Chapter 4: Country Z

Why is it that they are all eager to make this New Year Reunion happens? When the whole clan has no future at all? Reunion with them is a disaster. All of them are busy with their own stuff and not only that the family has its own selfish intentions.

Zandro is already done eating his dinner at the Bro's as he was talking to Marky about a lot of things.

"Get ready for tomorrow were heading home for a weak or two..." Zandro murmured as he was tipsy at the moment. They decided to drink a little since Zandro must be free for the time being. Lucky for the people who can invite him to drink liquor... He is Zandro David Accetturo for pit sake! All people wish to have a little time with him... But he is just a dream for the common people but in Marky's case, he wants to take a break from his present... Being with him is really a suicide attempt! Is he planning something again and he invited me to go with him to Country Z?

"Aahhmmm! Im busy... You know New Year is approaching and there's a lot of work I need to be done before it..." he looks at him reading his thoughts but he is expressionless so he can't see through him! Darn it! He never wins against him.

"Don't give me that reason! Do everything you can do now and you're coming with me tomorrow! That's final." As he was jutting out a bossy aura, an aura that was prominent to the Acceturo's.

"I'm gonna kill myself now! I just can't do that... If you tell me earlier than today then it's settled already..." Marky answered him.

" You have a lot of time! You just don't want to come..." Zandro observed him attentively.

Marky knows that being with the whole clan of the Acceturo's is like courting death to your own life. And his life is the most important to him for now because he hasn't experience being in love yet! Who hasn't huh?!

Actually, they are the weirdest family I've encountered, however, Zandro is a cold and arrogant person but he is more likely a person that you will hate at first and fall for after. He has the ability to manipulate a person but he is kind to his subordinates.

Many of his employees preferred to work with him because they know how he works hard because they witness it and when it comes to their salary it's always the priority of the company. He knows how to gives back the hard work that his employees doing to his company. He always gives them appreciation by granting promotions or trips to other countries to make them more determined to do their work.

He is a ruthless and cold-blooded man but when it comes to his employees he has a heart for those who are doing their best for their work. The company became at its peak of popularity because of its branch's hard work. And enough to say he is the most sought CEO this time.

"You go first, I'll just follow after 2 days..." Marky told him.

"Be sure to come after 2 days! If not, say goodbye to the Bro's." Zandro said seriously.

"Are you serious?" Marky response.

"What do you think?!" Zandro gave him a calculating look.

"I don't think so.." Marky response back as he was about to say something but remained silent about discussions.

"What was the reunion for?" Marky's follow-up question again.

"I don't know! I don't have any idea about it." Zandro answered sincerely.

"No offense but your family is weird sometimes, they might cook up something on their sleeves again, What do you think?" This time Zandro change his mood to "cannot be messed with a look" Zandro gave him a condemning look makes him shivers down the spine.

“Don’t make me force you to come with me! Want me to throw you to Country L?” Marky swallowed unintentionally when he heard Country L.

“NO NO NO! You… Are you serious?!” Marky looks at him directly in the eyes reads what his thinking but as usual he is hard to see through… He just sighs in defeat…

“Do I look like joking?” Zandro said threatening him…

“Fine! It’s a deal im coming! Are you happy now?” Marky said accepting defeat from his friend, when will he win against him anyway! He always has a way to make him bow in defeat.

“Then it’s settled!” Zandro stands up in his seat preparing to go out and headed home, as he walks his bodyguards lined up from the side to make him pass, he was like a king emitting the aura of an Accetturo. And Marky got nothing to do but to look at his back until they are gone.

Marky got nothing to do but to accept his invitation. He doesn’t want to be thrown to Country L for God’s sake! Country L is the place where Zandro’s uncle named Walter Acceturo. And that place is similar to East Asia when it comes to its system, it’s a dictatorship, socialist state, and a one-party state. Being there is suicide to anyone who wants it.

They said that Walter established a good status in that place but only for his own interest! Their family is on the verge of being divided because of self-interest. And Marky didn’t want to meet Walter as much as possible… Walter is Uncle Mariano’s only brother they are close before but it says that since he went to Country L, he became distant to everyone in their clan. The reason is concealed by their family alone. Any news that is related to the family has been deleted completely.

Thats the power of being part of the most influential clan but there is also a disadvantage and they always followed by a lot of eyes everywhere. Thats the reason why Zandro chose to become a loner when they are in middle school. It is because some of our classmates are avoiding him, they are scared to offend him just because his family is well known.

But as Zandro growing up he tried to not mind his last name because he sees it as cursed! Because of being an Acceturo he never experiences being a normal kid. People treated him as the most important person in society, he was getting used to it but the worst part in that. He never had a chance to enjoy being a kid. He makes millions of money in his early years.

And it was never a normal life for Zandro.

While success means a different thing to him, being live like an ordinary one is his dream but it was impossible for him. In his status, “success” means different things to different people---- and should---- wealth often factors somewhere into the equation.

So what makes him think differently? It is because he has tended to be, more introverted---- make sense. He believes that introverts can be wildly successful and it is what he is now. Zandro is more conscientious, he always makes smarts decisions, focusing on the long-term goal and setting a good example.

His more emotionally stable for now, obviously: Making emotional decisions can derail a person’s progress toward a long-term goal. He also believes that being less neurotic is much better.

He has a lot of self-control, if not it is hard to be successful as he might be. And he has an attitude of being self-centered at times but he is the so-called humble narcissist he has very high expectations when it comes to his business and even his employees, that's the reason why his company became the most leading business in the whole country. And he believes that great achievements are almost always the result of collective efforts.

Thats the reason why Marky stays at his side even though others avoiding him, Zandro has the courage to change his beliefs. And he will stay by his side forever, they are like brothers now. Thanks to destiny and they found each other as friends.

Through thick and thin it is...

Zandro can be a role model of their age because of his achievements at such an early age which can be proud of, but on who can he dedicate this success? He didn't have a girlfriend! Like his friend, he can't avoid wondering why! Did he hurt once? However, his brother Xavier has a lot of flings...

Marky just shrugged at the idea... Zandro will open up to him soon...
