Chapter 48: Forgiveness

When he called me in the middle of the day about the dinner, I told him to take away from Emily-West Village of Lower Manhattan because I love their Pizzas and wanted him to try them too. He arrived on time as I was freshened up and exited from my room. We ate our food in a comfortable silence. He, commented on food and me, telling him about how I first got to know about them and also how I met Saira there for the first time. After doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen, we sat down at the dining table and drank a delicious wine.

After finishing our drinks at the same time, Alexander only stared at me until I got all uncomfortable and nervous. Not that I wasn’t all that before, but he’s getting me in an even worse state.

He suddenly stood up. “Come.” He said and stuck his hand out for me to take. My eyes dropped on it and I stared at it for some long seconds, before I reluctantly took it.
