CHAPTER 5

Lovia's POV

I looked at Mia as she talked about how she saw Leo in the office having sex with another girl. I looked at her and was so surprised at how she sounded so hurt when Leo didn't even notice her. 

I have been friends with Mia since childhood and she has no other friends except me. 

We went to the same high school and tertiary and she is the best friend anyone can ever be with. 

Even though we both didn't come from a rich home we supported each other and have been there for each other since and I love her so much.

The day she came back to talk about meeting someone at the hospital and crushing on the person I felt sad because I knew that once she falls in love with someone, it will be hard for her to get over the person.

She loves deeply and she gets hurt deeply too.

When her first boyfriend left her, it wasn't easy for her.

Now it's Leo, in college, she never stopped talking about him. She talked about him day and night and always followed him on social media. When I got to know Leo was a coldhearted billionaire and a playboy I tried to get her to get over him because I felt she could never get him.

I mean it's impossible, people like us and Leo are two worlds apart. 

She tried to get over him too, she tried dating other guys but it just didn't work out. It seems her heart and whole being is stuck on Leo. I don't understand but maybe they are meant to be together.

I looked at her for a while and pulled her into a hug.

I tried to rub her back and tell her everything will be alright. She felt like she wanted to cry. I know she is tired of being madly in love with Leo when he didn't even look at her.

I looked at her for a while and an idea occurred to me.

Probably she could be friends with Benefits with Leo and later make him fall in love with her.

The thing about Mia and I is we are very crazy. So I suggested the idea to her and she was shocked and against it. She felt she wanted him to love him and she didn't want their relationship to start like that.

 I don't know why I suggested that to her but 

I just felt that Mia was a good person and the more Leo gets to know her, he will fall in love with her. But currently, the only way to get close enough for Leo to fall in love with her is to be his friend with benefits.

I just hope I'm right and she won't regret it because I mean well to her.

I suggested we go to the bar and she agreed and decided to go home and freshen up and wear something for us to go. I decided to also wash down and wear something hot and meet her.

Mia's POV

I went home to freshen up and kept thinking about what Lovia said. I'm not surprised because Lovia and I are very crazy. But I'm worried because I love Leo and I don't want our relationship to start that way.

I freshen up and sat down to think about it for a while. I started to think maybe if I am his friend with benefits, he will fall in love with me or I will end up getting over him.

I felt probably it was because we haven't done anything that's why I'm not able to get over him and once we do something the feelings I had of him will leave.

I decided to get him to be my friend with benefits at all costs even though I didn't know how to get him.

He was cold at work and very difficult and unapproachable. I just don't know how to get him to be my friend with benefits.

I stood up and wore a very hot attire that showed almost half of my thigh and a part of my breast. I changed my hairstyle from a bun and let my hair fall on my shoulders.

I put some red lipstick on my lips and smiled at the results of what I saw in the mirror. I was beautiful no doubt and I could get any man I wanted so why couldn't I get him?

I heard my phone ring and saw Lovia's call. I quickly rushed out and drove out to meet her in her car in front of my gate. We drove to the bar separately in our cars and parked at a good spot and entered the club.

Lovia put her hands around my neck as we walked to the bar to order drinks. The barman served us our drinks and we started drinking 

Lovia saw some of her friends and decided to go and greet them. 

I sat there alone drinking and later realized a lot of guys were staring at me. 

I knew it was because of the way I dressed and the fact that I'm beautiful too.

I didn't appreciate those stares because the one I wanted him to stare at him had noticed me even for a second.

I decided to get up and sit at the other side of the bar while I waited for Lovia, I felt lonely. We normally come to the club but Lovia always gets up to dance a little aside from drinking. For me, all I do is sit and watch people dance and drink till it's time for us to go home.

I stood up and turned and saw Leo coming to the bar. I stopped in my tracks and he also did the same.

We were both shocked to see each other and I was also very shocked to see him. He looked extremely handsome as ever and I almost wanted to go hug him.

We stared at each other for a while and I wondered why he was staring at me like that as if it was his first time seeing me because we work in the same company and we hardly even look at each other in the office.

I greeted him and he responded with a nod and walked to the bar and ordered drinks and acted like I didn't exist.
