"Juliet?" I heard the exhausted voice of Talia through the concrete wall that was leaning my head on. I didn't feel like answering her. I kept replaying the entire scene in my head, running in the grass, pushing branches out of my face, smelling my pack. I was so close I could've sworn I smelt one of my mates. "Juliet, are you awake?"

"Yes, Talia, what is it?"

"Is this what you've been going through?" she asked. I wanted to scream. Of course, this is what I've been going through. Poking, prodding, gassing, you name it. I told her when she got locked up in here with me that I didn't run off to be with anyone else. My father, in all his infinite wisdom, sold me here, to La Chambre Blanche. Why would I ever run away from my mates when that's all I've ever wanted?

"Yes," I stated lazily as I rolled my eyes.

"How? How did you get out?" she questioned. I could hear the hopefulness in her voice, which led me to believe she was planning or was wanting to plan another escape.

"Well, the fi

"Oh," Talia moaned as she gripped her forehead and staggered to her feet. "Juliet, help me to the bathroom. I think I'm going to puke.""No, one of the Nelson brothers will help you!" Irma urged as she raised her arm to point at the lazy brothers who leaned against each other sitting in the corner of the lab. They were disgusting men, fat, lazy, rude, and smelly. Why Irma felt the need to keep them around was beyond me, but I wasn't about to ask her that. "Why? So they could try something with me again?" Talia clapped back as she shot them both a glare. They quickly stood up and placed their hands over their privates. I smirked, knowing Talia probably kicked them both, even though she was weak. A week had passed since I made my escape, and Talia had been bugging me daily to try again for us both. As much as I detested Talia Banks for being the typical mean girl throughout high school and now college. I couldn't in good conscience leave her to rot here, no matter how many times that i

  • Mated Twice To Twins   Freak

“Out of my way, freak!” Demanded Talia Banks as she bumped into me pushing the books from my hand and onto the floor. She laughed walking away, meeting up with her two best friends, Morgan Wills and Courtney Fletcher. Talia and her posse were the popular girls, granted this was a college, and no longer high school. Popularity seemed to follow these girls wherever they went. I bent down to get the old second-hand books and notebooks when the girls circled back around to kick them further down the hallway. As I scooped up my things, I looked up to see Oliver and Oscar the McKinney twins, and their cousins Seth and Shane McKinney, who were identical twins, just like Oscar and Oliver. Oliver and Talia had started dating three weeks prior along with Oscar and Morgan. Seth had gotten with Courtney while she made her cousin Brittany Fletcher switch schools to be with Shane. They all watched me as I dusted my knees off and walked to my locker, where my only best friend Olivia was waiting for m

  • Mated Twice To Twins   I What?

“Oh God, Juliet! What happened here?” Bellowed yet another voice. I must have passed out because I didn’t remember anything afterward. I woke up in my bed though, my father was looming over me. His pale skin and obsidian eyes would frighten anyone but to wake up to it was something different. My father was the pack physician and was never around, since my mother passed giving birth to me and my twin sister, Jemma. She died in the womb and my father said I absorbed all her nutrition and such. I don’t think he ever came to terms with losing his mate and daughter. “Your vitals look good pup,” My father, Charles, said as he backed his face away from mine. “I spoke to Alpha Chris, he is looking into the matter, Pup. Get some rest.” The next day was of course my birthday, and it was no surprise Liv showed up with balloons, chocolate, a teddy bear, and the newest movie for us to watch at night. It had become a tradition for us, but to my surprise, she wasn’t alone. Behind her w

  • Mated Twice To Twins   You Are It

As I made my way down the stairs, Liv was behind me, and I was quickly rushed by the younger set of twins as they helped me down and onto the sofa. They all sat on the large floral couch smelling the air and trying to get closer to me. Chris snapped his fingers and they calmed down adjusting their clothes. “Juliet it seems you are fated to my nephews, all of them.” He paused rubbing his chin and scraping the red whiskers. “Charles, do you have any idea why that is?” He looked up from the twins and found my father sitting on the bar stool at our kitchen island. “Yes, when Juliet was born she had a fraternal twin named Jemma, she died in vitro, and Juliet absorbed everything from her in order to survive, I couldn’t operate. It was too risky for both of them and Katherine.” He slumped down taking a drink of the rum and coke he had every evening. “So, what you’re saying is both your girls would’ve been fated to my nephews but because one pa

“Baby girl, come and we’ll give you a ride,” Shane spoke close to my ear as he headed to his black XL Escalade. I often forget just how wealthy the McKinneys are. “Brat, here, come sit while we drive you,” Oliver called out as he opened the door to his white XL Escalade. Seth was already in the driver’s seat and so was Oscar, both hoping I’d go with the other. This was going to get difficult fast, I thought to myself as I felt an arm lock in with mine. Liv started to drag me off to her jeep, and I gladly followed, I knew I could always count on her. “Sorry Romeos this Juliet is getting a ride from her bestie, we’ll see you guys later.” Olivia giggled as she hopped into the driver’s seat and sped off without a second look. “So, I know we didn’t get to have our annual get-together yesterday so how about we do it tonight?” “Yes, I’d love that!” I exclaimed as we pulled into my driveway, as if on cue the guys pulled in behind us. I stepped out and am qu

  • Mated Twice To Twins   What's Happening?

“Pup, we need to talk!” My father startled me as I walked through the front door. I grabbed my chest and fell back into the door. “Sit, I’ll get you a drink,” I watched as he made his way to the fridge and liquor cabinet. He poured me coke and vodka as I sat on the tan lazy boy across from him. “Pup, this is a strange phenomenon that has occurred with you.” I nodded my head and took a sip. “Nothing like this has happened before, and people will be curious.” He sat back in his chair and laid one leg over the other. “So, I have taken an offer,” He watched me as I took another sip furling one eyebrow up at him. Suddenly, the back door flung open, and two very large bald men come bargaining in. I got up but felt dizzy so I slipped back down into my chair. I felt the same pang in my chest and I hoped that my mates would feel it too. Before I can protest I was taken away and managed to watch one of the men pay my father before I passed out. When I woke I realized I was in a strange white roo

  • Mated Twice To Twins   The White Room

"Claude!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Claude!" I don't know how long I've been here or how long I had been asleep, I still was unsure where exactly I was. All I knew was that Claude called this place the white room, I haven't heard that name in a very long time. My grandfather used to tell me stories about a place they called the white room, people would take werewolves and run experiments on them, but none were seen again. And if this is where I am, that the stories from my grandfather are true then I'm in trouble. "Claude Theriot!" "I hear you cher, I was coming!" Claude announced as he opened the metal door holding a tray full of food. "I know you must be hungry yeah, don't you worry your pretty little head I got everything you want. I fixed you up right, grits, sausage, biscuits, honey, and milk," He smiled brightly as I saw two missing teeth and an unkempt beard. He put the tray on the floor near my feet as there wasn't much in the room except a bare mattress on the floor

  • Mated Twice To Twins   A Visit

"Hello..." Came a voice from my dreams. "Hello..." I struggled to open my eyes as the voice was starting to annoy me. "Hello, hey... get up..." A strike to my lower abdomen had me doubled over in pain and I soon realized the voice hadn't come from my dreams but was here in the white room with me. "About time you woke up!" The large man grumbled as I blinked several times trying to adjust my eyes. "You didn't have to kick her, I told you that you put too much of that in the vent. Ms. Irma told us to only to put in a spoonful to keep her drowsy." The short bald man spoke up as he moved toward the door to look out of the peephole. "You going soft on me, Glenn?" Gordon asked as he grabbed the folding chair he brought in. "No, brother but she is very pretty I'd hate for you to bruise that porcelain skin." Glenn laughed as he unfolded the chair and sat backward. "Hey Pretty, my name is Glenn Nelson and this is my brother, Gordon, we are as I'm sure you're aware of Ms. Irma Logue, we are h

  • Mated Twice To Twins   In It Now

I woke up to the sound of the large door being opened. I struggle to open my eyes to the shadowy figure standing above me. It had been two days since I ate or drank anything as punishment. I was told the night I came back in. Remembering the sweet smell of outside and the freedom of the grass between my toes as I tried to conjure the memory that seemed so distant now. I squinted at the youngest Logue, or should I say, Snow, member with a tray of food in her hands and a look of disappointment and disgust plastered on her face. "Here, my Aunt Irma thought it was time for you to eat," she thrust the silver platter in my direction as I struggled to sit up. As a werewolf, we have to consume more than humans. More calorie intake, more protein, more fiber, everything, and to go without any food for two days was hard, really hard. "Eggs over easy, bacon, grits, sausage biscuits, and toast." "That won't be enough." I gurgled out as I took the plate and placed it by my feet. "You're so selfis

  • Mated Twice To Twins   No Chance

"She's over here!" Talia screamed out as she grabbed my shoulders. Why? Why is she doing this to me? "I've got her!" "Talia, no!" I pleaded, but the look in her cold eyes was all but helpful or forgiving. "Stop, please, Talia let me go," I struggled to break free, I had almost no strength from running. I couldn't transform even if I wanted to, I had nothing to give. I raised my leg and kicked Talia as hard as I could in her shin. She bellowed as her hands fell to grab her leg and I heard my captors getting closer. I pushed past her as I stumbled falling to the ground a few feet ahead. I was past the line, I was in my territory again, and I was so close to my mates. "Juliet!" I swear I could hear my name being called. My eyes were heavy, my legs were aching, and my head was in complete pain. My face was in the grass and dirt, and the pie's aroma still lingered in my nostrils. I struggled to get up, I tried to crawl but was stopped by a foot on my back. "Jules!" There it was again, I c

  • Mated Twice To Twins   Run

Suddenly, a whistle blew and I couldn't think it was like my legs were stuck. I urged my body to move, but the feel of grass, the smell of the air, the sound of a smelling babbling stream... A stream... the only stream I know of is in Belle's Looking Glass. Two towns over from my home. How could I only be two towns away? How could La Chambre Blanche be but two towns over and no one knows? Or maybe people do know. Perhaps the people of Belle's Looking Glass know precisely what's happening, but everyone stays quiet. Is that why the town has everything? Literally everything. People in other towns have to travel for hours just to get to a specialist, daycare services, or even a department store. I have to go; I have to move. I need to let everyone know what's really going on. Finally, I mustered enough courage to run, and so I did. I tried to change; I tried to transform, but I was too weak. Too weak to fully make myself into werewolf form, but not too weak to harness some of it into runni

  • Mated Twice To Twins   Shame

"Ahh, you're finally awake!" Irma began walking back and forth around my room. "You have been out for about a day," "Ugh, my head," I struggled to sit up on my mattress as I grasped my aching dome. "Yes, I'm sure it does hurt. You went down like a sack of potatoes when Glenn threw his bolas," Irma chuckled as she waited for Gordon to bring in a chair. "He threw what?" I struggled to look up at Irma and the brothers. "Bolas consist of a few hard balls attached to a string. It's an ancient weapon..." Glenn started but was quickly cut off by Irma waving her hand. "Regardless, you were trying to escape, something I told you not to do." Irma taunted as she motioned her face close to mine. "So, now I have to take extreme measures for your well-being," She rose from the chair and walked out of the door before sticking her head back in. "Ciao," How could this be, I was so close, I know I was. I could smell the air from outside, I could feel that I was right there. What does she mean by ex

  • Mated Twice To Twins   Locked Up

"Good morning, Ms. Geautreaux. I have your breakfast." Spoke up the young girl who had replaced Claude. The one friendly face that might have gotten me out of here. "I know I'm not as good as a cook as the late Mr. Theriot but I did follow his recipe book," She forced a smile as she placed the tray of food on the floor. "I made pancakes, eggs, sausage patties, and biscuits. Eat up, Ms. Logue wants you back in the lab today." I smiled at the girl and thanked her, wondering if she had been captured and made to work here. Maybe if I show her kindness, then she could help me. I couldn't help but wonder how my mates were doing. How my best friend must be going crazy looking for me. I don't want to die like this. "Where are you from?" Maybe I can get her on my side. She scrunched up her eyebrows and tilted her head back. Yes, a question out of nowhere, but I will try anything. "Claude used to sit in here and talk with me. He said it would keep me from being lonely." "I'm from Oklahoma." Sh

  • Mated Twice To Twins   I Forgot

I knew it must have been at least four days since I arrived here. I missed my best friend's birthday and, according to the twins, I have a little over a week left to get marked or I'll hurt even worse. Every day I wake up, my chest pains, my head aches, and my anxiety makes me feel like I'm dying. If what Claude said was true, then perhaps he could get something to my mates. Maybe he'll tell them where I am and my entire pack will come for me and shut down this retched place. This wasn't supposed to happen. I was meant to be marked and start my life with the one destined to be mine. As luck would have it, I got four. I could never have envisioned this for myself, ever. To have them all want me, from never being shown love to being overwhelmed by it was amazing. My father, after my twin and mother died, was never around. He never showed me, love. He was usually gone before I got up for school and didn't come back until after I went to sleep. My grandfather Toussaint, my mother's father,

  • Mated Twice To Twins   The Boss

"Hello, little one," I struggled to open my eyes as the words fell on my ears like I was in a dream. Remembering where I was my eyes shot open to a vision of a woman standing over me. "Finally, you're awake, I've been calling out to you for a few minutes now," Her soft voice was calming, and I sat up thinking this might be another good person like Claude. "It's rude to not address a person who says their salutation,""Hello," I replied wiping my eyes. How I wish I was back home, in my bed, surrounded by my mates. I was just starting to accept my life, the way things were supposed to be and it made me so angry that my father sold me to this... this Irma Logue whoever she is. A person who buys another to do experiments on, and takes people from their families, why? "Good, glad to know you have some manners, little one. Now, I believe an introduction is in order, My name is Irma Diane Logue, and La Chambre Blanche was left to me by my father, Malvin Caleb Logue. He began his studies on
