In camp, Jack is deeply injured alongside Conrad, making the group consider setting up boundaries around camp and using bamboo sticks gotten in the woods to build a fence around camp to shield themselves from the beast.

Taylor and Sage take care of the guys and their injury, and Conrad isn't recovering quickly, he still looks faint and weak.

It got dark, everywhere pale and quiet, Taylor was inside Alex's tent crying, Alex walked in, and asked her what was wrong, she cried heavily rather than responding, and he tried all he could to console her.

She looked at him, paused, and said "Strange things have been happening and I can't help but suspect Jack, he knows a lot about everything going on here, The other time I saw him having a conversation with Mr. Brown, I had no idea what they are hiding from the rest of us, I also think they know about the trap too".

Alex also had a lot to say about Mr.Brown and Jack

He said, "I knew there was something off about Jack but I just couldn't figure him out and I've seen Mr.Brown so many times going into the woods, I thought he was going hunting for food since we are short of food but then he comes back with an empty hand, which was weird".

They continued talking and Taylor seemed so scared of the beast that came out earlier today and she cried and Alex consoled her, Making her rest her head on his chest, She was sober and he petted her till she fell asleep like a baby, Sage walks in looking for Taylor to tell her to go watch Conrad and Jack after seeing Taylor on Alex's chest, jealousy boils up in her, then Alex went ahead to tell her " please can you continue watching them, Taylor feels down and she is already asleep, it's a lot for her lately, she would be happy when she wakes up and see you helped her " Sage isn't feeling good about it but she accepts and walked out.

Sage sat alone outside thinking about her past and why everyone always made her feel stupid and little, from her parents now Alex whom she likes too. She felt intimidated after seeing Alex with Taylor in that manner.

Mr.Brown walks up to her and asks "How are the boys " She responds reluctantly "They are still the same way " Mr.Brown goes inside the tent to check on the boys and there is no progress at all on their recovery, he decides to make medicine for them to aid their recovery. He made the medicines with some herbal leaves that he got from the woods and applied them to their injury and he gave them some to drink, Sage assisted him in the process.

Suddenly Mr.Brown had a memory flashback where he had seen Sage before but he wasn't sure it was her, he started chatting with her, and he was sure it was the girl from last summer who was caught having sex with the hotel staff in a truck.

Mr.Brown did not hesitate to remind her "We've met before, last summer you were the girl with the hotel staff " Before he could finish his sentence she used her hands to cover his mouth.

Sage said to him "Shhhhh, that was last summer and it is in the past " She walked away angrily, worried that he might tell everyone in camp. Mr. Brown laughed at her reaction.

It was The next day Taylor woke up feeling better and Alex already got breakfast for her, wanting her to feel happy regardless of everything, Taylor was excited and felt happy, " Thank you, Alex, I mean that's why you are my best friend, thank you so much for being here for me, I needed it".

Alex was happy and relieved that she felt better, then he said to her "It is fine, everything will be fine, I don't want you feeling down ". They both hugged and that was exactly when Sage walked into the tent to hang out with Alex, She saw them and immediately walked out leaving Alex and Taylor confused.

Taylor left Alex and went ahead to watch Conrad and Jack while checking on them. Conrad gripped her clothes and said to her "Water water, I want water " he said it faintly, She heard him and was excited that he was conscious, so she quickly ran out to get water, Mr.Brown saw her, curious to know why she ran out like that, he quickly goes into the tent I saw that Conrad was conscious then he whispered to him " Don't tell her about what you saw in the woods if you tell her it will come after you and kill you " As he was about leaving Taylor walks in, she questions him " what are you doing here Mr.Brown " he quietly turns, stared at her and said, "Nothing, just checking on the boys ".

She said to herself that's weird, she assisted Conrad in drinking his water, and he did.

She cleaned his injury and applied some ointment, brought him food to eat, he was grateful and appreciated her efforts.

Later on that day, Sage approaches Taylor questioning her about her friendship with Alex, Taylor feels confused and remorseful about telling Sage anything about her friendship with Alex, instead, she tries to tell Sage to be calm and that she has been friends with Alex since kindergarten. Sage was furious and started screaming at Taylor"Hey I don't have my life figured out but don't try to make things worse for me, Just stay out of the way and stay away from Alex, He is all that I have "She kept on screaming and crying. Taylor felt confused and embarrassed as people came out of their tent to see what was happening, they were all murmuring.

Taylor was speechless, Alex arrived, held Taylor's hands, and told her his sorry about this and that he was going to fix whatever was wrong with Sage, he took her inside his tent and, Sage seeing that screamed and ran into the woods. Alex afterward tried looking for Sage to have a conversation he checked everywhere at camp but he couldn't find her
