CHAPTER FIVE
"All right, here we are, go inside," she said as she gave me a nice hug, possibly because she was sad for me. Oh, she was my first acquaintance here.
I opened the door and entered a huge living room. I noticed him, who was sitting on a sofa, and approached him until I was standing in front of him.
Waiting for an explanation, I crossed my arms above my chest.
"Please don't irritate me or you'll live to regret it. In addition, I'm not in a good mood," he stated while standing. He vanished from my vision as he stood, and by the time I recognized it, he was standing in front of me, our eyes locked on one other.
He brushed up against my chin, causing me to look slightly upward in his direction. I wanted to turn away, but his hand kept my face fixed in place. I was terrified. I wanted to flee, but my body was mystically succumbing to him.
But my pride won out over my dread of him.
"Sorry about that! But you don't get it! I'm not something you can have or give away. I want to go home! Send me back home right away!" I yelled, yanking his fingers away from my chin.
He cocked his head to the right as he observed me, his fingers slipping from my face. My heartbeat quickened as he gave out a low, sexy chuckle.
To be honest, he was appealing in every way. And if I didn't have Danny, maybe... maybe for a split second, I considered giving him a chance.
"Do you think you have a say in this?" His speech was relaxed, and he seemed like he was having a good time. I despised it; it was like an adult speaking to a child. I couldn't keep my rage in check. Was he making fun of me?!
He cleared his throat, his tone growing low and difficult to hear.
"I was considering making you an assistant, but as you can see, the assistant role is plainly not for you; you can't seem to control your mouth. Then, slave, it is." He mumbled quietly to himself.
He looked at me again after a brief interval. I became much more enraged this time.
"It makes no difference to me whether you like the situation or not. Okay, darling?" He uttered this with disdain. His expression shifted from amusement and serene to emotionlessness.
Anxiety and panic surged through my body at the same time. But my wrath was more visible.
I was horrified by the expression in his eyes. I couldn't discern the emotions showing in his eyes. It seemed as if they were looking for something—something they had desired for a long time, but not as a possession, but as retribution!
"No!" I retaliated angrily at him.
"Whatever, now follow me," he shouted as he turned around, disregarding me totally.
This haughty jerk plainly didn't understand a word I said. I kept my gaze fixed on his back as he made his way to the stairway on the left. Okay, I had a strategy. It was silly, but I would go up the other staircase, found a door, and went into hiding till I figure out the next phase of the plan, which I also probably didn't know.
Regardless, I was desperate. As I stared at the staircase on the right side, calculating the distance and speed required, my pulse rate increased.
"Whatever you're thinking, don't dare to act on it. I'm not interested in your human drama. Aside from that, I'm starving." He said as he turned to face me, a death glare on his face.
I observed how angry he appeared when I looked at him. But before I could respond to his thread, he was behind me, his lips at my ear. I had no idea how he accomplished it, but it terrified the living daylights out of me.
"Don't tell me Sophie didn't tell you I'm a vampire! Darling, I'm not in a good mood right now. You will be sorry if you upset me." He spoke in my ear, his lips moving up and down my neck.
My entire body shivered as if something heavy had struck me. Then, in an instant, he was back in front of me, continuing to walk up the stairs.
My heart was racing as I recognized my opportunity. Was it worthwhile to take this risk? Do you mean right now? After he'd just given me a terrifying warning?
And if he is a vampire, I know they are fast, strong, and dangerous based on my knowledge of them. He appears to like all of these if not ten times worse. But why couldn't I figure it out?
But I couldn't let this opportunity pass by! With that notion, I dashed up the steps, heading for the right one. My heart was in my throat as I neared the summit. I turned around to check where he was, but I couldn't find him.
But then I felt someone's face next to my ear, and as I turned my head, he was there. "BOO!" my breath increased as I quickened my pace.
When I eventually made it to the top, I was exhausted. I quickly returned my gaze to him, thinking my approach had worked. He altered his posture to face me, crossing his arms across his chest. He appeared to be irritated.
I watched his lips move, and I had barely caught what he had just said before I started running again. Those words, though, sent shivers down my spine.
"You're going to regret that!"
Those five words shot shivers up my spine. They were enough to make me want to run as fast as I could, examining each door as I passed through it to see if it was open or not.
The first four doors I encountered were all locked. I despised the idea that I was squandering my time opening them.
Suddenly, I began to have panicked thoughts:
(1) If he is a vampire, why isn't he coming to capture me yet?
(2) I know I'm a long distance from home, but how can I return once I've left this place?
(3) What will happen if he discovers my whereabouts?
So, the solution to the third question was already known to me. It was obvious that it wasn't a case of 'whether he found me,' but of 'when he found me.'
I came to a halt in front of the final door, which was unlike any of the others. Fortunately, turning the knob, it got unlocked! *shocked*. I had no idea why it was unlocked, but I wasn't in a position to inquire.
After entering, I quietly closed the door without making a sound and gazed around the light room. It was stylish and spacious, with a king-sized bed. On each side of the room, there were two doors. The whole room was enormous. Giving it a fancy appearance while also giving it a strange feeling.
A glimmer of optimism passed through me as I looked across the room at the drapes. However, as I uncovered them, I found it was a balcony.
My initial idea had failed, so I considered hiding on the Balcony. So many thoughts began to enter my mind, such as what if I couldn't get out of here?
Did he plan all of this? Did he know I was going to try to flee? What if this was his room that's why it wasn't locked? Was this all part of his plan to keep me hidden in his room?
The hall was filled with the sound of footsteps.
The door to the room crashed open and then quickly closed. My heart rate increased as I realized death was approaching.
"I'm not a fan of hide and seek, but I assume you are." When I heard Wood creak, I imagined him leaning against the door.
"I adore that you chose to hide in my room, but it's not like you're going to leave anytime soon, or even alive," he explained.
"I can hear and smell you, sweetie, your rising heartbeat, your aroma, by the way, you smell really lovely, sweet and inviting," he chuckled slightly. "I'm aware of your whereabouts. Your heart is racing so fast. You appear to be afraid."
I heard knives rubbing against each other to sharpen them.
"You know I enjoy playing games, especially those involving life and death," he said. "I think you'll appreciate it because it's a game you created yourself."
My heart raced against my chest as I listened to him, locked in place.
DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE A REVIEW BEHIND.
CHAPTER SIX "I have three knives in my hand. I'm going to toss them all at you. You have five seconds after I throw the first one to come out and beg for your life. You have three seconds after I throw the second. You have no time limit with the third one." He was correct; I had been scared before, but now I was terrified. I was trembling. I didn't want to die, especially not here or in this way. "Let's get started," were the last words I heard before I felt excruciating pain in my left arm. As I knelt on my knees, a low scream escaped my lips. My cheeks began to flush with tears. I noticed a blood-splattered knife on the marble floor. My arm was scraped just below the elbow. It began to bleed more than it should have for a scrape. "Okay, are you still not coming?" He spoke softly. I knew I couldn't take it any longer. If one could inflict this much pain, I'd die once he threw the other two. He counted c
CHAPTER SIX "You were given instructions, rules, and instructions on what you should do from now on. You were supposed to accept it whether you liked it or not. You don't have a choice, do you? "He said it coldly. "Because I won't be so nice the next time." His hand stroked my cheeks before moving to my arm. His fingers probed my wound. "Hey, what the hell is wrong with your arm?" he inquired, perplexed. I was startled when I noticed a yellowish light emanating from the wound on my arm. "Wait, you're a vampire, too?" he exclaimed, surprised. In response, I shook my head. What is he on about, me or the vampire? It's not possible. "A werewolf?" he inquired once more. "What?" I asked, perplexed, what the hell is that werewolf? Are they even real? I'm not sure if vampires can, then any other supernatural can. Wait, what about witches, fairies, and werewolves too? "THEN WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU HE
CHAPTER SEVEN "I swear I won't do it aga-" Before I could finish my sentence, he pressed his face against the center of my neck, and a small gasp escaped my mouth as his lips moved to my neck and kissed the spot where my heartbeat could be felt. Chills spread across my body as I felt his mouth open and his teeth slowly nibble on my neck. His teeth sunk into my skin with ease, causing pain. I began to fight back, and I was constantly struggling in my situation to be free. But he ignored me and kept me where I was. His teeth seemed to sink deeper and deeper, and with each movement, more pain spread throughout my body. I was trembling in my place beneath his massive appearance. "S-Stop!" I stammered, but he ignored me. "Stop!" I said it louder this time than the previous one, but he did nothing but ignore me. "Stop, it's excruciatingly painful!" I exclaimed. Iscreamed, and tears streamed down
CHAPTER SEVEN The next morning, I awoke to a loud bang on the door and saw a girl walking in with some maid clothes in her hands. I tried to stand up, but due to the previous incident, I couldn't even make myself sit in my seat. My body appeared to be sore, and every joint seemed to be in excruciating pain. I kept a close eye on the girl as she came to a complete stop right in front of me. She looked at me from head to toe, a disgusted expression on her face. I remained silent because I had no idea whether she was a vampire or a regular human being, and I never want to make it difficult for myself to live thereby making unnecessary enemies. All I wanted was to leave this place safely and without getting into any fights with anyone, whether it was with a senior vampire or just a maid, so the best option for me was to remain silent and calmly endure her every word. After thoroughly inspecting me and determining that I would not
CHAPTER EIGHTEENI was running like a stupid person, ignoring everyone around me because at that time the only thing running in my mind was, how to reach my destination as soon as possible?Having only one aim in mind, I don't know when I slammed into a bunch of people on my way. But to be honest, it was their fault to stand in the middle of nowhere. They were too strong that after colliding with them I fell on the ground but they were standing still on their spot as nothing has happened."Ouch..." I said rubbing my knees which were now bleeding from the wound which I get recently.I moved my face to see with whom I have just collided and get terrified by the fierce look in their eyes. They all were looking at me like some predator was looking at his prey. They seemed ready to eat me at any moment, right there and right now."So-sorry," I said stuttering, terrified of their continuing gaze at me."Stand up,"
CHAPTER EIGHTEENTHIRD PERSON'S POV,She was befuddled when she opened her eyes and saw everybody beaten up on the ground. She narrowed her eyes in disarray and looked towards where Samantha was standing frightened to the center of death. She tried to ask her, what occurred here when she signaled her to look behind her back. As she motioned towards her back, Jamima felt somebody's essence and she knew what its identity was. She could never forget the scent of that aroma. She breathlessly looked behind her and her breath get stuck in her throat. Her body felt a shock taking a gander at irate Daniel's face. She makes her strides back as Daniel made his strides towards her. She was shaking since she understood what he will do to her once again. She knows the amount of agony from which she suffered the last night. She continued making her strides back until her back hit the stopping po
CHAPTER NINETEENDaniel was chuckling hearing what she just said. She actually thinks that her folks are innocent and they know nothing about my actual identity. Jamima was seeing his snickering face and attempt to comprehend what has she said so funny that now he is chuckling, studiedly?"For what reason are you chuckling?" she asked, puzzled."Oh, don't you know why I'm laughing? All things considered, no issue! allow me to disclose to you at that point, I'm laughing at you since I have never seen someone as thick-headed as you," he clarified. Each word emerging from his mouth was disgustingly directed towards her. He was consistently insulting her in every possible way. Perhaps, he was not punishing her physically however mentally."Wh-what do you mean?" she asked, controlling herself from saying something wrong towards him which will make challenges for her own self, later.Daniel drew nearer t
CHAPTER TWENTYJamima was sitting in Daniel's car, heading to her home, and she doesn't know for what cause? He was unostentatiously focusing on driving the car while on other hand, she was dying to ask him a ton of questions that were rising in her mind, constantly. However, the most intriguing question for her was, why are they heading to her home when he knows that her parents are out of the country and by going there how might he substantiate himself right and her wrong? These questions were bombing in her mind when he said, "Just ask it since you know it's an oddity that kills the cat."She sighed before saying anything and with gathering all her courage she began, "For what reason, we going to my house?""You will know soon," was his response to her question. Her mouth fell open listening to his response to the question which was so intriguing to her. Is this even consider an answer? she thought, taking a gander at h
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-SIX One Week Later "Mother, wake up!" Alex said, gently moving Jamima's arm. Let's go get something to eat." Jamima blinked, rubbing her eyes, and saw his son standing in front ofher, worriedly looking at her. She lifted her head from the bed and smiled at him. She was sleeping tightly, sitting on the chair with her head on the bed. She hadn't slept in a week due to the incident with Daniel. "I'm not hungry. You go ahead and eat somethinguncle Adrien," she said, putting her head back on the bed and closing her eyes. "However, mom-" "Where is Danny?" Jamima asked, her eyes closed. "He's preoccupied with the vampire realm. He stated that before things returned to normal; he would do his best to handle the situation on both sides. Besides, he'd already signed the peace treaty with the vampires," Alex responded. "Did
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FOURTY-FIVE Alex took a step towards his father, who was looking at him with the affection he had always expected from his mother but had never received even a smidgeon of. His steps were small but filled with fear. He was terrified that the moment he reached him, he would lose him for the rest of his life. He knew his father was doing everything he could to hold him in his arms one last time. And once that is completed, he will no longer be fighting for his life. He didn't want to go near him, but he also wanted to relieve his pain as soon as possible. He was aware that his father was in pain but still forced a smile on his face to not to scare him. "Father, please don't leave!" he said as he took another step forward. " Make a promise to me that you will not leaveAlex alone." Daniel extended his hand to him, and he took it right away. Daniel drew him in closer, and Alex sat beside him and h
CHAPTER ONE HUNDERD FORTY-SEVEN"What a wonderful reunion we have here!" There was a voice, and everyone turned their heads to see Belen Ace holding Alex with a gun pointed at his heart. The gun was designed specifically to kill vampires. Asingle bullet to the heart. And they are dead. They were all frozen when they saw Alex with Belen. Jamima began to tremble as her gaze was drawn to the gun at his heart."Now, now, now.... Tell your men to stop fighting or else," he said, pushing his gun against Alex, harder.Daniel looked at Danny and nodded, his fists clenched. Danny issued orders for everyone to surrender and stop fighting."How does it feel to be hopeless and act like your enemy's puppy?" Belen smirked. They didn't say anything because they didn't want to irritate Belen. Making him angry will only cause Alex harm, which neither of them desired."Father, it's all right! You don't have to do wh
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-SIXWhen he decided to come here, he reasoned that his mother would not bother to save him, and he also wanted answers to his questions. He wanted to know why his father didn't want him and why his mother fought for him but still doesn't love him.His hands trembled as he hugged her again. "Baby, what happened?" Jamima asked, breaking the hug,"Why are you shaking? Don't be afraid, baby. Mommy has arrived!"Alex didn't say anything as tears streamed down his cheeks. Jamima was stunned and perplexed, and she suspected he was in pain."Does it hurt somewhere? Tell mother, and she won't let anyone go easily who dared to touch herprecious son!" Jamima yelled angrily."Alex thought mommy wouldn't come to see him!" helaughed nervously, " And that mommy despises Alex and does not want to see his face again, which is why Alex came here!"After hearing his words, her hands slipped off his shoulders. Sh
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE He wasn't sure if he should go inside because what if Alex didn't want him to visit him without his permission? He stood there for five minutes, pondering his next move. He could not decide whether to enter or not, so he sighed and turned the doorknob. The room was as cold as ice; without a doubt, he was hisson, and just like him, he enjoys being in cold places. He took a step forward and came to a halt at the foot of the bed. It was extremely peaceful to watch his sleeping son's face. He never imagined a day when he would have to make excuses to see his son; in fact, he never imagined a day when he would discover that he has a son. Alex's face was unmistakably similar to Daniel's, but the hatred feelings Daniel saw in his eyes earlier were identical to Jamima's. Daniel sat beside him on the bed, staring at his innocent and peaceful sleeping face.
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FOURDaniel almost trembled as he saw his son seated in front of him, disdain in his eyes for no one but his father. Everyone was aware of this, yet despite this, they were doing their best not to make this an embarrassing situation for their master.Alex was unaffected by his father since he saw him as the source of his entire mother's hatred towards himself. In addition, the fact that his father never wanted him in the first place explains why his mother despises Daniel.“You can call me Sophie if you want. “There's no need to be so formal,” Sophie said softly.Alex smiled at her and turned to face Daniel, adding sarcastically, "You see, Miss Sophie! We are raised to respect ladies in the werewolf realm, which you cannot conceive in the vampire realm.”It was obvious to whom this statement was meant. Not only Daniel, but everyone else was aware, and their little joyous mo

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FORTY-ONE They searched the entire villa for the child, but he was nowhere to be found. They couldn't return unless they finished the task they were assigned. They knew it was their one and only chance, and they couldn't let it pass them by. Adrien devised a new strategy after they left empty-handed. And they both agreed to give it a shot together. It was now their only hope. "Let's do it; Daniel is probably waiting for us!" Frost indicated with a nod. They were about to carry out the plan when a little boy's soft voice said, "There's no need for that!" Adrien and Frost both turned around to see who said this and noticed a child standing in front of them. They both exchanged glances. Maybe he was the one they were looking for, but how could they be sure? "Are you...?" Adrien took a step towards him, but the child took a step back. "Alexander! You can address me as Alex! "The child r
