Alessia's POV

I hate being on breaks away from school, spending time in the midst of my family stresses me a whole lot. You only get to spend time off on a weekend when you are out with a family member or your betrothed. In actual truth, I am not a fan of my own family life. After pleading with Allen to take me out of the house, he finally agreed after a five dollar bribe.

I despise how much Allen loves money. I would love to wring his neck. But, today I have decided being violent won't help. I had run a quick call at Collin, we talked for a while. Judging by the way he sounded, he isn't really keen on stepping out of his house. Also, I intend to be more cautious of my movement with him. To avoid getting seen in a cozy moment.

Patrick still hasn't told me about any plan that he might be working towards as regards the awful union our families are trying so hard to make on our behalf. I should really make a run for it, but there is no way I am leaving Collin here all alone without me.
