The look on her face told me that that was the last thing she expected to hear from me.

I mean, I didn't mean to blurt it out like that or did I? Perhaps but that's not the point here.

After her eyes relaxed, Mia looked away prompting me to walk to her ànd take her pretty hands in my rough ones.
