I let out a sassy smile when my paws stepped on grassy plains drizzled with water drops. The warm breeze blowing over my coat and the cinematic hues of the sky meeting the seas. A dark shade of tourmaline lowers to light blue as it collides with the lemon arrayed sunrise.

Zaetron turned around and met my gaze. “Expect no formal welcome,” he blurted in my head.

I simply nodded in reply.

It took us a few hours to arrive here and as I let those time pass by, I can’t help myself but frown and shake my head multiple times realizing how dramatic I look doing that. it was like I lost have of my ego back there.

I also don’t understand why I did that. Is it because of pity when I saw what he looked like at that time? He was deeply disappointed and there was a hint of pain in his

“I waited for a decade to be able to get out from the pack. And when I got the approval of the elders, the first thing I did was to find you.” He gently tugged my arm and led me to the cliff, parallel to the ocean. “Did we take hours messing around?” I furrowed to his question. Zaetron turned to face me and tilted his head, pointing in the direction where the sun is now rising. “You missed the sunrise.” I smiled at him and diverted my sight to the wide ocean afore me. “I can return here tomorrow. It’s not like the sea would leave its place.”&nbs

He’s just soaked in water, what’s the difference?’ I shook my head to that thought..“Stop staring at me.” But those abs, it’s perfectly packed. And the string of waters dripping on his broad shoulders, his messy drenched hair that now looks more of a black shade than red, that chiseled jaw he has, those sharp eyebrows that match his

I was not the one who forced her to come with me. She pleaded to be with me.” There’s something in my head that goes irritated, causing me to pinch his skin below his arms with my eyes still close. I could’ve enjoyed my sleep if it weren’t because of these two people arguing noisily. If I’m not mistaken, I heard that voice

What are you worrying about?” he nagged, making me breathe in heavily and force a smile out.“Get out. You have a lot of work to do, why don’t you prioritize that first, huh?” His eyes narrowed looking at me. “Why have you changed so suddenly? You’re laughing and joking a while ago, then here you are glaring at me irritatedly.” My knees collapsed without any warning and streams of water started gushing out of my eyes.&nb

Unless… you became the Luna.” I scowled at her and slapped the glass table between us. My lips automatically smirked arrogantly as I tilt

A storm of arrows was buzzing and fizzing through the sky. A blizzard of spears was shrilling and slicing through. Battering and beating the enemies under a sunless empyrean. A lesion of lodestar-bright light illuminated the benighted sky. The battleground became slimy with intestines scattered and greasy with gore. Titian-red blood spurted from their wounds as men wailed and screamed. Sounds of bones were snapping and shattering as a flood of horrendous rebels broke the lines of defenses. The effluvium of death was all around. The battlefield had been baptized in blood and the bitter, mordant perfume of corpses emanated from it. This is the scenario I see afore me. I can’t define it even more than a single word… This is horror.&n

Why don’t you try loving your mate back?”“Hey, it is your matter. Not mine. We have different situations, Denise. Don’t change the course,” she grumped and tightened the bandage intentionally, making me exclaim in pain. “Get it?” I nodded and diverted my eyes to the vast mountains afore the opened window. “I don’t trust people I just bumped at. I don’t want to trust mates particularly.”“But at least try to?” she repeated. My mouth shut. “Maybe it could be the one healing the scars of the past.”“I don’t want to take a risk, Sydney,” I quickly replied. “I’ve had enough damage w

There were no destructive bombings, no clashing of blades, and no cries that fills the air. Just like the first time he brought her here. She was wearing a flowing dress. There is this golden tinted lace that was encircling her neck and which holds the fabric covering her chest. On her arms wrapped a long blue silken fabric that extends down to the ground. It was of different shades of blue. From darker on top and then it became lighter as it strides down to the ground. There wer

He stood in the hold, full of power and control over all the high-skilled patrols. He wears this suit of blue and a red sash-like crossing over his shoulder and on it pinned different crests that, perhaps, represent the high rank he’s in.“Saje, shuwa, taddo!” With the count of the high guard, the terrifying banging of the drums filled the wide court hall. The drum was made out of vertically narrow lengths of wood with a slightly beveled edge to form its torso. Animal skin, probably, is stretched over the torso and was tightened with a rope.

“No.” I step back away from her. “I got what you need. Between the two of us, you need help more than I do.” Her hand moved and stroked the air, delivering a swift wind that immediately snatched the thing out of my grip.“Your mother… has agreed to this when she left for that man.” The moon goddess treaded, closing our distance. She lifted her hand and brushed my cheek with the back of her fingers. “You are a child of

Not getting my sight off the thing in my hands, I clutched it tighter. The old brown paper and the ancient letterings imprinted on it. The engraved figure of a dragon crossing the crescent moon clasping the rolled paper in place, the emblem of Nightshade. I finally got the venturi scroll. The reason I sneaked in the headquarters of

Every exit equals to four ranked patrol warriors guarding. And to her current state, it will be hard for her to get away if she’s planning to escape.“Letters are already sent by Ferisha to Shadowstone. Sooner or later, they will be here. What are you planning to say to them?” he asked when we reached the furren corridors of the mansion leading to the headquarters. I nodded. “What are the things you’ve discovered? “Who are you?” His terrorizing tone sends chills on my spine, adding his piercing killer eyes that slay with just a single stare. His hand wrapped around my neck stiffened that I hardly breathe and all I could do was push his hand away. He’s killing me. Is this the way he usually asks? Or perhaps, a start of his interrogation?“Answer me!” Zaetron growled and his grip tightens, making me gasp and wheeze. Stupid! How would I answer if he’s not letting me go!“Daddy, please don’t hurt mommy!” I heard Keith scream and saw him run towards the man’s legs and wrapped his tiny arms around Zaetron’s leg. “Daddy, I don’t want her to leave us again,” he muttered with his voice cracking. Even if I can’t see him clearly, I know his eyes were now starting to wail up. His voice was pleading, begging… Unexpectedly, hastily as a dash of the wind, I found myself falling down from his grip. And my body crashed like a withered vegetable on the rocky grou

Chapter 46: Out of the angleThird Person’s POV Palacio di Bulan (Moon’s Palace); A century ago“Avanti!” Palacio di Bulan is a mystical mass of land that floats beneath the space between the earth and the moon. At the center lies a temple that nothing occupies but millions of celosia cristata flowers glowing azure and lilac with a pond in it as the moon’s light darts upon. On the temple’s left side stands a huge castle. It was of marble that reflects the light of the moon. There was a broken brick bridge by the arch entrance that seems like it has been cut intentionally. Like there has to be its other half left behind. There were two cylindrical towers standing on the gate’s sides parted by walls that were engraved with windows. On the inner side was the mansion that was even taller than the entrance towers. Around lives dozens of green trees and on their branches hang lurches and vines of jade plant. Down lingers its blue flowers that resem

I pulled the fabric on my chin to cover half of my face as I kept my foot attached firm on the highest branch of the tree beside the gushing river of Amtala. It’s almost midday as I have promised Keith. The forest was quiet and lucid as usual. By far I have not seen anything suspicious as is. I was about to lunge down when a tiny voice caught my ears.“Mommy?” A little boy wearing a simple brown shirt and loose blue pants was running towards the tree I’m on. His dark hair tainted red on its tips looks like a fireball dashing if I am to see his head only. I quickly leaped to meet him and a wide smile crept on his face
