla's residence. There were strange objects that hung down the dry vines of the trees. Some looked like little glass vessels filled with sand, others resembled the bones and teeth of wild animals from extended canines. Others were just threads of cowries. As the light breeze blew, they made disturbing but oddly satisfying clattering noises.“It's a witch's residence, Fenrir. You don

Fenrir's POVI watched the old hag go about her table wrapping up scrolls like she didn't just disrespect me. Like she didn't just curse me to my face. Did she think I didn't already know that I'm cursed?Everyone knows I am cursed. Even a little pup in the Crescent Moon pack and outside of it knows.“Is this the degenerate you said would give me answers, Marsai?” I could have tried to be nicer, and talk to Marsai in a somewhat calmer voice but I was on the edge. With every aura of indifference the witch oozed, I felt the blood rage stirring in my bloodstream.“Fenrir, please let me talk to her..” Marsai pleaded with me. Though I could feel her gentle hand on my arm but her voice was growing distant, too outlying for it to have any effect.I tugged my arm out of her reach, walking slowly towards the witch.“I came here for answers…witch.” I growled out but Namilla looked undisturbed even with every predatory step I took toward her.“What do you want me to tell you, you brute...that

Fenrir's POVThe wind blew steadily through my hair as I got closer to the borders of the Moonbound pack. I had no plans of coming back here this soon but once again, I threw myself into the red lake and it sent me in the direction of my next victim.Victims?..No. This is my birthright.Getting to the borders, I didn't need to sneak in. I was Hawk now, I'm Hawk. I have a rightful claim to the bronze throne of the Moonbound pack and everything there was to claim. Unlike the last time when I came in the closeness of evening and the people were already inside their various sheds doing whatnot, I had the leisure of seeing their blurry faces as I rode by.Trees faded into more faces and faces faded into buildings, and buildings to trees. Marsai and Rudolph were right, under the bright noon sun, the Moonbound pack’s unique architecture could be seen. The way every house was built to a curve, the carvings on their wall. It was like history was written everywhere with every chance they got

Fenrir's POVSilence befell the entire court after they all gasped in unison. I stared at all the pathetic little shit heads beneath me. Hunter had a resigned look, holding onto father's shoulders as he threw daggers at with his eyes.“Oh, old man, stop it...you are making me shy with all those caring looks you keep sending my way..” I laughed sinisterly. I was having a good time, to be honest, maybe I should have done this earlier and had this sweet savoring taste of satisfaction.“You come to my pack, you threaten me in my own court-” “Mine! My pack and my council court! Remember father?" I yelled impulsively, shooting to my feet. “Remember how all of this was supposed to be mine and yet somehow, you gave it all to Hunter because you said I would never be ready, that I would never be strong enough to lead my people. I'm not even going to try and think about how I ended up where I ended up before I was found...that's for another time of daylight” I sat back on the throne.“But the

The entire ride back to the Crescent moon pack filled my head with remorseful memories that shouldn't have happened. I didn't regret killing the witch for insulting me to my face, nor did I blame her for doing so. I mean, I did kill the Alpha she swore allegiance to.But what concerned me most was Marsai. The horror on her face when the rage cleared from my eyes was like a post-nut effect. She was paler than I have ever seen her, like she had just watched a ghost of a dead one come to life. The way she bolted, I just knew deep down, she wasn't going back to Crescent moon pack, not after what I did. The sun was beginning to set and that made me glad. I couldn't face the people if my gut feeling was right and Marsai has really left for good. No…She loved her people. I knew this as a fact, she genuinely cared about them and as their Luna, she wouldn't even try to leave them at a time when they needed her the most. Especially since winter was reaching us.I procrastinated about makin

Fenrir's POVDawn came by quicker than I expected. What was I thinking? Downing three bottles of wine and making the burial ceremony a dawn event. It was too late for me to cancel, besides, it would only take a few minutes to an hour.I felt myself roll off the bed and collided with the wooden floor beneath to force me awake. Not only did it bring me to the land of the wake, it awakened the split migraine that was beating around my head like a headband. I groaned, before flipping myself to face the ceiling. The windows were opened and sunlight poured over half my exposed body.Somewhere last night between jerking off in my private study and dragging myself to the room, and managing to get in bed, I must have disposed of my clothes.I remembered now, I was in full brown coat and I recalled how hot and sweaty it made me feel so I took it off. And the more I took off clothes from my heated body, the better I felt. So I continued till I was only cladded by briefs that wrapped half of m

Fenrir's POV“Next thing is, how would you like to be a Governor?” I stared at him expectantly, waiting for his rants of “thank you, alpha” but nothing came.Rudolph instead, dropped back in his seat with his eyebrows knitted together, deep in thought.“Rudolph, don't hurt your little brain, what troubles you?” I had to ask.“Governor, My lord. What does that do?” He asked, sincerely looking worried. For a moment, I thought he was joking till I realized he had a point. The term governor probably came centuries after this time, that was why he didn't know what the post was. I didn't even know how I got the term, but I seem to understand it. “Oh…” I replied. “Well, it means you generally oversee the people, under my watch, on my behalf. Does that make sense to you?” I asked, to see if he got the logic. He started to nod slowly like his brain was beginning to process the information bit by bit.“So...it's just like being a Beta, only the name is fancier?” He asked, still looking a bi

Fenrir's POV“Alpha Fenrir, I haven't seen your Luna, Lady Marsai around?” Hunter put in the moment when the chance presented itself.A deafening silence filled the room. Both sides of the council stared at me expectantly. Rudolph's eyes widened, Leah looked neutral and Hunter had a questioning look.“She is on a special mission somewhere far away. If anyone mentions my Luna’s name or anything about her whereabouts again, he/she will be penalized as an enemy of the districts. I mean, whose wife is she in the first place?” I stared at them with a challenging look, daring any of them to say otherwise.“Okay. You are all dismissed. Hunter, stay back and meet me in my study.” I gingerly left the crowd I had called together till Hunter called out my name.“Haw- Alpha Fenrir..” Hunter corrected himself, pushing his chair back to rise to his feet, causing it to make an unpleasant sound to the sensitive ears around the room. “I actually don't know where you study…” Hunter stuttered, the ner

Marsai's POV “Yes, child. To be specific, it is coming from inside of you.” He pointed to my belle. I stared at my own goddamn stomach. It looked just fine to me from the layers of clothes I was wearing. Then I looked back at him. There was nothing to say or do than to stare at each other for quite some time. I sighed and slouched my back, tired of the repetitive problems that kept coming after me. Everyone just did what they wanted to do to me without caring for the consequences. Why? Was it because I was too available or my heart was good to a fault? “Why is this happening to me..” I almost choked from the lump of tears that slipped down my right cheek. Why was it that I just had to be crowned with the edge of bad timing? Once again, there was no one to blame but Fenrir. In a flip second, Imon was up on his feet, sitting next to me. A comforting hand rubbed gently against my back as I felt him lower his head closer to my ears. “Don't be sad, child. You should feel honored.

  • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   The Truth II

Marsai's POV “Because You think loudly with your body...Just like Namilla.” He mentioned, staring me straight in the eye. “I never knew Namilla on a personal level, she was good to me and she taught me to see the good in everyone regardless of the evil in the world.” I replied without stuttering. All of these things were true. When my father rescued Namilla even against the wishes of his fellow comrades, he brought her back not just to the infirmary but to the private infirmary that was unique to the Alpha quarters. I was only but a child, so I had no idea who she was, or why the maids and doctors walked on eggshells when they were around her. It was said to be the first time anyone from my Pack has seen a real-life witch aside from all of the folktales we were told about the other creatures of the Dark around us. I decided to personally spend time with Namilla. At first, she was grungy and wouldn't say a word for an entire day while I would tell her all the details of my play d

  • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   The Truth

Marsai's POV “Are you ready to see our leader now?” Grace asked. Her hands folded elegantly in front of her, her expression once again, very stoic that it brought down the temperature around me. I nodded because my tongue felt like it was glued to the roof of my mouth. I took in the scenery around me, the white light and the distant crack in the bonfire who's glow could be spotted from here. If this was my last night here, I would definitely not regret this moment. “This way…” she ushered me up front first before joining me by my side. We walked in silence.I used my Hunter prey technique but I realized that Grace's foot never made a sound as we walked. “It's the moss.” Grace chuckled, shaking her head side to side. “What?” I asked her, feeling even more confused.“You were wondering why our feet weren't making any noise. Well, it is the moss. They are said to be great sound shock absorbers.”I would be lying if I said that I heard every word she said, all I kept wondering was

  • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   Touring the coven

Marsai's POV We exited the tent and stepped outside. A teenage boy came towards us with a cup filled with water and a small bowl of milk. He gave it to Grace and then gave me a once-over. Curiosity shone clear in his orbs. I was sure it was because he could tell I wasn't from around here so he left gingerly, joining a group of kids that resembled his age range. “That's Ace. He is 12, yet he practices magic spells twice his age. His parents died when he was four from the witch hunt attack by delusional humans…” Grace told me as she handed the cup of water over to me. A lot of questions filled up my head. One was, why was she telling me all of this? Two, did I need to know that piece of information and why was it important? But all of that could wait. I had water to drink from a cup I knew was not gonna be enough and milk from a bowl or the fact that I didn't need to wear any sandals because there was a soft moss carpet that ran through the entire area around me. The entire place f

  • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   Awake in another world

Marsai's POV Fenrir…Just mentioning his name made me understand that I was really capable of hate. My father's words echoed in my head. “Hate and love aren't on the opposite side. In fact, they follow each other. If you love someone enough to not hate them, you can hate someone enough and still love them. Both emotions come hand in hand because if you love how they make you feel, you would eventually come to hate how they make you feel.” Then, of course it made zero fucking sense. How could you love and hate simultaneously? Now I understand it. Even as the last images of Fenrir punching a hole in Namilla's face terrified me into my sleep, I still in some messed up way managed to see things from his point of view. I shook my head aggressively from side to side. Now isn't the time to be thinking about that monster, you need to get out of here.I reminded myself of my current challenge. I recalled the snakes in the pot and then the unfortunate man who had tricked me with it. The

Elena's POV “Shit…”I looked away as fast as I could, my palm still wrapped around his warm moist cock. I could feel my entire inside melting into a goo of confusion. The center of my legs began to feel hot and moist. “Elena, you can let go of my shaft now.” I heard him say in one of the most monotonous voices I have ever heard. “I'm so so-” “Don't make it any more awkward than it already is. But before that, first things first, why are you here? Who asked you to come here?” Fenrir didn't blink or stutter. His cold voice caused a ripple of fear and anxiety to dress up my spine down to my arm. “No-no one…” I fidgeted. His stans didn't waver as he only came closer to me, his glare becoming more menacing than ever. “I don't stutter. I also don't like to delay my victim's death so when I ask you a question, do not stutter and tell me the answer like it is or I would end up slapping your head off your neck till your skull is gliding in a pool of your own blood.” His cold demeanor onl

  • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   Fighting the fog

Fenrir's POV The last scream fueled my legs with an adrenaline boost, pushing me out of the door into the very chilly night air. I looked around me, there was fog lurking around every corner yet, they stayed out of the reach of this very restaurant. It made me feel a bit reluctant to move away from the building, now that I saw it as a safe haven. “ELENA!!” I bellowed into the night like a mad man in search of his one piece of coin he was never going to find. I heard the cry for help and pain in her voice. There was no way the wine was making me imagine things. “Elena!!” I tried again. Less of my energy was involved this time as I concentrated my smelling senses into the night air.My head swayed a bit, causing me to stumble and stop. Something was messing with my head and it reminded me of the time when I was back in my room at the Alpha quarters. The way the nightmare felt so real I couldn't believe it was all a dream. Only to wake up and find myself drenched in sweat and my win

  • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   Where the hell is Elena?

Elena's POV I must have underestimated just exactly how far the outskirt of the Pack was. I was so used to moving around with carriages from the Beta and Alpha house, I forgot just how big the Pack was. I senselessly embarked on this journey thinking I could keep close tabs on Fenrir so that when he was alone and eating, I would be able to console him. I so badly wanted that, the feeling of being there for him that I missed the whole point of the curfew...to stay indoors, away from the monsters that lurked just outside. Yet, here I was, outside. The last time I remembered seeing the back of Alpha Fenrir's white cotton shirt, I wasn't even half way through the Pack. It was almost dark now, the sun setting was almost at my eye level. The reality of the situation I just threw myself into was starting to dawn on me. I was too far into the pack now to give up and I was too far from home. If I decided to leave, turn around for the safety of the beta house, I would likely be killed or

Fenrir's POV She wanted more, so I gave her. I rammed into her harder than ever. I could feel the hot sensation on my thighs, telling me how hard I have been going without breaks. Her body began to shake, but it didn't stop her from throwing back her ass every time to meet my hard thrust. Three to six more thrusting at an even faster pace, and she began to tremble, her moans got louder till she was gripping the sheets for her dare life. Withdrew my shaft just before my seeds began to leak, throwing it all over her bed. It was very merciful and steamy, but I was relieved at last. Standing up from the position I had taken on beside the bed, I stood towering over everything else in the room. I looked outside, it was dark, like pitch black. My skin waited for the chills to crip in, then the paranoia but nothing came. Not even a single breeze.“I think it's time to check the food.” I huffed out as I wore back my clothes. They felt even warmer against my skin. It made me crave the tend
