Liam POV

Having such a genius as my daughter should be counted as the biggest flex in my life. Just as planned, the surprise party turned out to be the best decision I've ever made, and I couldn't be more than excited that it turned out well.

The party went successful, and seeing the smiles on Aliyah's face earlier made me excited. We danced together, and I couldn't deny that I missed us so much.

We left the party quite late and since she couldn't go back to her house, I had to drive us to my apartment as it was close by and because Nancy insisted that they spend the night with me. My mom was the happiest woman on earth when Aliyah came around and she did her best to impress her, and guess the crazy thing she did? She made Nancy sleep in her room just so I and Aliyah would have space to talk alone in my room.
