CHAPTER TWO
DANIEL'S POV:
As I was wandering throughout the city looking for someone, I came across an ice cream stand. 'It's so hot, I should buy some ice cream.' I began to move towards the stall, thinking.
It was difficult to see straight because I was wearing a hoodie to shelter myself from the blazing sun. I ran into someone as I walked towards the stall. I instinctively stretched out to grab her, which resulted in me hugging her.
'I should stop!' I wanted to leave her, but there was something tantalizing about her that made me hesitate. 'What is this odor?' As I was wondering, the girl began to make a scene and yell about how I had damaged her ice cream. 'She has a lot of energy to shout in this fcking weather!'
It was becoming difficult for me to hold her since she was struggling so much. I was going to let her go when my lips accidentally touched her neck.
'Inquisitive! For someone to have such beautiful, flawless skin!' I take a deep breath unconsciously. 'Her blood odor... it's lovely,' I hurriedly snapped out of it. 'What in the world am I thinking?'
For me to get interested in a normal human girl?!' I keep my face away from her neck, trying not to suck her blood.
Just as I was about to see her face, my attention was drawn to a man I saw coming in their direction. 'What the hell is he doing here? Finally found him, but in such an awkward situation... 'Damn, I should leave!'
I take a step back and sprint as fast as I can in the opposite way, hurriedly whirling the girl in his general direction.
I came to a halt after covering around 3 km in 2 minutes. "What the hell was he doing here?! And what's the deal with that girl? Was she with him?"
'For me to almost lose myself to urges? It's been a long time since I've felt this way about someone. When was it last? Fifty something years ago? The first time it was because of Katherine's fucking bit*h! And now for this woman!
I should have asked her name.' At least I took her picture in the last seconds,' I thought as I gazed down at my phone.
Sighing I started walking towards my house. 'What a messed-up day!'
When I got home, I called Adrian, my best friend. We've known one other for about 50 years and consider ourselves to be brothers. He was the one who stood by me while I was at my lowest point in life. Which I am still grateful for.
I gazed out the window at the sky, where the moon was shining brightly for all to see. 'What a lovely sight.' I was reminded of my past as I gazed towards the sky.
It was a night like this one. There was nothing spectacular about it other than the fact that I had broken up with Katherine, which had left me inconsolable. I needed some alone time to process my emotions. As a result, I abandoned the pack.
I had no idea our adversaries were watching us at the moment. Because I was the alpha or leader in our case, my absence caused problems.
Taking advantage of this, werewolves or hunters attacked us. I was terrified when I first learned about it. I hurried towards my pack, not thinking anything of it, but it was too late by the time I arrived.
All I could do was stand there, silently, staring at the decaying bodies of individuals who had once been my comrades... my family.
I was walking on the ground, towards the bodies that were all too evident to me. As the strong odor of blood assaulted my senses.
The stench I was all too familiar with... I cried... I cried! Is it my fault? What if I hadn't abandoned them due to my folly? "Say, is it my fault, Father?!?" I yelled, hoarsely, towards the body that was lying on the ground, a sword piercing its heart. 'Dammit…'
The stench I was all too acquainted with... I sobbed... and sobbed! … Was I to blame? What if I hadn't abandoned them due of my folly? "Say, Father, is it my fault?!?" I yelled, hoarsely, at the body on the ground, a sword inserted in its chest, piercing the heart. 'Dammit…'
After learning of her husband and son's deaths, Mother traveled overseas to alleviate her grief.
With my mother gone, I was on my own. I was at a loss about what to do with my life. Everything appeared to be as dull as it could be. Perhaps death is preferable to life as a hollowed-out walking ghoul. That's when Adrian helped me.
Though I wouldn't call it sharing, he did assist me in reliving my grief. It is sometimes preferable to have a company other than none.
At that time in my life, I realized what it meant. He provided me with motivation as well as the knowledge that enraged me beyond comprehension.
Katherine, that bitch, dumped me for a whore hunter! I was furious! It was my fault, not hers, for falling for such a harlot. I gathered my forces and, with the assistance of Adrian, reclaimed the title of King of Vampires!
"Daniel, what's the problem, dude? What did you call me for?" Hearing a voice drew me back from my reverie. When I turned around, I saw a man who appeared to be 23 and had a well-kept beard that gave him a roguish and wild appearance. I cracked a grin.
"Adrian, how are you doing? Is it true that I haven't seen you in a while?" I said this as I walked up to him and hugged him.
"Very good. And the reason we haven't met in a while isn't because a certain king isn't doing his job correctly and leaves everything to me?!" Adrian inquired, resentfully. However, he never stopped smiling.
"Oi! Don't be that way! You know I have a lot on my plate and am not very good at office work!" I responded by rejecting his charge.
"Alright, alright. Tell me why you called me," Adrian asked while shaking his hand.
"I need as much information as you can obtain about this girl," I mentioned this while showing him a picture of the girl.
Adrian raised an eyebrow as he saw the picture. "Why are you on the lookout for her? Did you fall in love or what?"
"Nothing like that, I'm simply interested in her," I said, shaking my head. 'Me? After all of Katherine's drama, I'm falling in love? 'Impossible!'
'Impossible!' Adrian made a contemplative expression.
"You do!" I replied, which astonished me.
"I mean, she's their only daughter!"
"WHAT! So, why didn't you tell me?" I inquired.
"Because you never asked," Adrian explained with a shrug.
I was rendered dumbfounded. 'This guy! He does it on purpose!'
"Anyway, schedule a meeting with her parents for me!"
"Wait! That is not something I would recommend. They don't want to get their daughter involved in this mess!"
"That's not my problem, but theirs," I say, turning to face him as he sighs. "All right, I'll take care of it."
"Thanks. What is the name of their daughter, by the way?" Curious, I inquired.
"Jamima!" Adrian said as he walked out of the room.
'It's finally time to exact my retribution!' I exclaimed as I gazed out the window. My father, brother, and fallen comrades. They will never be forgiven for killing your life, and I will never forgive them. 'Just as they took everything valuable from me, I will take theirs!'
Bzz*bzz*
I pull out my phone to see if it was a message from Adrian, 'Damn, He is fast!' I grinned when I looked at the envelope. 'Things are finally starting to become interesting. Huh~ I'm curious what their expressions will be when I will adopt her as my blood pet! It must be a joy to witness!'
***
Reaching to her parents' place the next day. I knew they would never agree to my terms of handing their daughter to me, so I devised a solid plan to ensure that they couldn't refuse me under any circumstances.
When I got to the front door, I pressed the doorbell, and they both walked out. Mr. Parker opened the door and greeted me with a smile, as did I, but there was this discomfort between us that was utterly ignored.
I wanted to leave them with the finest image of myself.
I sat on the chair as they welcomed me into their home. Mr. Parker and her wife followed me in. Mrs. Parker served me a cup of tea, which I accepted.
We all began to discuss about odd topics, such as the present state of the government and other topics.
For a while, the room was silent, interrupted only by a little apprehensive Mr. Parker. "Look, Daniel, we've accepted our mistake from fifty years ago. It was 'she' who led us astray in the past, right?
Is there any purpose for you to come meet us today since we've already solved this problem?"
I smiled, hoping to calm their anxieties "Don't be concerned, Mr. Parker. I'm not here today to reminisce about the past. What has been done is done. It's pointless to think about it."
Mrs. Parked exhaled a sigh of relief and inquired, "Then what may be the reason that the King of Vampires has personally come to speak with us?"
"Well, that may sound strange and suspicious, but your daughter, Jamima, was identified to be my mate, and I am come to take her!" I smile at them.
They both glance at each other, terrified. I laughed inside as I saw their bemused expression. 'This is only the beginning, Parkers. Wait, as there will be more surprises in your lives!'
"Impossible! Is Jamima your mate? How do you know she's your soul mate?" With a grimace on his face, Mr. Parker said.
"Please, Mr. Parker. We both know what it's like to be close to your mate. I mean, you should be able to tell, shouldn't you?"
Mr. Parker gritted his teeth because he does make sense, and muttered, "Let's say we believe you. Will you, however, guarantee that she will not be put in danger?"
"Give me six months, and if she does not agree to stay with me after that time, I will leave her and will not compel her to stay with me again. So... what are your thoughts?" I said this while staring directly into their eyes, which appear to be trying to escape reality.
"But-..." they began to say something, but I cut them off this time, "Look, Mr. Parker, don't let me force you because you also know that we vampires will go to any length to be with our mates, and if anyone attempts to stop us, the outcome will not be so~ good."
Their heads were hung down and they were thinking about the current predicament "At the very least, I am a better option than the other guy, Danny. Mr. and Mrs. Parker, don't you think?" I remarked this as I took a sip from my cup.

CHAPTER THREE Their heads were bowed and they were thinking about the current predicament "At the very least, I am a better option than the other guy, Danny. Mr. and Mrs. Parker, don't you think?" I remarked this as I took a sip from my cup. They both gazed at each other for two minutes before saying, "All fine, but just for six months, and after that, if she doesn't choose to be with you, you will leave her with no repercussions." "Excellent, deal!" Anyway, six months is more than enough time for me to avenge myself. We were talking about something unimportant, and I was becoming bored when I heard footsteps from behind me. There stood the perfectly pure and innocent girl, who looked nothing like her parents at all, with a gorgeous face, a pure heart, and an innocent appearance. Wait.
CHAPTER FOUR We stood in front of a large, elegant, and stunning mansion. Two guards waited on either side of the door, greeting Daniel; but, instead of greeting them, he began to enter the mansion, giving them the cold shoulder. 'RUDE!' "Good evening, Sir," says the narrator. A lady, perhaps in her mid-40s, stated. She was lovely and appeared trustworthy. She had a genuine smile on her face, which added to her beauty. "You too, Sophie oh yeah! And she'll be my personal slave from now on! I—Ahh! Emm… I rescued her from a slave market. You knowbetterwhat to do now, don't you?" I waslistening to him with my mouth open. 'WTF?' "Hey! Are you insane, Dan-?" He slammed me into the nearest wall before I could finish my sentence. My back slams into it, hard, as I scream in agony. "I told you not to call me by my name!" he yelled fiercely, his eyes turning red. 'What in the world is going
CHAPTER FIVE "All right, here we are, go inside," she said as she gave me a nice hug, possibly because she was sad for me. Oh, she was my first acquaintance here. I opened the door and entered a huge living room. I noticed him, who was sitting on a sofa, and approached him until I was standing in front of him. Waiting for an explanation, I crossed my arms above my chest. "Please don't irritate me or you'll live to regret it. In addition, I'm not in a good mood," he stated while standing. He vanished from my vision as he stood, and by the time I recognized it, he was standing in front of me, our eyes locked on one other. He brushedup against my chin, causing me to look slightly upward in his direction. I wanted to turn away, but his hand kept my face fixed in place. I was terrified. I wanted to flee, but my body was mystically succumbing to him. But my pride won out over my dread of him. "Sorry ab
CHAPTER SIX "I have three knives in my hand. I'm going to toss them all at you. You have five seconds after I throw the first one to come out and beg for your life. You have three seconds after I throw the second. You have no time limit with the third one." He was correct; I had been scared before, but now I was terrified. I was trembling. I didn't want to die, especially not here or in this way. "Let's get started," were the last words I heard before I felt excruciating pain in my left arm. As I knelt on my knees, a low scream escaped my lips. My cheeks began to flush with tears. I noticed a blood-splattered knife on the marble floor. My arm was scraped just below the elbow. It began to bleed more than it should have for a scrape. "Okay, are you still not coming?" He spoke softly. I knew I couldn't take it any longer. If one could inflict this much pain, I'd die once he threw the other two. He counted c
CHAPTER SIX "You were given instructions, rules, and instructions on what you should do from now on. You were supposed to accept it whether you liked it or not. You don't have a choice, do you? "He said it coldly. "Because I won't be so nice the next time." His hand stroked my cheeks before moving to my arm. His fingers probed my wound. "Hey, what the hell is wrong with your arm?" he inquired, perplexed. I was startled when I noticed a yellowish light emanating from the wound on my arm. "Wait, you're a vampire, too?" he exclaimed, surprised. In response, I shook my head. What is he on about, me or the vampire? It's not possible. "A werewolf?" he inquired once more. "What?" I asked, perplexed, what the hell is that werewolf? Are they even real? I'm not sure if vampires can, then any other supernatural can. Wait, what about witches, fairies, and werewolves too? "THEN WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU HE
CHAPTER SEVEN "I swear I won't do it aga-" Before I could finish my sentence, he pressed his face against the center of my neck, and a small gasp escaped my mouth as his lips moved to my neck and kissed the spot where my heartbeat could be felt. Chills spread across my body as I felt his mouth open and his teeth slowly nibble on my neck. His teeth sunk into my skin with ease, causing pain. I began to fight back, and I was constantly struggling in my situation to be free. But he ignored me and kept me where I was. His teeth seemed to sink deeper and deeper, and with each movement, more pain spread throughout my body. I was trembling in my place beneath his massive appearance. "S-Stop!" I stammered, but he ignored me. "Stop!" I said it louder this time than the previous one, but he did nothing but ignore me. "Stop, it's excruciatingly painful!" I exclaimed. Iscreamed, and tears streamed down
CHAPTER SEVEN The next morning, I awoke to a loud bang on the door and saw a girl walking in with some maid clothes in her hands. I tried to stand up, but due to the previous incident, I couldn't even make myself sit in my seat. My body appeared to be sore, and every joint seemed to be in excruciating pain. I kept a close eye on the girl as she came to a complete stop right in front of me. She looked at me from head to toe, a disgusted expression on her face. I remained silent because I had no idea whether she was a vampire or a regular human being, and I never want to make it difficult for myself to live thereby making unnecessary enemies. All I wanted was to leave this place safely and without getting into any fights with anyone, whether it was with a senior vampire or just a maid, so the best option for me was to remain silent and calmly endure her every word. After thoroughly inspecting me and determining that I would not
CHAPTER EIGHTEENI was running like a stupid person, ignoring everyone around me because at that time the only thing running in my mind was, how to reach my destination as soon as possible?Having only one aim in mind, I don't know when I slammed into a bunch of people on my way. But to be honest, it was their fault to stand in the middle of nowhere. They were too strong that after colliding with them I fell on the ground but they were standing still on their spot as nothing has happened."Ouch..." I said rubbing my knees which were now bleeding from the wound which I get recently.I moved my face to see with whom I have just collided and get terrified by the fierce look in their eyes. They all were looking at me like some predator was looking at his prey. They seemed ready to eat me at any moment, right there and right now."So-sorry," I said stuttering, terrified of their continuing gaze at me."Stand up,"
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-SIX One Week Later "Mother, wake up!" Alex said, gently moving Jamima's arm. Let's go get something to eat." Jamima blinked, rubbing her eyes, and saw his son standing in front ofher, worriedly looking at her. She lifted her head from the bed and smiled at him. She was sleeping tightly, sitting on the chair with her head on the bed. She hadn't slept in a week due to the incident with Daniel. "I'm not hungry. You go ahead and eat somethinguncle Adrien," she said, putting her head back on the bed and closing her eyes. "However, mom-" "Where is Danny?" Jamima asked, her eyes closed. "He's preoccupied with the vampire realm. He stated that before things returned to normal; he would do his best to handle the situation on both sides. Besides, he'd already signed the peace treaty with the vampires," Alex responded. "Did
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FOURTY-FIVE Alex took a step towards his father, who was looking at him with the affection he had always expected from his mother but had never received even a smidgeon of. His steps were small but filled with fear. He was terrified that the moment he reached him, he would lose him for the rest of his life. He knew his father was doing everything he could to hold him in his arms one last time. And once that is completed, he will no longer be fighting for his life. He didn't want to go near him, but he also wanted to relieve his pain as soon as possible. He was aware that his father was in pain but still forced a smile on his face to not to scare him. "Father, please don't leave!" he said as he took another step forward. " Make a promise to me that you will not leaveAlex alone." Daniel extended his hand to him, and he took it right away. Daniel drew him in closer, and Alex sat beside him and h
CHAPTER ONE HUNDERD FORTY-SEVEN"What a wonderful reunion we have here!" There was a voice, and everyone turned their heads to see Belen Ace holding Alex with a gun pointed at his heart. The gun was designed specifically to kill vampires. Asingle bullet to the heart. And they are dead. They were all frozen when they saw Alex with Belen. Jamima began to tremble as her gaze was drawn to the gun at his heart."Now, now, now.... Tell your men to stop fighting or else," he said, pushing his gun against Alex, harder.Daniel looked at Danny and nodded, his fists clenched. Danny issued orders for everyone to surrender and stop fighting."How does it feel to be hopeless and act like your enemy's puppy?" Belen smirked. They didn't say anything because they didn't want to irritate Belen. Making him angry will only cause Alex harm, which neither of them desired."Father, it's all right! You don't have to do wh
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-SIXWhen he decided to come here, he reasoned that his mother would not bother to save him, and he also wanted answers to his questions. He wanted to know why his father didn't want him and why his mother fought for him but still doesn't love him.His hands trembled as he hugged her again. "Baby, what happened?" Jamima asked, breaking the hug,"Why are you shaking? Don't be afraid, baby. Mommy has arrived!"Alex didn't say anything as tears streamed down his cheeks. Jamima was stunned and perplexed, and she suspected he was in pain."Does it hurt somewhere? Tell mother, and she won't let anyone go easily who dared to touch herprecious son!" Jamima yelled angrily."Alex thought mommy wouldn't come to see him!" helaughed nervously, " And that mommy despises Alex and does not want to see his face again, which is why Alex came here!"After hearing his words, her hands slipped off his shoulders. Sh
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE He wasn't sure if he should go inside because what if Alex didn't want him to visit him without his permission? He stood there for five minutes, pondering his next move. He could not decide whether to enter or not, so he sighed and turned the doorknob. The room was as cold as ice; without a doubt, he was hisson, and just like him, he enjoys being in cold places. He took a step forward and came to a halt at the foot of the bed. It was extremely peaceful to watch his sleeping son's face. He never imagined a day when he would have to make excuses to see his son; in fact, he never imagined a day when he would discover that he has a son. Alex's face was unmistakably similar to Daniel's, but the hatred feelings Daniel saw in his eyes earlier were identical to Jamima's. Daniel sat beside him on the bed, staring at his innocent and peaceful sleeping face.
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FOURDaniel almost trembled as he saw his son seated in front of him, disdain in his eyes for no one but his father. Everyone was aware of this, yet despite this, they were doing their best not to make this an embarrassing situation for their master.Alex was unaffected by his father since he saw him as the source of his entire mother's hatred towards himself. In addition, the fact that his father never wanted him in the first place explains why his mother despises Daniel.“You can call me Sophie if you want. “There's no need to be so formal,” Sophie said softly.Alex smiled at her and turned to face Daniel, adding sarcastically, "You see, Miss Sophie! We are raised to respect ladies in the werewolf realm, which you cannot conceive in the vampire realm.”It was obvious to whom this statement was meant. Not only Daniel, but everyone else was aware, and their little joyous mo
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-TWOJamima was sitting on the ground where her car had been blown up. Her heart was racing for some unknown reason. She put her hand on it and felt it. She understood why things were the way they were. She could not help but feel some familiar kind feelings when she saw him after such a long time, which she despised.'I can't be like this; I still need to exact my revenge on him, so why, why these strange feelings after all this time?' It had never happened before and made me feel as if I had nothing left for him, but only I know how I felt today.'She was trying to make sense of things when someone placed his hand on her shoulder, prompting her to look up to see who it was.Danny was the only one who was looking at her with concern. CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-ONE They searched the entire villa for the child, but he was nowhere to be found. They couldn't return unless they finished the task they were assigned. They knew it was their one and only chance, and they couldn't let it pass them by. Adrien devised a new strategy after they left empty-handed. And they both agreed to give it a shot together. It was now their only hope. "Let's do it; Daniel is probably waiting for us!" Frost indicated with a nod. They were about to carry out the plan when a little boy's soft voice said, "There's no need for that!" Adrien and Frost both turned around to see who said this and noticed a child standing in front of them. They both exchanged glances. Maybe he was the one they were looking for, but how could they be sure? "Are you...?" Adrien took a step towards him, but the child took a step back. "Alexander! You can address me as Alex! "The child r
