5. Out Of Control

I was sitting on the sofa just looking at walls that were boring because I have been doing it for half an hour now. After coming home I changed my clothes and from then I have been sitting here. I didn't want to think, still, there was a part of me who was worried about Xavier. I wanted to know where he was but I couldn't. I didn't even have my phone cause I couldn't bring it with me when I was being dragged here.

Eyes about to close, I heard a knock on the door. Ignoring it as Xavier have keys and I didn't feel like talking to someone else, I didn't move from my place. Whoever it was could go away.

But the person started knocking more loudly and wildly as if he has seen some ghost and desperately wanted to come inside. 

With a sigh, I walked toward the door just to see that the annoying Gemma was standing in front of me with a worried look.

He was one of the wolves who came to my home and brought me here. Not only that, he even insulted my home saying how small and unattractive it was. Moreover, he told me that I should be thankful for having their Alpha as my mate. Like what? He was even glaring at me the whole time.

"What is it?" I asked him. "You have to come with me, we have to be fast." He told me and I folded my arms leaning on the doorframe, looking at him.

"Why?" 

"It's because of Xavier, he's been angry the whole day, and I thought it was because of work but I don't think so anymore. He was even about to use his vampire fangs which he said he would never use on a pack member." He said everything at once. "Everyone at packhouse is worried and his parents aren't here to calm him down so you should come with me." He turned around and I moved behind him without a word.

"Follow me." He commanded but  I walked in front of him, not interested in taking orders from him.

"I don't take orders and walk fast, Gemma," he bit his lips, stopping himself from saying anything to me.

Everyone in the packhouse was watching me like I was an alien, maybe I was.....just joking. I ambled towards the Alpha's office where he works, just when I was right in front of the wooden door I heard a loud booming voice. True to Gemma's word Xavier was looking out of control, dangerous.

He kept shouting at the wolves before him. It should have been good for me, it shouldn't have affected me as I didn't care about anyone here but then I saw a child crying, maybe he was a child of one of those men. 

I looked at Gemma who was talking to some other members of the pack.

"What is the reason? Did they make a mistake?" He asked them.

"No, they just went inside to give the file that was supposed to be signed by Alpha." One of them, with short black hair, said.

I sighed, I was crazy maybe but I didn't want Xavier to shout at them nor did I want anyone else to be scolded if they haven't done anything. 

I opened the door, which had a peephole from where I was peeking inside. 

The Alpha glanced at me before ignoring my presence and going back to his paperwork. 

"I would like you all to leave the room," I said to the wolves but they just looked at the Alpha and I did the same.

He nodded on which all of them hurried away. 

"I would like you to do your magic and make the room soundproof." He said something which I didn't understand but with the way he moved his hand I knew he was doing magic.

Just after magic was done I said, "What do you think you were doing, huh!? Why would you keep shouting and making all this drama? What made you lose control, even if you did lose control, why would you hurt your pack members!?" I asked loudly. His eyes snapped towards me.

"Don't you think this all happened because of you?" he fired back angrily.

"Because of me!?" I was confused.

"You were the one who made me angry in the morning and don't tell me you don't remember." 

"Wait, you lost your control over your powers because you were angry about what I told you in the morning, about me working out?" I asked him, truth be told it was a lie because only Sebastian has seen me but not any other guy.

The Alpha blushed but didn't say anything.

I didn't know what to say but I felt like clearing the misunderstanding.

"I have never worn small clothes in front of many guys. I mean other than Sebastian, no one has seen me like that." I told him and was about to go out when I remembered something.

"From now on, don't shout or hurt someone not because you lost your control. I don't care about you or anyone of them. But you are their Alpha, you must protect and look after them." Walking out of the room I planned to go back to the house, as people's irritating eyes were making me angry. I didn't want to be in here for long. The moon was in place of the sun now and the stars decorated the dark sky.

"Hey! wait." I turned around to find Gemma running toward me.

"Thanks for what you did there, but what did you do?" he asked.

"I did magic by which he won't shout anymore," I replied.

"You are not a witch." He stated.

"Who said that?" I pulled my lips together so I couldn't smile.

"Xavier said that." It was like he was doubting about me being a wolf.

"I should make you a child again than you would believe me," I acted like I was thinking about it. Though it wasn't a bad idea as he wouldn't annoy me, I didn't know the spell.

"I don't think so, I don't want to roam around in underwear again," he said the last part to himself but I heard it anyway. 

I laughed because he was having a horrible facial expression just by thinking about being a small child again.

"I was joking, Mr. your-house-is-not-good." 

"My name is Oliver," he told me.

"Mr. your-house-is-not-good name is much better," I said to him which made him smirk.

"Did you take my words to heart?" he asked me and I glared at him.

"No, I didn't even hear them as I don't like listening to unnecessary things." I started walking in the direction where I was going before but he stopped me.

"My dear luna, the house is this way," he pointed to the other direction. "You are going the wrong way." I looked at him who was having a smug smile.

This guy!

"I'm not your luna, and I wasn't going to the house but now I'm," I told him and walked towards the house with Gemma following me. Of course, we bickered back and forth until we reached the destination.
