Long time, no see

Afternoon light filters through the trees as I feel Valeria’s hand tighten around mine, her excitement spilling over into my veins like a flood.

I wonder what she's up to with all the mystery.

She’s dragging me through the city streets, and I can't help but laugh at her enthusiasm.

“ Valeria, where exactly are yóu taking me? You've been dragging me for God knows how long." I chuckle.

“Mia, trust me, you’ll love this. Just a little further,” she says, her eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief.

“I’m trusting you, but where are we going?” I ask, though my feet continue to follow without hesitation.

Valeria doesn’t answer, just flashes me a grin. As we turn the corner, the park comes into view, and I stop dead in my tracks. My breath catches in my throat, and for a moment, my heart beats with pure, unfiltered joy. There it is,the ferris wheel, towering against the sky, its colorful lights beckoning.
