10. We Have A Problem

I pushed still-annoying gemma down from the couch. 

"Ow, that hurts." He stood up and sat beside me.

"You were the one who started this, why do you have to talk like this?" I said. After Chloe and Penelope left I thought he would leave too but no he didn't and later Mia and Sebastian also joined us. We all were surrounded by a lot of food, Oliver thought that we could have a movie time and that was why he turned the wall which held nothing, guess what? There was a TV behind that wall. Why would Xavier keep a TV hidden? Anyway so now all four of us were watching a movie and Oliver kept saying annoying or lame things. Like he just said that I looked like a girl who had big glasses and had some teeth missing with her hair like a nest of a bird. My hairs were bad but not that bad, right?

'Of course, You are part of me. You can't be that bad.' My wolf said and I blocked her this time.

"Oh, shit I forgot I had to meet Elena," I remembered. After the movie was finished I fastly ran into the room and took out a pink sweatshirt with a black cap and black pants. Xavier had asked some wolves to bring clothes for me as I didn't have any and would always wear Xavier's hoodies and shirt which were too big for me. So once half-empty closet was now filled with my clothes. 

I went downstairs only to find once smiling Oliver with a worried face while his eyes were misty. He wasn't even blinking which meant he was mind linking someone.

"What happened?" I asked as all four of us were standing near the exit door.

"We have a problem. Some wolves were attacking our pack since last year but they were in small groups and were easy to deal with. Now they have attacked again and this time they are in a very big number. I have to be there, all three of you stay in the house." He ordered us.

"You're joking, right? We can help in fighting." Mia said as she never really liked sitting uselessly.

"No! Xavier said that all three of you should stay at the house and women don't fight in our pack." He said as he opened the door. I rolled my eyes it was not like I was gonna listen to him.

Xavier Pov

A wolf on pack border mind linked me saying that a group of wolves has attacked us, I was expecting it and that's why I have tightened the security. Also worked hard for guards training but I didn't know that the wolves would be in this much big number. 

As I walked near the border I saw more than a hundred wolves, but there was a strange thing.....they didn't have a scent. A unique scent of every wolf, but none of the rogues had that.

A witch or witches were with them.

My clothes were on the floor, torn apart as my bones cracked and turned. I could feel my wolf's happiness as he wanted to come out for a long but I didn't get time for a run. I let my wolf take over and with a howl, I ran and ripped one wolf's head while the other wolf tried to attack me from the back.

I pushed my claws deep inside his stomach and pushed my hand toward the right, making him growl in pain as his blood started flowing. I sank my fangs in his neck, they were wolves canines but filled with vampire poison as I have this specialty that I could use my vampire and witch power even in my wolf form if I wanted.

The strange thing was that even after killing so many wolves they weren't finished, it was like every wolf we killed was replaced with another wolf appearing in his place. 

My wolf sniffed something.....it was.....our mate's scent. What the hell was she doing here? I looked around but I couldn't see her, suddenly I saw a wolf different from others just like me, yet different from me. She was of white, pure white color as her golden eyes shone brightly and I knew she was my mate but why her wolf was so different?

I tried to go near her but I felt something sharp pierce through my thigh. An unbearable pain stirred in my whole body as I howled loudly. I was losing my vision, I couldn't see anything.... darkness.....nothing...there was nothing that I could feel or see.

Stella Pov

I looked at the scene in front of me. Blood and lots of wolves.

'Shouldn't I be happy looking at the people of this pack getting hurt?'

But I was not, maybe Mia was right I shouldn't blame all of them for what happened as it was said 'You can't blame the whole village for one bad person, if a dog had done something bad would you punish goat?' Who hurt me maybe I would just make them suffer.

I felt warm as I changed into my wolf form, my smooth skin changed into a white silky furry one. I felt something was odd...wait...they didn't have a scent. The wolf who we were fighting against didn't have a scent which meant they have witches with them because one witch could not make smell poison, by which they can be scentless, for all of them.

Another problem, it seemed like they wouldn't die. It was like kill one, two more would come in his place. I heard a loud.....loudest howl and when I looked in its direction my heart stopped beating for a second, Xavier's wolf was laying on the ground, his eyes were on me. But they were slowly closing, I ran toward him with as much speed as I could. When I reached him his eyes were fully closed and he was breathing slowly.....too slowly. 

I changed into my human form and because of the spell, I was fully clothed. I tried to wake him up but he wasn't opening his eyes. Just like everything he slowly changed into his wolf form and Sebastian out of nowhere took my mate's body fastly behind a tree and helped him in wearing shorts behind the tree.

All three of us were standing in front of the unconscious Xavier. I took out the piece of wood, which I think was an arrow, from his thigh. But it was broken and the front of this arrow was still in his thigh.

"This isn't good, it's venenobiṣai ( don't think too much about it, I made up this name.) It's a mixture of wolf's bane, magic that will make every part of the body hurt, and vampire poison. The poison will make l vampire's power of healing slow or near to nothing." I said with a worried look. Why couldn't I remember how we could save a person who has this poison in his body?

"This can only be done by a powerful witch," Mia said. "Indeed," I replied still working my brain.

"Take him to the pack hospital, Sebastian. I'm sure they can help him for now. We both will finish the things here." I stood up and Sebastian did as I told him without wasting a second. 

I nodded to Mia and by her one clap every wolf of my- I mean Blue Moon pack disappeared leaving the other wolves confused.

She gave me her right hand and with a shook of my head in yes, I kept my hands on her's.

'Let's just finish it for once and for all.'

Bam!

Every wolf was converted into ashes and the four witches hidden behind trees wearing cloaks were burning in front of us.

I looked at Mia who gave me a small smile. Just like me, she was exhausted too as this magic took a lot of strength and power. I didn't know if this was the end or just the start of a very dangerous and horrible game, but I knew one thing if I was with my friends, Mia, Sebastian, Elena in some way, and yeah the annoying gemma too, not to forget my mate then I think we could win this game. It was 'we' which meant all of us and I promised we would get through this. I would make my enemy suffer.
