chapter seventy one

Dylan held her until her cries subsided. Anna raised her head from his chest and then wiped her tears away.

“Do you feel better?” Dylan asked her but she couldn't look up at him she was so embarrassed at how she acted and then for also crying in front of him.

“Look at me, Anastasia.” Dylan put his hand under her jaw and raised her head.

“I'm sorry for the way I talked to you and for crying, please can we forget that any of this happened?” Anna asked him.

“No, I can't forget it because you were right. Come let's sit down.” Dylan took her hand and they both walked towards Anna's bed and sat down and when they got there Dylan still held on to her hand.

“Everything you said had a valid point. I did bring you to an unknown country and then I left you alone for three days without a word. I'm sorry Anastasia, this whole thing that happened at work is serious but it's not an excuse, you were right, it wouldn't kill me to take five minutes off my time
