TERRA'S POV:

ARRIVAL DAY:

“Careful sweetie.” I turned to say to Eleanour who was excited while I on the other hand was on edge. As soon as we alighted out of the airplane, it turns out Miss Mary had ordered one of the security guards, Cren, to come with us. According to him, he had told me but it turns out I wasn't paying attention. But I was certain that I would hear if he said something like that and it made me suspicious. But he looked like he had worked for the president or like an executive, as he was just going straight to business.

Most of my security guards looked so alike, always dressed in a black on black attire wearing black glasses as well, like secret agents. They were built and muscular except for only a few. I shook off negative thoughts, afterall we usually traveled with at least security personnel but I didn't this time, because I was staying here longer and I already hired staff here.

Being back in this airport felt surreal, the last time I had been here, I was in

TERRA'S POV:LATER THAT DAY:After dinner, the kids had fallen asleep after being extremely exhausted. By their whispers after we arrived, I'm certain Eric was filling in with Eleanour during our discussion last night and after the frozen yogurt, Eleanor wasn't angry with me anymore. I just had the habit of ignoring them when I was too tired or my mind was too occupied. Cren had also been fed and given a room and after much protest after he had said that he couldn't sleep since it was his duty to protect me and the kids, he eventually went to bed. There were dark circles forming under his eye after he took off his glasses, I had seen it.I couldn't help but admire their mansion. It was spectacular, they had a bunch of maids who were literally begging to be given something to do, their mansion was huge with at least seven rooms, with two sitting rooms. The dining table was beautiful with about seven seats as well. I had not been given a thorough home tour but from what I could see it w

3RD POV:FIVE DAYS LATER:Ross was seated in a five star restaurant at the rooftop of the restaurant, from where he sat he could see the whole state and it's beauty and he was truly dazzled by it. By his facial expression however, one could not tell. He looked rather impatient and he kept glancing at his watch, but declined the attempt of waiters and waitresses who offered to take his order.Even the look on his face scared the staff. But overall, he was a sight for sore eyes and the waitresses talked about his captivating appearance. He was waiting for a beautiful woman he was having dinner with and she was over fifteen minutes late making him somewhat anxious and impatient. He was already regretting a lot of things as he sat down and the conversation he had with Grandpa Philip played in his head.Grandpa Philip had stopped by Ross's huge mansion and rather than heading inside, he called Ross to come meet him in the car. “Hey Grandpa.” Ross greeted as soon as he entered into the ca

She transformed herself after that break up to the icon she was now.“I have another theory on this artwork but I'm guessing you're the artist behind this.” He pointed out and she hummed delighted that he was talking to her, she had so much of how he was a snub and was rude.“I would love to hear what you think, Mr Anderson.” She engaged the conversation standing next to him in a green long sleeve hand cotton gown which was long stopped around her legs and hugged her body perfectly making her comfortable. It was the best option for her exhibition. “I think his posture and kneeling conveys defeat. His facial expression while many would interpret it as determination, I'd suggest that he is just tired and let life go however it wants to. He's not happy neither is he sad, he's just over everythin

ROSS'S POV:THAT SAME NIGHT:I just arrived at the bar Jeremy and Chandler were at and to my surprise, Tony Lauder was seated there as well laughing hard. They saw me from afar and Jeremy waved, I strolled towards them ignoring looks from other people who were there as well. I was displeased seeing Tony Lauder as his energy and the words that came out of his mouth, portrayed him as a jerk, a scumbag and a man who played with women. The only reason I still gave him some ounce of respect was because he still respected his wife based on what I had heard and he was a good businessman.“What's up? For a moment there I thought you weren't coming.” Jeremy and I shook hands in a way we have been doing since we were younger. So did Chandler who seemed to be in an awful mood.“I had to meet up with someone.” I informed them as I took a seat. I gave Tony a head nod as a form of greeting and he smiled faintly.Jeremy looked at me suspiciously with a hint of amusement and I chuckled, shaking my h

ROSS'S POV:“Her name is Louisiana, and we are just…..friends.” It felt weird calling her a friend as not everyone could be referred to as my friend even Nina was just an ex more than a childhood friend.Chandler and Jeremy looked at me with wide eyes. “This is a good start! You're going to be able to finally move on with someone new.” Jeremy suggested with his tone hopeful that he was right and the three men looked at me while I furrowed my eyebrow.“So close.” Chandler sighed and Jeremy exhaled loudly.“She's truly just going to be a friend, I don't know what's going to happen in the future but….” I wanted to tell them that my heart and being belonged to a woman whom I may never see or get to hold again but this wasn't the time nor the place to be pouring my heart. Plus they would just laugh it out or look at me with sadness expressing how hopeless my case was.Chandler often vocally shared that he feared that I would die a rich old man in my mansion without having kids or anyone n

  • Mission To Remarry My Unbeatable Ex-wife   A Mother's Image

NINA'S POV:THAT MORNING:I drove back to the mansion with tears rolling down my cheeks. I was so sad that I had almost called one of the few men who were still interested in me, he was a middle class man who promised to provide me with the bare minimum. He was also not a good looking man but he wasn't ugly, he had nothing that could be attractive to a woman of my standards. The minute I tried to picture a life with him, I saw struggles and hardship all the way with my mother as a jest. It was so horrible that I wanted to punish myself for even thinking about it.I thought about going to see Mrs Anderson but I just wanted to speak to my mother and seek her advice. I knew a life without Ross was a life of pain, humiliation and sadness, so I knew there was no such thing as giving up on him. My action today was simply a tactic I hoped will work in making him feel bad, and come to me at least just this one time.As I arrived in the quiet almost empty mansion, I sniffled and cleaned my eye

NINA'S POV:“Hello? Are you still there?” Ross asked and I quickly responded, “Yes!” I mentally cursed myself from showing how excited I was so I cleared my throat before speaking again.“Yes. I appreciate you for apologizing. I just want you to know that everything I do is tailored to just show you how much I love you and how I always want no one aside from you. I know you aren't interested because of the past, but maybe we can at least start on a clean slate and try to make things work? You don't have to reply right now, we will just take things at a time.” My voice was so soft, I had read that I needed to tap into my feminine energy more in order to get a real man like Ross.Though literally asking him out wasn't me tapping into my feminine energy at least my soft voice, pretty outlook and acting like a cute child should help. Right? “We will take things at a time. I have to go now, we will talk later.” My heart smiled and I was about to say Goodbye but he had already hung up. I

Tomorrow, however, was going to be a big day which I had taken a lot of things into consideration before accepting to do it. It was the most crucial agenda which would serve as a huge determinant. There was a press conference in which I, as the Chair Lady of the Williams company, would be addressing all pressing matters. Later tonight?” I suggested and he heaved out a sigh, obviously displeased at the fact that I was headed to Nina's trial but I needed to be there. I just had the need. They had been able to give the old woman and her grandson the sum of a million for their help in finding Nina and the family was given the media space to be able to show their appreciation to Ross and Terra, letting them know it will go a long way in pulling them out of the hand to mouth lifestyle they had been living especially since the grandmother was single handedly raising the boy.“Mummy.” Eric called out from his bed with droopy eyes, and she waved at him with a smile trying her best not to wake Eleanour who was finding it hard to close her eyes.Eric was not shot neither was Ross but Terra still requested he stayed

3RD POV:AN HOUR LATER:Asian was drained and tired but she took great compassion on the twins especially Eleanour, seeing her as a young version of Amber who was sad and always needed her. Which is why she was more than happy when she saw that Nina had left a glass cup on a high table where farmers usually kept stuff for their animals and it was next to them. Her plan was simple, hit it repeatedly till the glass shatters to the floor, afterwards she would move in her seat and with her back facing away, she would hand Eric the glass to unloose the ropes on his hands carefully, afterwards he would unloose both hers and Eleanours. Then they run out to the nearest farm or police station and get help. And safe! This is a solid plan after all …I can do it, what could possibly go wrong? TERRA'S POV:A DAY LATER:It had been more than 35 hours since I had last seen my kids and since the kidnapping. A flier with Nina's face had been posted everywhere and according to my friends and Fiona, the entire police force was working on it.But it was just Nina….what was so hard about finding and capturing her?I had just been numb, and I could neither eat nor sleep. Last night, when I couldn't sleep, I snuck out in my own mansion in order to prevent Evelyn, who was literally everywhere, from waking up. I drove in one of my old sports cars, which allowed the cool night breeze to run through my body and blow away the tears which kept flowing and I drove to weird looking areas, banishing the thought that I might be robbed, and showed them images of Nina if they had come across her but they had nothing.A particularly shabby looking man asked for some money before providing answers, feigning that he recognised her and as soon as I handed him money, he tucked it into his pocket and
