I lay still, listening to the voices surrounding me, the beep of the machines, the sound of doctors and visitors. Just as I was about to drift off, a new voice entered the room. “Everyone out,” he ordered with his firm and authoritative tone.

I recognized the voice, and my heart skipped a beat. Ashton, what is he doing here? My mind started racing and wondering what Ashton was upto and I also thought about all the things the nurses said and how they claimed he looked at me.

As the room cleared, Ashton sat beside me, took my hands in his, he rubbed it slowly, his warm touch was so comforting. I felt a sense of calm wash over me. “I hope you get better soon, can’t wait to see you open your eyes.” I heard him mumbling.

Confusion grew in me as I began to wonder why he cared so much about me, so I opened my eyes to look at him.

He was taken aback but a smile spread across his face. “Eva, you’re awake,” he said with his voice filled with shock and relief.

I stormed back into my room, pacing back and forth as I tried to process my thoughts. Rebecca’s audacity to make my pack mates suffer, ignites a fire in me, she won’t get away with this, but I need to be careful about my plans, because those two won’t mind killing me like they tried to before, so I need to sketch out plans on how to go about my revenge, I wouldn’t just rush in without a strategy.“I’ll devote the next two days to draft out my plans, no matter how difficult it will be, I must save my pack, I’ll make sure she suffers for all of her action” I said to myself with so much confidence. Over the next two days, I spent every spare moment plotting my revenge. I pored over every detail, every possible scenario, “should I attack her directly? Should I set an Ambush? Should I use Allies?” I asked myself, trying to anticipate every move Rebecca could make. But despite my best efforts, things just weren't adding up. I couldn't seem to come up with a plan that felt solid. As I s

I was finally out of Aston house, my heart racing with every step I took, I walked for over an hour. “I can see my pack house from a distance.” I said to myself, as excitement grew inside me. I stopped for some moments to think of my next action, but nothing seems to be coming to my head. “Let’s go back, it’s too dangerous,” I could hear my wolf warning, “but I’ve come this far, and I’m not turning back without getting to see my pack mates.” I said my voice shaking with fear. The whole pack was surrounded by Jerome men, but I was able to get inside my pack house through the back door, I had to hide behind a pillar to see what was happening. As I stood there, my heart racing, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash over me. The sight of my pack members, tied and helpless, was like a punch to the gut. “Alpha!!! The pack is under attack,” the weak and anxious voice of Diego came through my mind link, sending a jolt of fear through me.“How is that possible?” I inquired, my mind racing with disbelief and concern, furrowing my brow in worry.“Looks like they had insider information, cause they were able to get past the pack border without being noticed,” Diego replied, his voice trembling with uncertainty.“Tell all women, children, and elders to go into their various hiding cellars, and no matter what, I repeat, no matter what, if I haven’t given the order to retreat, no one should come out of their hiding places,” my voice laced with authority as I ordered Diego. My eyes flashed with determination and resolve.“Diego, find a way to inform Greg of the situation, and also send for he…” Before I could finish my order, I was hit in the side by a strong force, sending me flying to the ground, my body tensing with shock and pain.My eyes took the sight of men standing before me, while my

Don't tell me you’re starting to feel the mate bond?” She grabbed onto his arm, blinking her lashes at him, her lips pouted.“Don’t worry, love, I just want her to be willing to transfer power to me. You know that’ll be better than forcefully taking it from her,” Jerome reassured her, smoothing back her hair. His voice was soft, almost soothing. “And that arrow is poisoned with wolfsbane,” he added, turning to stare at me, his smile turning sinister.“Bastards!!!” I screamed, already feeling the poison seeping into my system. No matter how fast my healing ability was, I couldn’t fight the power of wolfsbane. Wolfsbane was the most lethal way to kill a wolf, whether in any form—drug, weapon, handcuffs, chain, or whatsoever. My
