Alpha Waylen's POV

I stood quietly in the shadows of the dense forest, watching the scene unfold before me with a mixture of shock and disbelief.

My mouth hung open as I observed Alpha Kayden pull Amelia into his embrace and press his lips against hers. Part of me wanted to rush out and tear them apart, to show Kayden that he could not simply waltz back into Amelia's life and reclaim what was mine. But I knew I had to remain calm and collected – after all, I was an Alpha, and I needed to act as one.

I ran my fingers through my hair, letting out a heavy sigh. "So this is what I get, Amelia?" I whispered softly, my voice echoing silently with a hint of bitterness and disappointment.

I watched as Kayden pulled away, his eyes searching Amelia's face intently. She seemed stunned, her own eyes wide and her lips slightly parted. Then, she uttered the words that made my heart sink.
