Chapter 53 WE WONT LET YOU

SUZIE'S POV

My eyes cracked open as the sound of chirping birds roused me from my sleep. I blinked away the blurriness in my eyes, and kept my gaze fixed on the ceiling. My mind was still a bit hazy as I tried to fully get myself awake.

My eyes trailed to the window, and I watched as sunlight filter into the room, through the silk curtains. Memories of yesterday began to cloud my mind and I grimaced instantly.

Elliot's words and everything he had told me rang in my head. Everything he said felt like a dream, but now that I was awake, it felt all too real. I sighed, sitting up on the bed and flinging my legs down from it.

I looked at the wall clock and observed that it was a little past 8am. The argument I had engaged in with the quadruplets popped up in my head at that moment. I began to feel irritated and unwilling to leave my room, to avoid seeing them, but I knew that wasn't possible.

As I rose up from the bed, I heard my phone beep, and I immediately picked it up from the bedside
