Rohan's POV

I watched Diana from across the room, her eyes flashing with a mix of frustration and confusion. She was acting weird, and I couldn't pinpoint why. We'd been together for a while now, but somehow, it felt like we were drifting apart.

My mind wandered to Valerie, the one person I couldn't shake off. I loved her, always had. But life had taken us down different paths. I'd rejected her, rejected my responsibilities, and now...now I had Diana.

If Diana knew, she'd think it was because she couldn't have children. That it was somehow her fault. But that wasn't it. I loved her for who she was, just as she was.

He looked up from the documents scattered across his desk, concern etched on his face."Diana, what's wrong?" he asked, his deep voice soothing."Rachel," I spat, my voice venomous. "She's pregnant."Rohan's expression changed, his eyebrows furrowing. He wasn't pleased, but his calm demeanor only fueled my frustration."How did this happen?" he asked, his tone measured."I don't know," I snapped. "And I don't care.
