Matthew P.O.V
It was him, I thought to myself.
The adorable little boy before me, that looked to be around the same age as Dina, was none other than Adam. The same little boy that was in the children’s hospital and shared the same hospital room as Ruby two years ago. He had a black backpack, wore a black and white t-shirt; with jeans, and black shoes. He had those same green eyes and dirty blonde hair; the only difference was that he was a bit taller and missing two front teeth. I looked at the little boy with both surprise and happiness. I didn’t realize Dina knew him, also I didn’t realize that Dina had friends. I had hoped she did, but didn’t think she did. She never talked about them when I babysat her a while ago, or was around her overall.
I bent down, eye level to the little boy, and extended my hand out in g
Matthew’s P.O.VWhen we finally reached the store. I opened the car door and stepped out. Holding it open for Ali to get out. When Ali got out of the car, I walked towards the driver’s window and instructed Will to stay nearby. He nodded in reply to my instructions and drove off. I know my aunt, and she is going to be shocked when she sees Ali. When she sees Ali, she is going to have so much questions to ask and I wouldn’t be shocked if she ends up calling my mother, to tell her about Ali. I have never brought any woman to see her before, so this will be the first time.Ali had a nervous look on her face. I smiled when I noticed the look on her face, finding it adorable how nervous she looked. She had no idea that Madam Lavu is my mother’s sister; so, Ali is going to be in for a surprise when she finds out. I grabbed Ali’s h
Matthew P.O.VRight now, Ali was in the dressing room, and trying out one of the dresses my aunt chose for her. There were many that my aunt picked and a lot of them were very beautiful. I am sure that they’d look even better on Ali and my aunt said the same, when she saw how nervous Ali was to try them on. She was very kind to Ali when she assured Ali that it would beautiful on her and how the dress was practically made for her and that it was fate for her to wear one of them. That part is just my aunt being dramatic, but I agree none the less.“I can’t believe you would do this to me Matty,” scolded my aunt.To my mom and Aunt, I was always called Matty. It’s just a nickname that stuck ever since I was a child. I’ve tried getting them to call me by my full name when I became older, but they refused and have ignored my constant demand. To
Matthew P.O.V“How do you feel about it?” I asked Ali.She walked towards the floor to ceiling mirror on the wall and gasped when she saw herself.“This is the one,” she said with tears in her eyes. She then turned towards my aunt and I. “Thank you so much.”My aunt stepped forwards and hugged Ali “My pleasure.”I then turned towards my aunt, “You can just send me the bill and I’ll take care of it.”She immediately shook her head “No, absolutely not. This is on the house. I am not going to allow you to pay for this.” She then turned towards Ali “Think of this as a ‘nice to meet you gift,’ from me to you.”Ali chuckled a bit with her teary eyes, then gestured towards the beauti
Matthew P.O.V“Matthew honey, why aren’t you eating your food?” asked my mother.Right now, I was currently eating dinner with my mother at my house. Ever since I left Ali’s place, I couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss. I couldn’t stop thinking about it so much, that I almost forgot about the dinner I had with my mother tonight. I was about to head back to my apartment room in the apartment building, but stopped when I suddenly remembered about tonight’s dinner.I still haven’t told my mom about Ali, and I rather be finished with my food before I do. I know that once I tell my mother about Ali, she is going to have so much questions, that I won’t be able to finish my food in peace. I really am surprised that my aunt Lavu didn’t tell my mother about Ali as soon as we left.I need to rem
Madam Lavu P.O.VI picked up my office phone and called Daisy, “Daisy I’m ready to leave, can you have my driver bring the car around,”“Yes madam,” said Daisy, before I cut the call.Today was such a great day, and it was all because of Ali. She is finally the answer to Maria and I’s prayer. Maria and I have tried countless of times, to match Matty up with women, hoping they would catch his eye. That way he will get married to one of them and eventually have babies together. Then I would be truly happy when that happens. It was silly of me to automatically assume that they were getting married, when I saw her. I chalk it up to me getting my hopes up. I was greatly sad when he said they were not getting married. What I am glad about though, is the fact that Matthew did
Matthew P.O.V“Good morning!” I said to a maid with a chip in my step, as I came down the staircase.“Good morning sir,” replied one of the startled house maids. She was so surprised to see me, due to the fact that I usually wake up late and someone always has to give me a wakeup call. She was so surprised to the point, where she almost bumped into an expensive vase behind her. I was about to walk towards the kitchen to see what the chief made for breakfast, but stopped when I heard the sound of someone knocking on the front door of my house. I wasn’t expecting anyone, so I wonder who this could be.Knock!Knock!Knock! My maid was about to walk towards the door, but
Ali’s P.O.V“Pssst.” whispered a tiny voice.I ignored it, hoping it would go away.“Pssst.” Said the tiny voice getting louder. This time, it was closer to my ear. I stayed quiet and again hoped it would go away.“Aliiiiiii,” now the voice was whining, and shaking my shoulder a bit.I groaned “Not again” and turned over, my back towards the culprit. “Wake up. I am going to be late to school,” Groaned the voice.I woke up when I realized it was Dina’s voice. I forgot that I had to take her to school again. I was lucky I was not late, when I dropped her off at school yesterday. I could have sworn I set an alarm last night. Then again, I
Maria P.O.VI was so excited to see the woman that was finally able to win my son over. I am so happy; I could scream with joy. I genuinely do not care that she is his P.A, and if anyone else does; then they can just close their eyes. I was never a patient woman, and my son was an adorable fool, to think that I would wait till the fundraiser to see this woman. As soon as I got home last night, I had my people find out her address and text it to my driver, that way he can take me to see her in the morning. When we finally reached the apartment building. My driver stepped out of the car and opened the car door for me. I stepped out and instructed him to wait nearby; He nodded in reply to my instructions. I walked inside the apartment building and towards the elevator. I pressed the up button, and waited for the elevator to arrive. After that, I pulled out my phone to call my son. I can’t wait to
