CHAPTER 6

Leo's POV

I was shocked to see her there, she didn't strike me as someone who visited the club. She looked so quiet and innocent.

I stood rooted to my feet and couldn't move my leg because she looked so beautiful and extremely hot.

I wished I could have her in my arms right now.

That would also mean I would be breaking my own rules of never having any intimate relationship with an employee. I didn't care about that anymore. I hated to have intimate relationships with employees because I didn't want anything to affect the company I spent years and toil to build.

I passed by her as if she never existed. I'm cold and everyone knows that. I had to act like it. I wondered why she kept staring at me as if she was shocked to see me too. 

I ordered my favorite drinks and turned to realize that she had sat close to her Ryan and I sat. 

I walked to my seat and sat down and started to drink too.

I was stealing glances at her because of how she looked tonight and she also turned to look at me once in a while.

I turned to look at her again and realized she was drinking too much as if something was bothering her. She looked intoxicated and wasn't even stopping. I wondered what was wrong with her. 

Someone I presume to be her friend or the one she came with walked to her and tried to talk to her. She whispered something into her ears. She turned to my direction and whispered something in her ears and her friend also turned to my direction looking shocked as if she had seen a ghost, and I wondered what she might have said.

I'm sure she might have told her friend am her boss. Ryan also realized how I was staring at her and asked me why I have been staring at that girl since we came in. I told him she was beautiful and I wished I could have her, and also explained that she was my secretary.

Ryan raised his eyebrows but was not surprised, I said she was beautiful and I wish I could have her because we know each other well and we don't hide anything from each other and asked if I'm ready to break my rules since I don't like to do anything with employees. Ryan was surprised to hear she was my secretary and made a joke that I'm lucky to see a beautiful face every day.

We both turned to look at Mia and her friend again. She was trying to get up but staggered back because she drank so much as if she was in a competition and was going to win an award for it. Her friend tried to hold her but she made a sign to her as if to say she was okay and didn't need help. I was still staring at her and saw her pass by as if she was heading to the washroom. I stood up and followed her because this place is a very dangerous place and the way guys are staring at her, they might try to take advantage of her drunk state and touch her, and I didn't want that to happen. I need to protect her. She is my employee after all.

She went to the washroom and when she came out she looked at me and smiled and said I looked like her boss. She walked closer to me a little and asked why I looked like her boss so much. 

Gosh her smile was beautiful but I'm her boss. Gosh!!! She is so drunk.

I walked closer to her and held her hand and decided to walk her to her seat. She looked very happy and hugged me tight and kept smiling. She kept blabbing about how I looked like her boss and was talking about me as if she was talking to someone else. She said mean things a little, then something nice and said something means again, which was so funny.

I enjoyed listening to her and kept smiling.

I took her to her seat and met her friend who looked shocked again to see us coming. I wondered if she had been injected with something to make her get shocked at things often.

I told her the place was dangerous and she should watch her friend.

She told me Mia doesn't normally drink and apologized for any inconvenience she might have caused and thanked me for following her to the washroom. I told her Mia was my employee and I needed to make sure she is okay. 

She decided to take Mia home and I offered to take her home Instead since she was too intoxicated and she would have to carry her.

I just wanted to be around her and I was glad she agreed.

She gave us her name as Lovia stated she was Mia's best friend and took both Ryan's and my contact to check up on Mia. She also wrote Mia's address and I input it into my GPS.

I told Ryan to go home and I took Mia in my car. She kept talking about her boss, which was me and I responded to her as well. I also realized that I felt happy anytime I was around her.

I drove to the address Lovia gave me and honked at the gate. The gateman opened and asked who I was.

I explained I was Mia's boss and came to drop her off since she was intoxicated.

He allowed me in and I carried Mia to the house into the living room.

I tried to leave but she asked me not to leave and said I should protect her.

She said she was scared to be alone.

I looked at her for a while and lay by her side on the floor in the living room.

She moved into my arms and fell asleep immediately.

I fell asleep too and it was one of

the best sleep I've ever had.
