Chapter 38: Unexpected Situation

[3rd POV—Davien]

Davien’s fingertips smashing into the keyboard resounded in the background as he worked in front of his massive monitors.

He was coding a new program to heighten their security system that not even Pentagon’s most skillful IT programmers could breach. All the while, he was monitoring the status of their satellite orbiting the earth. He was also searching for any leads—traces of Burson.

Damon burned that fucker’s family to ground a long time ago for good, and it mystified them how the hell he was still alive.

Despite being exactly alike to his brother in all appearances, Davien distinguished himself as the happy-go-lucky and the geeky one. While his twin seemed to have carried all the burden in the world. Though, the two of them have been inseparable since birth.

Davien was only five minutes older than Damon, but with their attitude, it seemed like he was the younger one. They were born in France, and their mother died when they were at the young age of six.
