Maya
“Am I lost?” I repeated, staring at him cautiously.
This familiar man was clothed in an expensive coat. His shoes could stand out anywhere, so as the ring which was wrapped around his fingers.
His hair was dark, with little strikes of blue and he appeared elder. I could smell that he was a vampire, yet, I couldn’t dismiss the fact that his presence radiated authority.
Delilah said no one in the palace was my friend. The elderly man stepped nearer; I took a step back immediately in fright.
“Fret not, dear. I’m King Vladmir, Javier’s father.”
He said, taking another step towards me. This time I didn’t move an inch. I was on spot, appalled by this revelation. King Vladmir took my hands, raising it to his chin.
“Such translucent skin and a pretty face. My son caught himself a gorgeous bride, I must say.” he murmured, kissing the top of my palms.
“Thanks, I’m delighted you think so. Have we by any chance met?”
I asked, with a broad smile on how he knew I was his son’s wife. There was this familiarity in his presence I couldn’t lay my hands on…
“I saw the servants bring you in, unconscious if that’s what you mean, dear.” Vladmir stated, with a smirk.
“Oh…”
I didn’t think of that…
“Why don’t you come drink with me, Maya? My chambers aren’t far off from here--"
“I’m afraid I must get going, Your Highness. My husband awaits me,” I breathed out, in panic.
“Ah, love it can’t be that bad you know.” The King leaned in whispering. “All pretty women in the palace belong to me.”
My eyes widened at his words. “W-What are you insinuating?”
“Someone so attractive and beautiful as you deserve the optimum best.” he replied, with a grin. “Bed me and I’ll grant you so much power than my son can ever give you.”
It was almost like I couldn’t believe my ears. Was this old man plotting something or this was just one of his ways?
“Y--“
“Maya!!!”
Some familiar voice growled, down the passageway. Angry heightened paces, zoomed towards where we stood. Cold hands wrapped around mine, I could feel the electricity swoosh through, messing with my senses.
It was Javier.
“How dare you?!” Javier shrieked at his father. “Who told you, you could make moves on my bride!!!”
Cackles resonated the room that second. I wriggled my eyes, knowing it came from the King himself.
“She’s just someone who woke you up. Why are you getting worked up?” King Vladmir stated.
Javier took my small hands, fitting it with his large ones. There were harsh dark veins underneath his eyes. His pupils dilated into pure black, different from other vampires in a fascinating way.
“Maya.Is.Mine.” he seethed, back. “Her body belongs to me, Vladmir.”
Tension was predominant in the air. I looked around and could see some maids peeking, at this scene. My heart pounded hastily at the fear that these two men might have a fight, because of me. Silently, I thought of what to do…
“Oh son, I wasn’t born yesterday. Give her to me, maybe our bad blood would be settled.” The King fiercely uttered. “You don’t love her, so it’s easy.”
Javier pulled me to his back, stepping even more closer.
“I don’t have to--"
I stepped forward. “Stop it, both of you!”
Their two gazes directed to me, with appalled expressions on their faces. I mean, I was not an object to be bargained on…
With this thought, I walked to Javier’s sides giving him a peck on the lips. The kiss was short, yet, oddly comforting. “What are you…”
He trailed out, unconsciously staring at me. I could see the surprise on King Vladmir’s features, through side view. I raised the hand of my oversized shirt, taking the Dark Prince’s hands in mine.
I pulled him with me, left with no choice than to say three words, which sounded like distaste itself:
“Let’s go, honey.”
…
Javier pinned me to the wall the minute we entered my room. His eyes, darkened in desire trailing his index finger and thumbs to my parted lips.
“I swore to not touch you…you’re making it hard for me, little lamb.” he seductively murmured.
My body surged with a dose of wanting, and I shivered puffing out air. “I did it to save your ass,”
As I sighed those words out, he chuckled devilishly trailing hands to my upper cleavage through the material.
“I’m the Dark Prince. It’s not me who needs the saving, it’s them.”
My eyes flickered, to gaze up at him. Core throbbed from the pressing of his hardened length against me. I could feel my wetness, yet I still thought of why his enemies needed saving?
Just who did I unstake from that box?
“Back to touching you,” he leaned even nearer, whispering in my ear lobe. “Don’t pull a stunt like that again or else I might end up taking you in front of him.”
I cried out when his thumbs grazed the bite spot, which held his mark. Javier used that moment to nibble my earlobes, finding out that I liked it. He let go of my hands, and at it, my heart thudded rapidly than the first time.
I could feel longing… some yearning, for this mesmerizing creature in front of me…
“Javier…I’m losing control.” I gritted out.
“Shock me, little one.”
My hands settled on his broad shoulders. As he swooned kisses on my neckline, it was like some unleashed part of me was activated. My fangs elongated and before I knew it, I sunk my fangs into his neckline.
What was I doing? Who was this monster in me? Tears flickered my eyelids at what I just did. Javier noticed and said,
“Oh yeah, snowflake… Use those baby fangs just like that,” As I was lost in a mist of passion, my palms clenched his lean waist.
I climbed Javier, wrapping my legs around him. His hardened cock pressed against my delicate part. My head was uncertain of the emotions that overtook me just now.
“Atta, Maya… you finally claimed me as yours too.” Javier seethed subtly.

Maya Javier settled me on the bed, as we continued the make out session. My thighs were assembled around him, clinging to him as if my life depended on it. I could feel a certain heat and fire in me. Wasn’t even sure I could control myself, which was a bit unusual. “You’re in heat.” he murmured. I sighed the minute his hands disconnected with my body. Javier rolled away, standing up from the bed. “W-What is heat?” I chewed on my lips, asking him. His eyes scanned me interestingly before he paced to and fro, as if he didn’t know where to begin from. “What is heat?” I asked again, wondering why he was acting strange. “For every vampire, heat turns up when you’re newly bitten. It happens to every female and male and only your companera can quench it. That’s what you’re experiencing now…” “What is companera?” My words were clear, yet, desperate. Javier leaned on the bed post, purposely avoiding any limited space with me. I liked his distance but my skin hated it, my body wanted hi
Javier As I walked away from Maya’s room, someone paced behind me. I pretended not to notice and then when I felt the presence again, my dark reflex was the first to act. The person got pinned on the wall, in a millisecond with my fangs out. As my face connected with my previous lover, Scarlett, my eyes bolted at her. “Scarlett?” I snarled unbelievably. How was she here, alive? Didn’t she die in the rebel? “Still as dangerously wild as always…” she whispered, drawing nearer and nudging her nose with mine. I moved away. “That’s what I like about you, Javier.” I studied her features, which were still intact. Almond brown eyes, brunette hair and a robust figure. I could see her breasts pump from her outfit, which was a raven black long dress with a corset. It looked like she was in the 18th century. “Come with me.” I said, pulling her hands along. I had some questions for her. Judging from her outfit, she had just woken up from a box too. As I slammed my room’s door shut, Scarlett
Maya “My Princess…” My eyes flew open, at that voice. “Wake up, we are here to deliver your clothes and accessories.” I stared at the maid in front of me. From her smell, she was a vampire, however, she directed her face to the ground. It was more like she was afraid of something. “W-what?” “Where is Delilah and Raven?” Since they were the people that led this entire thing, weren’t they supposed to be here at least? “They are helping Queen Zoraida with the banquet arrangements. Please come freshen up and check your clothes.” she stated. “We arranged it already for you, in the closet. The light is also fixed.” At her words, I jumped up excitedly. Hell knows I didn’t come here for this, but what girl didn’t want this? In my purple tank top and lemon SpongeBob shorts, I walked rapidly towards the closet. I heard the maid snap her hands— about 7 other maids rushed in. “Wow,” I said, eyeing the renovated closet. Everything was in a transparent glass, like a fashion design shop wou
Maya I kicked my legs quick, faster, more rapidly. I did it till I was gasping and just when I went out of breath, I collapsed on the floor with a glare at Delilah. “Why did you stop?” I cleaned the sweat off my forehead, with a frown. “Why am I even doing this? I mean, I came here for something entirely different.” “Thought we went over this, Maya.” She drew nearer, bending down with a pat on my back. “Nobody’s your friend here. While you wait, the best form of attack, might be defense.” Her words sounded meaningful. Whenever I remembered how I was compelled to marry Javier, however, it fumed me. “I-um, have to go.” I murmured, standing up and walking out hurriedly, pacing my footsteps. “Maya!” she called after me. “Maya, wait!!” I groaned when her hands brushed my shoulders, the minute I was outside. “What??” She stared at me astonishingly, “You can’t give up, yet. We’ve barely begun anything.” “Why do we have to begin anything? I didn’t fucking ask for this.” I seethed at
Javier She’s not leaving me. Hell damnation, she just isn’t. Even if she wanted to, our bond won’t make her to. It won’t allow any of us to live with it. Not telling her that though… She was going to learn… “Is that everything?” I arched my brow asking her. Delilah went for shopping with Claudia and didn’t even know about my companera leaving. She’d be so disappointed on finding out. “Yeah, I um, returned the stuff you bought except the undies… I guess.” Maya replied. Her face seemed shy from the mention of that, cheeks reddening. It was really cute. “I don’t mind, they’re your stuff now. The princess is entitled to a myriad of luxuries,” “That’s nice, but I’m not that anymore, am I? This union was fake…” she stated, with half a chuckle. “…we should get going, Javier.” “I’m not taking you, snowflake. I’m still in the process of learning how to drive well.” I smirked at her, saying. “Ambroz is.” I helped her lift the little bag, watching her startled expression. “Oh…” she trai
Javier “There’s no way you’re allowing your companera walk that forest alone, is there?” “Nope.” I answered Ambroz immediately. “It’s too dangerous. She wouldn’t have understood if I told her that.” I took some of my stuff from the car. It included a blood bag, my wallet and phone. There was no way I was going to feed my mate to the wolves…. … Maya Coos, clicks… There were croaking sounds of ravens and crows in the sky. It could be creepy for a first timer, but certainly not for me. I’ve been used to this for a long while… Have traveled on foot alone, growing up. “This isn’t a big deal, dammit.” I snorted out, muttering to myself. A gentle breeze blew and so could I hear the rustles as I moved. I couldn’t wait to meet Julian. I had so much to tell him! Of course, apologizing was the first on my list, for not coming back… Goodness knows how he must have been worried. “Breathe in, Maya.” I told myself, with an intent to use my vampiric speed to my advantage. “Out…in, let’s
Maya *Back to reality* … I woke up on shore after surprisingly blacking out. My clothes were tattered and torn, barely hanging on my body. Luckily, my sunlight pendant was still on my neck. Yet, I felt nauseous, my heart ached for something. I let out a cough, gasping out water which definitely entered my system after almost drowning to my death. “Damnation…” I trailed, after I realized I had gone off my path. I didn’t even know where this route led to. It was the other side, of the waterfall. More like the end… My eyes widened at the realization that the wolves might come searching for me on this side. “Fuck!” I hissed, standing up and dusting the sane parts of my clothes that could be dusted. Where was Javier and Ambroz? “Maya…” A voice seeped into my head, from the waters. I looked down, watching it crawl to where I stood. It was slippery, blue and natural looking. “What…do you want from me?” I gasped, holding my throat. It seemed like I was choking. Tears formed in my e
Maya “Get out.” She seethed at Julian who held a resistant look. “D-do I have to?” “I said get out!!” she shrieked angrily, demonstrating with her stick. I watched Julian drop the napkin in his hands, scurrying out like Senora Savannah had asked. At the slam of the door shut, I straightened my back stretching and yawning widely. “You’re still with this stupid rebellious behavior,” She strolled towards me, before stamping her foot in assertiveness. “I should have isolated you since you were a child. You just seem to disrupt everything here, breaking rules, thinking that makes a statement but it doesn’t.” I looked at her, then up at the ceiling, wondering what this old woman was all about. Her face was stern, filled with hate and disgust at me. “We never did get along,” I muttered. “What?!” She moved nearer, raising his stick. “How dare you talk back at me you mannerless—” “Aish…that’s enough!” I replied just as she hit me with her walking stick. On her face was a startled expre
