Chapter 56.

Ivy

I scream and yell at Caden to let me go but everything seems to fall on deaf ears. I hear the shopping bags hot the back seat with rippling sounds as I try to adjust myself to make a run for it.

But as soon as I get a hold of the door I'm immediately met with utter disappointment as they're sealed shut.

“Ivy!” I hear Elias call after me and my head shoots up to find him limping through the mall entrance with a small patch of blood running down his head.

“Elias” I called out in panic.

But that's when the car starts and immediately swerves away.

“No!!” I scream hitting the glass “Turn back, he's hurt”

I turn over to Caden who's driving nonchalantly and I try to take the wheel from him.

“I said…turn…around” I struggle in between grunts. But his grip is too strong and he easily subdues my hands with one of his.

That's when I resort to kicking and then and only then does he pull over but now the only problem is that I can't run.
