The Beginning

A boy was talking to the little girl with a warm smile on her. Suddenly, the world turned pitch black and there was not at all any light emanating into the little girl’s world. There was a shadow and a voice in the boy that was heard crying that haunted her and the boy saw the little girl. The little girl’s heart somehow felt the deep enough tightness she had felt when she saw the boy.

There was an alarm ringing from a girl’s room. Upon hearing the sound, the long-haired, tanned girl with a light brown eye color suddenly wakes up from her sleep and sweats her face.

Evelina rushes away from her parents because she is uncomfortable seeing her father’s behavior. Then she closed the door of her house.

“Sorry for making you wait,” Evelina said.

“No, really. As usual, your father is too possessive. Wkwk ...,” Rissa said with a chuckle.

“Hahaha ... that’s my father,” said Evelina, who is still unfamiliar with her father’s behavior.

After that, they went to school together. During the walk to their new school, Rissa immediately grabs Evelina’s hand. Evelina replies with a smile to her best friend. She’s used to Rissa’s sticky behavior towards her.

Arriving at their new school, the two girls attended a new student admission ceremony which is a tradition of this school, Codeland High School. The principal gave a first-year student a pre-graduate form of Codeland High School. After the headmaster has finished giving a speech, now allows representatives from the first year who are usually represented by the first rank on the school entrance exam.

The representative also arrived on the main stage, the student was already standing on the main stage. He is a handsome silver-haired man with jewel blue eyes. The man has reached the first rank and his name is Nox Cyril. Then, the man introduces himself and gives a speech thanking him for being accepted to Codeland High School.

The students at this school start to make a fuss when Nox makes a speech because he is the son of Cyril’s very influential family in this city, Lefko, and also his face is very handsome.

“Not, really. Eve, don’t get interested in that guy! Even though he’s seen smiling, it’s just his fake smile and his good nature is just a lie. He’s actually a cruel person and has a bad personality,” Rissa murmured.

“All right. You’re just like my dad,” Evelina said with a thin smile.

Midway through Nox’s speech, the man suddenly pauses when he sees Evelina. Evelina sees Nox looking at her.

“Who did he see? There’s no way I am, right? Most just my feelings,” Evelina asked in her heart.

Then, Nox resumed his speech and it all went smoothly. The students, teachers, and principals were flattered by his speech.

The ceremony was over, the students scattered themselves. Then, the new students saw the list of classes on the bulletin board. They want to know which class each of them is in. Evelina, who had just come from the toilet, rushed to see her class list. Then, Rissa comes to Evelina after seeing the notice board.

Evelina smiles, she is happy that her first year can be one class with Rissa. Because she is always calm when she is with Rissa who is her own best friend. They went to class, which is grade 1-4.

“How do we go to the library?” asks Rissa.

Rissa, who knows Evelina likes books, invites her to the library to make amends. Evelina nodded and forgave her for taking her to the library. Arriving at the library, Evelina’s eyes twinkle because many books are unique and have never been read at all. Evelina borrows many books, Rissa offers help to Evelina and them while walking.

“Eve ... you like books too much. Isn’t this too much?” asked Rissa.

“Hmm ... I don’t like books, but I like reference material in books that can be researched.”

At the time, Nox and Franss were together. They were walking down the school hallway, they were best friends since childhood. This familiar feeling Nox felt while holding Evelina and staring at the girl. Later, Evelina wakes up and she stands up, after falling. Nox saw her face similar to the one he knew and mentioned her name. “Evelina?” called Nox.

Nox still holds her hand, they stare at each other. Then came the nostalgic feeling he missed, when looking at each other.
