"Yeah, you should!" Nancy laughed
Hannah frowned as she stood up and faced Nancy. When Karen saw that Hannah was acting weird, she immediately called Nancy to make fun of her. But when Nancy heard about it, she couldn't help it. She wanted to see her breakdown with her own eyes.
"Nancy" Hannah whispered.
"Hello, step sister"
"What are you doing here?""I called her" Karen joined Nancy and they both smiled at each other.
"You know, I hate you for stealing Sebastian but our common hate for Hannah is stronger" Nancy high-fived Karen.
"I didn't steal Sebastian. It's not my fault that he is crazy about me" Karen bragged and made a smug face.
She mainly wanted Hannah to listen to her words but nothing seemed to affect her. She was looking at both of them innocently with questionable eyes.
Nancy strolled into her room and entered her closet unbeknownst to Hannah, who seemed to
•Sebastian POV• Small steps were all I could manage as I followed the guards. In my terrified mind, every breath of wind was as loud as a blood-curdling scream. I saw a couple of the guards standing in a circle. They looked my way and stepped aside immediately. My eyes fell on the figure laying on the floor. Several long strides brought me to her side. My mind stopped working the second I saw her crumpled onto the floor like she wasn't even alive. I suddenly felt light-headed and a bit disoriented. My mind began buzzing with the voices. I whipped a sweat from my brow, trying to block the memory of what happened between us last night. I made her like this... I was the reason she looked almost dead. This is what I wanted, isn't it? I wanted her to be miserable... I wanted her to lose the will to live just like she did to me but now watching her like this made me even more miserable. This should make me satisfied! I should be delighted watching her l
•Movie Nights• They were at Sebastian's penthouse, watching a movie. Sebastian's arms were wrapped around her shoulders tightly. She felt protected and loved in his embrace. She was sitting between his legs while her upper body was resting on his chest. She was stroking his arms affectionately. Sebastian pulled a blanket over them to keep her warm and comfortable. Box of a half-eaten pizza, open bags of chips, drinks, and pints of chocolate ice cream was scattered before them on the coffee table. This was their favorite way of spending time with one another. Every Saturday night, Sebastian would pick her up and they would spend the night at his penthouse. Where they were alone, no friends, no family, no drama, just Sebastian and Hannah. Sebastian would occasionally kiss her hair or the side of her head or her cheek. He'd tease her or make her laugh by making crazy, stupid noises. He'd laugh and make fun when people died in movies but
He woke up from his deep slumber and found no one beside him. He didn't remember when was the last time he has had a good night's sleep. He did his daily routine and got ready for the day. He went downstairs and the first thing he did was to look for her. She was sitting in the living room dressed up in a professional outfit, her hair tied up. He furrowed his eyebrows confused out of his mind. Her aimless gaze landed on him and she immediately stood up. "How are you?" He asked "I'm okay..." She answered not meeting his eyes. "Did you have breakfast?" He asked. She shook her head in negative. "No..." "Come on," he said to her and she walked behind him with her head down. Karen was already sitting at the breakfast table when Sebastian walked in with Hannah behind him. Karen eyed both of them, Sebastian didn't come to his bedroom last night and it made her think that Hannah was be
The door to Sebastian's office burst open frightening both of them. George Harding stood there like a deer caught in the headlights. The scene in front of him made his cheeks red with embarrassment. Sebastian's hair disheveled, his coat resting on the back of his seat, the first four buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned. While Hannah's shirt was wrinkled and she was trying to pull her pencil skirt down that hiked up when she straddled him. George turned to go back out but he nervously walked into his office again. He shook his head and went back outside but nervously walked inside again. He was confused and ashamed for barging into his son's office like that when he was having a private moment with his wife. "I need to fire Eric" Sebastian made a mental note. "Dad?" He was the first to break the awkward silence. "I'll come back later," George said. "Hello, Hannah, good to see you" he smiled "Mr. Harding, i
The next morning, Hannah woke up and did her daily routine. She dressed up professionally, tied her hair. She heaved a sigh and stared at herself in the mirror. Sebastian's apology from last night played in her mind over and over again. She dreamed of him saying those words to her. She wished that he'd call her Anna one more time. She yearned for his warm hugs and his sweet words and last night when he finally did all those things... She couldn't feel anything. And the thought scared her. What if she is never able to love again. She closed her eyes and reminisced about their past love life. She then remembered how he protected her when no one else did. How he always knew what she needed just by reading the look on her face. How he always knew how to cheer her up. How his presence gave her strength to endure the abuse she received. Tears poured down her face but she smiled... She smiled because she felt it... She felt her heart glowing once a
Sebastian looked around her office. He could clearly see that she decorated it by herself. Everything in her office was just so her... He smiled to himself. He saw pictures hanging on the wall. He walked closer and it was her mother's pictures, she indeed was her spitting image. Then there were some family pictures. Then it was her pictures with her friends and her life at NYU, some pictures of her convocation and lastly, it was him and her. His smile immediately fell and got replaced with a frown. The pictures of their young love. His mouth opened, his body didn't move, his heart pounded against his ribs as if trying to fulfill a thousand beats, his pupils dilated. Hannah had his pictures in her office. Their pictures from their first date, to high school graduation, prom, their first anniversary, when they went to the beach, everything was there. "Seb..." she whispered. "Why do you have our pictures in your offi
They were back home after their little trip to New York City. Hannah finally felt relieved, the constant fear she had in her mind before wasn't there anymore. Sebastian had been nothing but cooperative to everything she wanted. Her bedroom didn't feel like a prison anymore. She knew she owe Sebastian an apology too and maybe finally tell him everything but she was afraid of his reaction. He was an impatient, impulsive, and hot-headed man. She was worried about how he may react after knowing everything. Someone knocked on the door while she was doing her hair. "Come in," she said concentrating on her hairstyle. It was difficult to tie her long, volumized hair in a bun. "Hey," Sebastian said standing behind her in the mirror. Her eyes connected with his in the mirror and a small cute smile graced her lips. "Good morning!" she said rather cheerfully as she finally put in the last bobby pin. "Mor
•The Breakup• "Hey!" he jogged to her rather cheerfully. "Hey" She replied monotonously and crossed her arms across her chest. He closed the distance between them by placing his hands on both of her cheeks and putting his lips on hers. She pulled her lips in and pushed on his chest that made him step back immediately. "What's wrong, babe?" He asked when he saw her solemn expressions She shrugged. "Everything" "What do you mean?" "This, Sebastian... Us!" She said emphasizing more on the word “us”. "Babe, is everything alright?" He asked holding her arms gently and rubbing them up and down. She jerked his hands away from her. He was taken aback by her action. "Hey... What's wrong, baby?" She went poker-faced. "We need to break up," "What?" He laughed. "Is this some kind of prank? Are getting back at me because I threw a spider on you the other day?" He chuckl
••10 YEARS LATER•• Hannah felt a tiny body straddling her stomach and lightly jumping on it. She stirred in her sleep. "Wake up, mommy! Wake up!" A tiny voice screamed enthusiastically. Hannah rolled to the side and the tiny body got off her. Someone tried to pull their blanket from the edge of the bed. Hannah's eyes shot open when she remembered that they were naked under the sheets. She gripped the sheet tightly and nudged Sebastian. He groaned and snuggled into her more."Seb!" She whisper-yelled. "Mommy, you are awake" Damon's eyes lit up. Damon, her two-year-old son straddled her again. "Hi, mommy" His beautiful eyes twinkled. "Hi, baby! I am awake, now, why don't you wake daddy up" She told him and Damon looked towards Sebastian and jumped on his chest. "Holy Fuck!" Sebastian shouted. "Seb!" She scolded. "Holy fuck!" Damon yelled exub
••Third Month Of Pregnancy••He gently kissed her tiny 3 months belly."Daddy loves you," he talked to her belly. He then trailed his hand from her stomach to the valley between her breast and placed it on her neck, squeezed it a bit. He pulled her towards him from her neck. "And daddy loves you the most" he whispered and pecked on her lips.He walked back to his desk in a hurry."Sebastian, I am trying to have a conversation with you," She said frustratedly."I am listening, my love," He said concentrating on the file before him."Really?" She questioned and crossed her arms over her chest, raising an eyebrow."Then tell me what I just said" She challenged.Sebastian scratched the back of his neck nervously. "You... Were... Telling me about your new collection specifically for pregnant women" he said, feeling proud of himself.
Sebastian and Hannah got married in a small intimate ceremony in Venice. She designed her wedding dress almost identical to her mother's. Hannah invited all of her friends and Sebastian just had Eric by his side. John officiated their marriage. Eric was the best man. Violet was the ring bearer. Scarlet was the maid of honor again. Pearl was the flower girl and Luke walked her down the aisle. When they reached Sebastian, Luke did a very bad Mason Clarke impression. "Take care of her" he cried making a horrendous face. That made Hannah, Sebastian, and everyone present at the scene burst into laughter. It was the craziest and most dysfunctional wedding but they all had immense fun because they were happy. After their wedding, Hannah moved to Richmonte and decided to open a C&W franchise there. Sebastian and Hannah opened a joint account and bought a new house together. Hannah was in charge of designing it. They broke t

He got out and almost ran towards the door. He knocked on the door and waited. He could hear light footsteps approaching as the door unlocked and her angelic face came into his view. He eyed her up and down as she was fully dressed. Her eyes lit up. "You are back from work? This early?" He crossed his arms across his chest and leaned against the doorframe with a sly smirk on his face. "And whose fault is that?" She looked at him perplexed. "I don't know..." With his thumb and forefinger, he gripped her chin. "Anna, that was very naughty of you" She stared at him confused. "What was?" "You don't know?" He asked and she shook her head.
•A WEEK LATER• Hannah stayed in Richmonte but not at her father's house. She and Sebastian had rented out a motel room, where they'd spend time together without anyone knowing. They just got back together with no more obstacles in their way, they wanted to keep it private. They wanted to keep it just between them. She showered and tied a towel around herself. She came out and faced a large mirror that was in the corner of the room and untied the towel making it fall and pool around her feet. She picked up a victoria secret bag and took out black lingerie. "It's okay, it's time. I want it, I want to know what it feels like" She talked to herself. The past week, Sebastian didn't go past making out. He'd make up an excise or he'd just fall asleep. He was treating her like she was made of glass even before kissing her he asked for permission a few times. They weren't teens anymore. She wasn't a scared little girl anymore! W
The next morning, Hannah woke up and stretched her body. She lazily strolled to the bathroom. After showering, she stepped down the stairs to eat something. She was famished as the night before she didn't have anything. Her nostrils filled with the lingering fumes of frying bacon. She followed the delicious smell and came into their dining room. She made her way to the table and slid into a seat. Mason came a few moments later and joined his daughter. Hannah frowned. "Where's Eva? I hadn't seen her since I came back" Mason glanced at her as the staff served them breakfast. "We got divorced" Hannah's eyes widened. "When?" "After you left..." "You've been living here alone since then?" Hannah asked, her heart suddenly feeling heavy for her father. "I have always been alone" He shrugged nonchalantly as he cut into his omelet. Hannah pursed his lips. "But still it must
••ANOTHER MONTH LATER•• Hannah and Luke walked out of the C&W to get lunch. John joined them and kissed Luke. "Aw, look at you two" Hannah fangirled over her best friend's relationship. She was their biggest hype-women. A second later, Pearl came running out of the building as well. "Hey! Don't leave without me!" She shrieked as she caught up with them. They all bickered over where to eat and who will pay for it. It was their thing. A lunch ritual. It started when they were in college and they still hadn't let go of it. "Hannah..." Someone called her. She turned to her side and saw the person she never thought she'd ever see again. Hannah's smile fell and got replaced with a confused, bewildered look. "Karen..." She breathed out. It had been almost a year since Hannah last saw her. She suddenly remembered the day Sebastian threw her out of his house and everyth
She packed her bags and descended the stairs. Reynolds came behind her with her luggage. She saw Sebastian standing there, his hands in his pockets as he stared at the wall mindlessly. She approached him. "Sebastian..." "Hmm?" He asked, staring at nothing in particular. "I... Just wanted to say... Thank you for everything. I couldn't have done it without you." She said, tucking her hair behind her ear. He turned towards her and gazed at her face mindlessly. He wanted to hold her, hug her, kiss her, love her but he just smiled sadly. He looked down at the ground and then back at her. "You would have..." He said. "You didn't need me. You always had it in you, Hannah. You did that all by yourself, I did nothing." She smiled and stared into his eyes. He was trying to avoid eye contact with her. He looked everywhere but her face. Reynolds came and opened the car door for her. She looked between th
•Revenge• ••TWO YEARS AFTER HANNAH LEFT•• "Where is it?" He shouted running a hand through his messy hair. His mother came running behind him as he turned his room upside down looking for something. He flipped off the mattress from the bed and pulled out all of his clothes from his closet. "WHERE DID YOU PUT IT?!" He shouted at his mother and she flinched. "Sebastian, my baby boy, it's for the best" She cried helplessly as she followed him around his room. "No, I need it, I need it, I NEED IT!" He frustratedly pulled on his hair. He slapped his face multiple times, and then scratched his cheeks. Florence held his hands in hers trying to stop him from hurting himself. He harshly pulled his mother in for a hug. "I will kill myself, mum. Please, I can't live without it" He cried over her shoulder. "Please, mum, just this last time. I promise then I'll stop..." He sobbed hysterically like
