Chapter 1: Patricia

Another misty morning in Moover City indicates that Christmas is approaching as Patricia Wright, the 20-year-old girl is preparing to go to school. She is currently in her second year of college with a course in Business Management, studying at one of the well-known schools in Moover City, "The Hale University" owned by Acceturo. As the matter of fact in the current situation of their family, they couldn't afford to let her study at that kind of University but she tried everything she can to take the entrance examination and luckily she passed it. Aside from that, she is overqualified for the scholarship in short she is an intelligent little girl.

She is a very adventurous girl who wants to try new things because she is too young. Patty has the ideal height of 5'7 and a well-proportioned slender body that matches her height. Some people mistook her for a supermodel but she ignores it. Her priority in life is to graduate, work and help her parents. Her bouncy and smooth black hair is accentuated by her round baby face, glossy skin, slender eyebrows, dainty nose, and wasp-waisted. And the most captivating in her is her blue-colored tantalizing eyes. Some say that eyes are the window of souls, as Patty took a glance at people she can convey meaning into her thoughts with just a simple gaze.   

The Wright Family is one of the middle-class families in Moover City, his father is a struggling businessman. They have a little textile factory that his father is managing. Enough to support their family, she has an older sister named Lorren, who is 25 years old, she also has a beautiful face just like her but the only difference between them is their height. She is shorter than her by 6 inches. Lorren is working in their textile business as a Production Manager, she oversees the production process of the company, ensuring production is cost-effective, drawing up a production schedule, and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality. Working out human and material resources needed, drafting and as well as estimating the cost, and setting the quality standard of the business. Her position is not as high as their father but I can say that she already has a part in the success of their business.

And that is something she dreams of doing it too for their family.

"Patty, come down and eat breakfast now... Your dad will gonna drop you at your school!" Her mother Layla shouted from the kitchen. They can easily hear because their house is just a little without soundproofing. Their house is a modern bungalow with three rooms, a mini kitchen, and a comfort room.

" Coming, Mom!" She answered, lifting her bag and coming down from her room. As she passes by her sister's room who is also tidying up and preparing to go to work. "Hey, Lori! let's eat breakfast now!" She muttered as she saw her putting on her makeup, that's the difference between them her sister care too much about appearance while hers is not fond of make-up.

"You go first I'll just follow after." Patty shakes her head as the thought crosses her mind.

"Alright!" She responded and go down to the table...

Her mother is busy preparing their breakfast when she went to the kitchen to greet her. She went near to kiss her to say "Good morning to her". She can smell the aroma of coffee that her father has, making her hungry for time being. Just as she was about to hug mom, her stomach grumbled loudly even her father looks at her as if she did a very wrong deed. 

"Good Morning too..." Layla answered back while she was about to go and put the dishes she prepared on the table.

"What's for breakfast?" Patty asks as she hugs her mom from behind.

"Pancakes, omelet, bacon, and buns" she was about to taste a little but her mom pinches her hand...

"Go and wash your hands first!" Layla said to her daughter.

She immediately followed her mother and went to the table as her father was seated on the dining table's center side holding a magazine while seeping his coffee. Seconds later Lori is approaching, seated next to Patty. She focused on the dish that was in front of them bowing her head down as she was silently eating her fill. She is a foodie since she was a child. Her parents have no problem raising her since she is easy to please. 

Lori is her opposite, she is a health-conscious one. She dresses elegantly while she preferred a t-shirt and jeans just like a middle school girl. But her feature doesn't change she looks ravishing in it. 

"Dad, you go first to the company... Someone will come and pick me up, we will come to the company together." Lori informed her father, and his father Gustavo suddenly stop eating as he was gloomily looking at her daughter.

"Tell me, who will come to fetch you?" Gustavo can't hide the disagreement visible on his face. 

"Joey Cast, Dad don't scare him away, please!" Lori reminded him as Mr. Wright lost his appetite already. He was about to stand up when someone is knocking on their door, Lori immediately catches the conversation and volunteer to go and open the door.

It was Joey,

"Hello, Good morning!" Joey greeted as he saw Lori standing at the door.

" Hey! Come inside..." She politely said, sit down she stretches her hand hinting that he'll wait in the living room.

Since their place is not that spacious Joey immediately saw the whole family eating breakfast, he greeted all of them, especially Mr. and Mrs. Wright.

"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Wright!" Joey greeted them humbly.

Mr. Wright nodded and changed the mood of the day immediately, a while ago it was warm and harmonious but when Joey arrived the atmosphere became stiff immediately. Patty never minds them and continuously stuffed food in her mouth. As she was choking on her food her mom saw what she did and immediately gave her a glass of water. She was coughing non-stop.

"Silly child!" Her mom said "Can't you be more cautious... We have a lot you don't need to stuff it to your mouth as if somebody will get it!" she murmured.

"I was frightened by Dad's look!" Patty said as she was looking at her father. "Stop it, Dad, you look scary! Lori is at the right age now... Why worry too much?"

"Don't talk, just eat!" his father looks at her with a sharp glance so she decided to remain silent.

After their breakfast, Lori and Joey went out together and he drops her off at our company while Dad takes me to the University before he went to the company. After getting off in my Dad's car. Jenny is already at the entrance of our school and trusts me she is just on time for our 1st subject.

"Patty! What took you so long?" Irritation can be seen on her beautiful face.

"C'mon don't be angry... It's early in the morning, don't spoil the day please!" She exclaimed.

"I waited for 1 hour! For God's sake!" Patty look at her and said.

"I'm sorry it won't happen again.." she sincerely muttered.

And they walk to their respective classrooms. 

As they are walking they passed by the group of teachers gossiping about the upcoming foundation day of the school.

The foundation day of Hale University was held one day before New Year's Eve. And it's an opportunity for the student to bring out their talents because they will be filled with exciting events that will be held in the University itself.

Many of the students who won the games will have a chance to win different prizes like gadgets and cash prizes.

"Patty, you're going to compete in the chess competition again?" Jenny urged her.

"I don't know..." Patty answered as she is not interested at all.

"C'mon we both know you need the prize too," Jen told her, she looks at her.

She indeed need that prize, while Jenny was filthy rich. And because she wore shabby clothes just like her she was always the victim of bullying. But because I save her one time we became best of friends, Jenny is a simple girl, and even tho she has everything she never has air in her body.

She never brings out a topic about her, Patty will just wait until she is ready to tell her about her real identity. And besides, she trusted her no doubt about that.

"I will make sure to be beautiful at that event! So the Acceturos will glance at me... Who knows one of them will take a glance at me! And be one of their brides-to-be!" One of Patty's teachers said.

Both she and Jenny were shocked to hear that from their respected teacher. They didn't expect her to be that fetish, well she's still young too. But she dreamed too much! Accenture's are as mighty as a King. How will they give her a glance let alone marry her? In her  Dreams!
