Lure

Riley watched him, with her eyes hard.

"Let's lure him to us then," she said.

Carter frowned.

"How? Why will he come to us when he knows that I am searching for him to kill him? Even if he comes here, he will hide in plain sight just like he did now" he pointed out.

Reed kissed his cheek softly. She knows he is not going to like what she has in mind. But they have to try something. They cannot let David roam freely inside the pack and risk him hurting the other pack members.

"David hates you, Nathan, Sophie, and me. He already tried hurting Sophie and Nathan. He would want to deal with you in the last. So that leaves me. I am his next target. He will come after me next" she explained.

Carter swiftly turned to face her and wrapped her in his arms protectively.

"He has to cross me to get to you" he declared fiercely.

Riley smiled with love.

"I know Carter. I know you will always protect me with your life. I am sure David knows that too. But that will not stop him from trying to hurt me
