Chapter 2

After talking to the doctor, they entered Atasha's room and saw her sleeping soundly. Her mother was crying while holding her hand. She feels mixed emotions. When she found out what Atasha had done before, she blamed herself because she was the one who pushed her daughter to do what she really did not want until it led to such a situation.

All she wants is to see her daughter happy before she disappears from the world.

“Auntie, I told you she was pregnant. Even though she is not vomiting or conceiving, I can see the change in her body.” Grace said to Atasha's mom. 

Atasha's mother held her hand and smiled at her.

“You know Grace, I am very happy. I can say that what happened to that man and my daughter was not an accident. I think God has a plan for them, not just now but soon.”

Grace smiled because of what she said but her boyfriend Renz got their attention when he spoke.

“Auntie Sha-sha is with them.” There, the two looked behind them.

“Oh yes! Hi there! By the way, I am Sha-sha's best friend Grace.” she said with a smile which made Ally and Eldrith smile as they looked at each other and approached them.

“This is my fiancé, Renz.” The two smiled and shook hands with them.

“I am Sha-sha's mother.”

“Nice to meet you, Sha-sha and I are friends. We are clients, but we consider her as a friend. I am Ally and he's my fiancé, Eldrith.” Ally said with a smile and hugged Atasha's mom.

“Wahh! Sha-sha’s friend is my friend also! She really knows how to choose beautiful and handsome,” she then winked at them that made them laughed. 

“Actually, we had a meeting with Sha-sha today, but when she came back, she suddenly passed out.” Eldrith said.

“Oh! You are the ones she says she will eat with! I always visit Sha-sha because she is neglecting herself and was so busy at work that we did not even know she was pregnant.” Grace answered.

“Why didn't I know that?” Atasha's mom said that Grace swallowed and didn't know what to say, she looked to her boyfriend for help.

“A-ah, it's because—”

“Auntie, we didn't fail to remind her, but you know Sha-sha is stubborn when she really wants to do something.”

Atasha's mother sighed because of that. She knows her daughter and Renz is right because Atasha is a workaholic. They were silent for a moment because of that until Eldrith broke the silence.

“Can I ask? Where is Sha-sha's Boyfriend, wasn't he the first one you should have called?” They were stunned and looked at each other because of Eldrith's question.

“The truth is that Sha-sha doesn't have a boyfriend.” Renz said making the two frowns.

“Nothing? How did she get pregnant without it?” Ally said that Eldrith held her because of her too personal question.

“Honey, slowly in asking questions. I'm sorry, we're just concerned about Sha-sha and it's fine if you don't tell us.” Eldrith said shyly but Atasha's mom just shook her head.

“No, it is okay, after all you are friends with my daughter, you should know. Let's sit down first and I'll tell the story.”

They all sat on the sofa and their conversation lasted for a few minutes. While the two were surprised by what they found out.

"Why didn't she call the police?! What he did was wrong!” Ally said angrily.

“I also asked her but she said it was not necessary because he also liked what happened.” Atasha's Mama said so calmly that Ally was quiet because of that.

“If he wanted too, why did he run away?” Eldrith asked seriously as they looked at him.

“She is said to be surrounded by shame. I do not know why but that's what pushed her to do that.” Grace said as the two lovers nodded.

“We went there earlier to tell Sha-sha that our marriage will not continue, especially now that we found out that she is pregnant. I want Sha-sha to be my bride's maid.”

Grace's eyes widened because of what Ally said.

“OMG! Bride's maid?! First time! Because in one year of her managing weddings, she really wanted to be a bride's maid. Renz and I were planning and saving so we won't get married first.” Grace said happily which made Ally and Eldrith happy.

“Really?” Ally smiled reassuringly

“Really, really!”

“Oh! Honey, Sha-sha will be happy.” Ally smiled at Eldrith who nodded as the young man smiled at his girlfriend.

“Hijo, hija, it's not good to go back and forth in marriage, especially if you've started it and you should continue because that's superstition.”

The lovers were stunned and looked at Atasha's mother until they realized what she said and did nothing but nod.

“Alright, we'll talk to Sha-sha when she wakes up.” Eldrith said making them smile.

Atasha's mother held the hands of the two.

“May you have a happy family. I see the love between you two and I also know that you are important to my daughter. Sha-sha is the type of person who trusts easily and you two are not abusing her kindness. You are welcome to join us.”

The two smiled because of what she told them, even though they had just met the two of them, they immediately accepted them. They were about to speak but they were surprised and looked at Atasha as she immediately got up and ran to the bathroom. They looked at each other and immediately followed and saw her vomiting in the sink.

“Renz hijo, please call the doctor.” Atasha's mother said calmly and she approached her daughter to pat her back.

Atasha woke up because she felt like her stomach was turning and she vomited but nothing else came out of her mouth but water so she thought that it was probably because of hunger.

“I-I'm hungry.” Atasha said while looking at her mother so her mother nodded.

"Eldrith hijo, can you buy my daughter something to eat?" Eldrith smiled and nodded.

“Sure! What do you want Sha-sha?” Atasha was surprised, especially since her two clients were still there.

“I am sorry we couldn't continue the meeting. Maybe I passed out because I was so hungry.” Atasha said as they looked at each other.

“That's fine Sha-sha. Tell Eldrith what you want so you can eat,” Ally said that Grace almost laughed because that was a good lie and she was able to hold back.

“Alright, I want a burger and ice cream, cookies and cream.” Eldrith nodded and left. Her mom led Atasha back to bed.

“I'm sorry, I'm neglecting myself because there are so many tasks in the ooffice” Atasha said as her mother held her hand.

“Atasha, listen to me. Please do not neglect yourself, especially now that you are pregnant,”

Atasha was stunned by what her mother said. She could not believe what her mother said and it was still processing in her brain until later she laughed.

“Hahaha Mom, don't be joking, I told you and Grace that I'm not pregnant, it's impossible for me to get pregnant, it's just one night.” Atasha said laughing but she also stopped for a moment when she saw that her companions were serious and not laughing with her.

“W-wait, you're just kidding, aren't you?” Atasha said. They were about to answer when the door opened and when they turned around, a doctor entered.

“How are you feeling? I am your doctor, maybe you know that you are pregnant, just please do not let hunger pass you by. It is good that the child is healthy, so it was not affected.” The doctor said to her while checking her vital sign. 

Atasha was silent for a moment until her eyes widened because of what the doctor said and pointed at herself.

“I'm pregnant?!” she said in shock that her doctor laughed.

“You know what, they were just as surprised when they found out you were pregnant, did you wait a long time with your husband to have a child?”

Atasha's was stunned because of her doctor question so Grace answered.

“The father of the child is not here, doctor.” The doctor was surprised. “Oh, sorry to hear that! But please do not think of aborting the child because the baby in your womb is a blessing.” Atasha looked at her doctor.

“Doc, I never thought about that. Even though what happened to us was unexpected, I have always promised myself that if I might be pregnant, I will take good care of the baby.” Atasha said seriously which made them smile. While Atasha's mother could not stop crying, Grace and Ally grabbed her shoulders and rubbed her back.

“Good to hear that from you Atasha.”

“Just call me Sha-sha.” Atasha said with a smile.

“Okay Sha-sha listen to me. Being pregnant is not easy especially in your stage which is only one and a half month you should be careful, always drink vitamins, eat fruits and vegetables. You will also come back here every month, for your check-ups so we can see if your baby is fine.”

Atasha smiled because of what she said. She is excited to do them.

“Yes, doc, I will not forget what you said, but I have a question. Why didn't I have any symptoms that I was pregnant last month?” Her doctor nodded and answered.

“It is normal Sha-sha, there are cases like that when you get pregnant. Others are 3 months before finding out they are pregnant. There are worse cases that because there are no symptoms, they have miscarriage. You are lucky because your baby is strong, so take care of him, okay?"

She thought about what the doctor said and smiled thinking that she was lucky and touched her stomach.

“B-baby, I'm sorry if mommy neglected you, I didn’t know that you we’re there,”

The others just smiled because of what they saw while his mom could not stop her tears and cried. She is very happy because she can see the joy in her daughter’s eyes and their unikahija is also a mother now. She cannot believe that the one she used to take care of, is now a mother just like her.

“Alright, I will leave you guys for now, I will come back later to give you the vitamins you should take, okay? And when your friend comeback eat okay?” Because the doctor met Eldrith earlier so he knows. She nodded and thanked her.

Atasha looked at her mother who was crying so she was worried about it.

“Ma why are you crying? Come on.” Atasha said and her mother sit next to her.

“Sha-Sha, I am so happy. You are going to be a mother, I never thought I would catch up with you being a mother.” Atasha smiled because of that and started crying.

“You sound like you will leaving me, mom. You will still be with your grandson or a granddaughter so do not talk like that,” Atasha said making her Mama smile and nod. As much as possible, Atasha wants to be stronger, especially now that she has a child.

“Wahhh I'm going to be an aunt!” They looked at Grace when she screamed so they just laughed.

“Babe, you're making noise, we're in the hospital.” Renz said but Grace stuck her togue out which made them laugh more. Ally approached Atasha and sat on the other side of her.

“Congrats Sha-sha you're going to be a Mommy!” Ally said happily making Atasha smile.

“Thank you, Ally. And to you Eldrith, I might have been where I would have been if you had not been there earlier.”

“You are our friend so it's only natural.” Atasha smiled because of what she said and they looked at the door when Eldrith entered. Atasha immediately smelled the burger that he bought at Jvllibee which made her smile big.

“Wow!! The smell of the burger! I am so hungry!” They laughed at Atasha's reaction and Eldrith immediately gave the burgers and a gallon of ice cream.

“Thank you!”

Atasha immediately opened the plastic and opened the Ice Cream first and then followed the burger. She took a bite of the burger and even gulped because of the taste.

“Whoa! It is really the best!” They laughed because of that. Atsha saw that there was a spoon there so she took it and scooped the Ice Cream.

“Delicious! Do you want?!” She told them that they backed away, causing Atasha to frown.

“Why? It is delicious!” His mom laughed because of the kind of question.

“Haha Sha-sha, don't you know that you should not eat with the pregnant woman? Because of the unwillingness and the wanting of that person, it seems that he will conceive just like you.” Atasha thought about what her Mama said and Atasha frowned and nodded because of that.

“It looks like your conception is coming out Sha-sha.” Eldrith said making them nod.

“It's still hard to conceive, especially when it attacks me at night.” Atasha said while her mouth still had a burger.

“We are here to help you!” Ally said.

“Sha-sha, Ally is right and what else are our Fiancés for, right? They can do that!" Grace said making Atasha smile but Atasha is the type of person who does not want to bother anyone because of her.

“Go ahead and eat so your baby will be full.” Her mom said as she nodded. But Atasha stopped when Eldrith spoke.

“Sha-sha, why don't you tell the father of your child that you have a child?”

“H-how did you know?” She said in shock

“We are the one who told them, after all they are also your friends so they deserve to know about that.” Atasha nodded because of what her mom said. She was quiet for a while and ate some ice cream before speaking.

“Honestly, I want tell him but I also thought that he might not accept our child. I do not know him and he does not know me either. I only remember her perfume but not his face. I am ashamed because it happened because of me, we had a child. One more thing, do I know that he has a wife or a girlfriend, maybe later he will just get angry with me and throw me out and our child will be worst.” Atasha said sadly and looked at them who were just listening silently.

“I do not want that to happen. It is better for me to be hurt than my child. So please let me make my decision to raise my child well because he or she is my world now.” She said with a smile. They looked at each other and nodded so she went back to eating.

“SHA-SHA we would like the wedding to be 7 months from now.” Ally said. 

They are now at Atasha's house because they both went there. A week has passed since they found out that Atasha was pregnant. In the past few days, everything was fine.

“Are you sure? Wait, that is my labour month too!” Atasha said smiling as they nodded.

“Haha we know we really care about you because you are important to us” Eldrith said with a laugh that Atasha smiled more. In the past few days, Sha-sha’s stomach was gradually growing which made her happy because her baby bump was gradually coming out and the child in her stomach was kicking.

“Thank you, both of you, huh? I am happy because you all became my friends; you did not abandon me.”

Atasha said smiling because she can see how they take care of her. They always gave him healthy food which made him happy because he loved them.

"What's up Sha-sha, we promised that we'll take care of you, so we'll be with you until the end." Atasha smiled and hugged the two.

“Wow Sha-sha your baby bump is coming out.” Ally said as they finished hugging.

“Yes! I cannot wait for him to come out.” They smiled because of that.

A FEW DAYS passed and Atasha was often at home because her secretary took care of her business. Atasha is often hungry because she is pregnant and Grace and Ally never miss going there once a day.

There they also discussed the preparations for the marriage of the two. They are already planning and shopping for their gown, decorations, and a lot more to go.

At night Atasha woke up because of hunger and went to the kitchen to get the Ice Cream and burger but she stopped as if she did not want them anymore.

“I want French fries and Hot cake.”

She immediately looked in their kitchen for what she wanted and luckily, she found Hot cake and French fries so she immediately started cooking because she was drooling with hunger. When she finished, he immediately ate.

In the middle of the night, there was a pregnant woman who conceived and was eating while her companions in the house, her mother, and some helpers, were already asleep.

She looked at the fridge while eating as if she wanted to dip the French fries in ice cream and she also wanted to stuff the hot cake in the burger so she immediately took it and followed what his child wanted.

“Wahh it's delicious!” She said and happily ate. After eating, Atasha was full. She even mixed milk so she could sleep after that.

No matter how much food he ate, she still woke up early because she was hungry. She saw her mom who was cooking but she wanted something different, and that is what she ate last night.

“Sha-sha, you are awake. Here is your Ice Cream and your burger.” her mother said with a smile but Atasha shook her head.

“Last night I ate French fries and hot cake but I already ate everything. I'll go out and buy new stocks of it.”

“Are you sure? I will join you.”

“I can take care of myself anymore, don't worry mom.”

Atasha immediately took a shower and put on a dress, she looked in the mirror and she could see her baby bump.

“Baby, are you greedy? Good thing your mommy is still sexy,” then she laughs. After that she came down and said goodbye to his mom.

When she left, Ally and Eldrith were going to visit Atasha but they found out that she had gone out, so they followed her.

Atasha, on the other hand, stole the attention of the mall because even though it had just opened, there were many people. There is no denying the beauty of Atasha, especially the master of her face. And even though she is pregnant, she is still sexy and blooming even more. 

There is even a saying that when a pregnant woman is blooming, it means her baby is a girl. When the belly is round like a ball and her armpit is black, it is a boy.

Atasha went to the grocery store and bought as many French Fries and hot cakes as she wanted, almost filling the basket she was carrying. After paying, she requested to send what she bought to her car because she was pregnant and the staff agreed.

She walked around first until she was hungry so she bought ice cream and French fries. Like last night, she dipped them in her ice cream while walking and looking around. She was enjoying her food when she bumped into someone because she was busy looking around.

“What the?! My dress!”

The woman said angrily that she bumped into her but Atasha was not paying attention to that but to her food which had now fallen on the floor.

“M-my food,” she said crying which annoyed the girl even more.

“What?! Food important to you?! Do you know that it is more expensive than your life! You b*tch!” The woman said and pushed her which surprised the people around them especially since they knew she was pregnant.

“Sha-sha!!”

Ally and Eldrith shouted because they saw how the girl pushed her. While Atasha closed her eyes because she did not expect that. She held her stomach when she felt pain there.

“O-ouch, my baby.” Atasha said and she almost fainted when she saw the blood on her leg so she immediately started crying.

“Sha-sha! OMG! Your baby! Honey calls an ambulance!”

Ally said in a panic to Eldrith who immediately did it. While the one who pushed Atasha was also surprised because she did not know that the woman was pregnant. A lot of people felt sorry for Atasha and were angry at what the woman did because her belly was obvious but the woman didn't really pay attention to it because she was very angry.

The ambulance came immediately and Atasha was taken to the hospital who could not stop crying and passed out. Ally was worried while Eldrith was left at the mall.

“What did you do Catty! She is pregnant! She is pregnant and you pushed her!” Eldrith shouted. Yes, they both know the girl and they know her bad behaviours very well.

“I-I do not know Eldrith. I do not know!”

“When something bad happens to the two of them, you will regret it Catty! Remember this, you will live in hell!” Eldrith said angrily and left there.

SOME HOURS passed and now they were all waiting outside Atasha's room. They are worried about her especially the child. They are all complete now. After a while, Atasha's doctor came out.

“Doctor! How is my friend?! It is her baby!” Grace said.

“The child is safe. We are lucky and the baby held on strong and did not leave his mommy he or she is a great fighter.”

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief because of what she said.

“We should be careful because we do not know if this happens again, something bad will happen to the child. Right now, she needs nutritious food just like before and do not forget Vitamins. I will take my leave.”

They thanked the doctor and left. They went inside and Atasha was still asleep.

“The child is fine and safe; I was very worried.” Atasha's Mama and they fell silent.

A FEW MONTHS have passed and Atasha has become healthier and her baby has become more careful now because of the incident.

In the past month, they have been preparing for Ally and Eldrith's wedding. Atasha took care of the flow of the event.

Atasha’s belly is now big. They are in church now because of their rehearsal for the wedding, the two will be married in a few days and they do not even know when she will give birth. She has not done an ultrasound yet because she wants to surprise the child's gender.

“Sha-sha! You are getting more beautiful!” Ally said happily and hugged her. The two had just arrived and Atasha was taking care of other things.

“I think it's natural for me since I am a woman, right?” she said with a smile that made them laugh. The rehearsal has started but it is not enough.

“Eldrith where is your best man and other partners of your bridesmaids?” Atasha asked him.

“It is because they are busy so they can't go. They know what they are going to do when it's the wedding day, so no worries.” Eldrith said with a smile that made Atasha nodded and they started.

Atasha was tired throughout the day so when she came to home, she immediately fell asleep.

Ally's wedding day came; Atasha was at Ally's house. She also met the parents of the two a few months later and they were happy to meet Atasha. Grace was with them because she was also a good friend.

“I am nervous! What if he cannot go?! We did not see each other for a week.”

The two laughed while looking in the mirror. Ally is now wearing her wedding gown and ready to leave because according to tradition, the two of them cannot meet before the wedding, so Ally's reaction is just that.

“Ally, you and Eldrith have been together for so long so don't worry!” Grace said laughing at her friend.

“Ally, Grace is right. We have been preparing for this for a long time.” Atasha said with a smile that made Ally smile. The two are also wearing their violet-coloured gowns. But they were stunned to see Atasha suddenly stunned as if she was hurt.

“A-ahh!”

The two were surprised because when they saw Atasha’s gown are already wet.

“She is going to give birth! Aunt! Uncle! Where are you?! Sha-sha is about to give birth!”

Grace's scream was heard outside and immediately entered there. An ambulance has been called for Atasha.

“Sha-sha take a deep breath. You can do it.” Atasha's mom said and Ally's parents are also there.

“A-ally, listen to me. No matter what happens, your marriage will be okay. D-don't worry ahh!” she was having trouble and Ally nodded but the truth was that she was worried.

Atasha was immediately taken to the hospital with her mother while the others went to the church.

“Dad! What about Sha-sha? What if something bad happen to them during giving birth?!” Ally said while going to the wedding.

“Ally, do not worry. Sha-sha can handle it. Like she said, do not worry. Today is your wedding day so you should enjoy it.”

On the other hand, Atasha was having a hard time giving birth.

“Ahhh!! D-dra, why is it so painful!” Atasha said to her doctor, who made her laugh.

“Sha-sha I already told you about this, right? You can do that, go ahead push!”

“Ahhh!!!” Atasha made a long push but still nothing.

“Sha-sha, you can do it!” Atasha was with her mother inside.

“Sha-sha push more I can now see the head.”

“Ahhhh!!”

After a few minutes, Atasha brought out a healthy baby boy. The sound of his crying echoed around the room.

“Ahh!! Dra, why is it painful again?!” Atasha said and they were surprised and then found out that there was another child.

“Sha-sha your child is twins! Come on because if you did not get him out, he will die!”

The doctor said it because she could see the tiredness on Atasha's face. Even though Atasha was surprised because her child was twins, she was afraid when the doctor said that so no matter how tired she was, she insisted on letting him out.

Which she did after a few minutes.

“It is a baby girl! Your child Sha-sha is a boy and a girl!”

That was the last thing Atasha heard before she passed out from the exhaustion of giving birth.
