Amelia's POV The morning was less eventful than a Bingo night in my pack, even though there was some excitement, nothing really ever happened and was really quiet, besides the occasional cheek kisses from Grayson of course. Breakfast consisted of the usual oatmeal and orange juice, with my hand wrapped around his, we spent it in the mess hall talking about what's like in therapy or back in his pack. He was very proud to know I was doing well in learning my duties as a Luna and I was very proud to know he was doing very well in his therapy sessions. He seemed to hold my hand as if it was made of glass and I relished in the feeling of his warmth around my cold dainty ones. It felt comforting and really nice to have someone cherish you like they are going to lose you, granted he was by my side every second of the morning, but I liked him next to me. His brother seemed really happy that we were sorting things out and he enjoyed the fact that we were getting to know each other, he practic
Amelia's POV I went back to Grayson's pack with a big smile on my face, my lips still tingling from his kiss and heart still beating rapidly from his touch. Luna _ had a smirk plastered on her face as she saw my expression after meeting with her son, she obviously felt smug from my face and nudged my on the shoulder with a questioning eyebrow."So, how was the meet-up?" she grinned as we drove into the forest. I blushed as I tried to fight the smile that oh so wanted to appear on my face, I tried to hold back all my emotions."Uh, it was interesting," I said as I tried to keep my cool, but after a few seconds, I failed myself and a big smile had etched its way onto my face and a very amused expression appeared on Luna _s face."Interesting huh? I can practically smell him on you!" she squeals in delight and it instantly made me wonder if she was actually younger than she looked, Luna _ was basically acting like a fangirling teenager. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks and looked away
Amelia's POV The sound of my beating heart rang in my ears as I dodged another attack, my right arm swinging to come into contact with a cheek and it made a very harsh 'whack' sound and I could feel my knuckles breaking under the pressure. Sweat dripped down my forehead as I swung my leg around which succeedingly knocked my opponent to the ground, losing their balance I swung my body on top of them and gave them two hard punches on the cheeks before the person had regained their strength and pushed me off them. I breathed in deeply as I saw my opponent smirk tauntingly and before I could do anything they punched me square on my jaw and I could feel blood seeping through the broken skin, I growled at them.I swung my right arm again which hit them on the nose making them take a step back as I hit them in the stomach causing them to groan loudly as they gripped their stomach. I took this chance to throw my punches quickly making sure to hit every pressure point until they shouted out '
Grayson's POV Having Amelia in my arms soothed me to the point my wolf was content, the past few weeks have been hectic, my wolf and my skin side are slowly coming into balance with each other and Irene and I have fixed up the patches that I had made to our relationship. Her mark on her shoulder had started to clear up well that only a little bit of redness still circled around my mark. It felt good to have her in my arms, her lips on mine and her mind completely opening up so I can tell what she's feeling, but of course, I could tell anyway. It felt weird to experience so much affection, but I liked it too much to let go of Irene. Her head was buried in the crook of my neck and my head was also doing the same thing as I peppered her neck with loving kisses making her shiver under my touch. Her scent was too strong for me that it made my legs weaken, the pull of the Moon to strong for either us to ignore. We both loved this moment too much to ever seem to let go, one of us had too. I
Amelia's POV I sat down at the right side of the head of the table, the future Luna must sit here, next to her mate at dinner. It was something that I had learned from my Luna studies and luckily this was one of the things that I could remember from the amount of information being crammed into my brain. I felt awkward sitting at the head of the table, each family member was staring at me with their judgmental eyes and views and I took a shaky breath as my nerves haywire everywhere. This was the first time I was having dinner with the whole entire Roman family and right now, it didn't seem like a family at all. I miss my family.I tried to avoid their piercing gazes, trying to concentrate on the hand which was clamped over mine, his thumb rubbing over the top of my hand as he tried to create a conversation with his family, but failing miserably as they gave short answers. I sighed as the maids finally brought plates of food on the table, roast chicken, mashed potatoes, ribs and other
Third Person's POV All eyes were on the infamous pair. Grayson's stance was stiff, his eyes zoning on every family member, trying to see if any of them would protest of what would happen, challenging to speak up to the Alpha. But, none had spoken, their tails tucked underneath them as their necks were being pointed towards him, showing submission and he breathed out in triumph. His eyes went over to Amelia who painfully clutched his left hand to the point he could not even feel it, orange pursued within her showing how tense she was, how uncomfortable she was and the faintest of blue which indicated her sadness. His heart jerked at the sight of her, his wolf pleading to comfort her, but he knew it would make matters worse if he was to do that in front of everyone. Everyone was too uncomfortable and the air was thick to do something so calming. "Dinner's dismissed, sorry," he told everyone and stood up quickly, tugging on Amelia's hand as an indication to follow him. She took the h
Grayson's POV My family sat in my office, my sister next to my parents and my brother who seemed to understand what would be happening. They all looked at me expectedly, their eyes trained on me, waiting for something to happen. Kayla's gaze was hard, she was tense. Her hormones practically leeched out of her, she was quite mad for someone who woke up pretty early in the morning, she was a morning person. My mother and father were looking at me curiously, but their gazes were solely on me and I could see the annoyance for waking up earlier than when they should be awake, but this matter was too urgent to not happen later. "What all of you did yesterday was unacceptable, Mitchell, you of all people should've at least said something. Kayla, you were out of line and mother, father, you too." I told them with command laced in my voice. Kayla was fidgeting in her seat afterwards, her hard gaze still remained on me as my mother and father nodded ever so slowly. "But brother, she-" Ka
Amelia's POV I went downstairs after I took a shower, the worry was still settled in the pit of my stomach as I somehow found my way to the kitchen dressed in grey sweatpants that hung low on my lips and a thin white long-sleeved shirt which had revealed the outline of my bra until I put a singlet underneath it. I took a deep breath in as pushed the doors open where I saw a couple of the maids tending to the breakfast for the day. The dining room, open kitchen and the living room were being taken over by the smell of fried meat and freshly made bread which was baking in the oven. Once the maids saw me they bowed in respect and I did the same and they continued on preparing for the family's arrival. I sat on one of the seats next to the kitchen where I just observed the maids from afar as they cooked and cleaned. There were about four maids for the day, and I had yet to learn their names. They were a constant in this room and I liked to see some regularity in my day as I visited the
