CHAPTER 6

Valerie's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, groggily taking in my surroundings. I was in a room I didn't recognize, with walls adorned with strange symbols and a large window that let in a flood of sunlight. My head pounded as I tried to remember how I got there. And then, like a tidal wave, memories came crashing back.

My children, my precious babies, kidnapped. The pain and fear I felt was suffocating. I tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washed over me, forcing me back onto the bed.

As I lay there, fragments of my past began to resurface. Rohan, the man I once loved with all my heart. The man who told me to get rid of our unborn child, like it was nothing more than a disposable thing. The man who now held the power to help me find my stolen children.
