Layla's POV

I got to the pack house and as I was closing the front door,I felt a presence behind me. I turned only to be met by a delicious coffee aroma belonging to a handsome young man. He seemed to be battling within himself concerning something whilst all I could think of was his beautiful brown eyes. My wolf didn't say anything but I could tell he was my mate.

"I, Alpha prince Kayden Gordon reject you," he then paused waiting for me to give him my name. The sentence wiped the stupid smile on face off and all I could do was give him my name,"Layla ruiz as my mate and Luna."

With a trembling voice and teary eyes I accepted the rejection trying not to fall. It was like my body was getting torn. The pain was excruciating but I held myself together trying my best not to show weakness."I Layla Ruiz accept your rejection as my mate." I then ran to my room my entire body trembling. I lay on my bed crying. My mate was my last hope and I just lost him. I cried for hours untill I no longer had the strength to keep crying.

"I am Kiera, hi." It was the first time I heard my wolf's voice and it was like a silent melody that calmed my nerves. In a weak voice I answered her."Hi, I'm Layla."

"I know your name." she said with a kind smile. I had long forgotten I was crying but I could still feel the pain. "I know we have a second chance mate, I can feel it." she said smiling trying to make me feel better and that made me smile. I finally had someone who cared.

"Why are you silver?" I suddenly blurted out.

" Well I'm a descendant of the moon goddess and so are you. Which makes me a crystal wolf." I was really struggling to form a sentence at this point but she was so calm.

"How?" I asked after a while.

"Well the moon goddess mated your mother to her brother, but after they had you they had to go back to avoid starting a war. If anyone knew you were born then they'll try to kill you to avoid having a ruler. On the day they left they suppressed our strength making your aura that of an omega. Our strength is so great that we can get the strongest alphas to submit."

" How do you know all this?" I asked her.

" I was present when you were born. I know it never happens but you were strong enough to have me by then. The earliest werewolves can receive their wolves depends on their strength, and very few are able to receive early. The earliest recorded is fifteen years old and it was Alpha prince Ryan Reign of the Canine Pack. His pack is the strongest but he never found his mate. Our parents knew I could hear them and understand them, so they explained before they bound me and our strength, and the rest you've been reading about and I had no choice but to follow along. The only way we can fully unbind our strength is if we find our second chance mate and hope he accepts us." I was about to keep asking questions but there was a knock on my door.

I walked to the door and opened it. Karen was standing by the door ready to knock again.

" Lucy's party was cancelled and the Alpha prince crowning ceremony was pushed to tomorrow instead of the day after. We need to change the decorations before the other alphas arrive." she said in one breath scribbling things on her notebook.

"I thought the crowning ceremony can't happen until prince Kayden finds his mate or chooses a mate. " I said on the verge of tears. Picturing him with someone else hurt so bad even if I didn't know him.

" The prince chose Lucy as his chosen mate, her Luna ceremony will be tomorrow with the crowning ceremony. " she said still busy on her notebook.

" Okay, let me change then I'll join you in the ball room. " I said in a tiny voice. I closed the door and closed my eyes forcing my self to breathe for a while before changing and heading to the ball room. As I entered the ball room I could immediately scent him, I was so distracted that I did not notice I was heading towards him until I was Infront of him.

He stretched his hand to caress my chick only to stop himself by closing it into a fist and asking me to follow him. Everyone was staring at us as we left, except for Lucy who was glaring at me with so much anger that I could practically feel her eyes drill holes on my body. Yay! I found me a new enemy.

I followed him silently until we got to his room. I was so pissed that he still had an effect on me even after rejecting me. Kiera was beyond angry with me, she just kept trying to steer me in the opposite direction, but with her strength bound I was way stronger than her without even trying. I didn't even have to put up a fight.

When we got to his room he shut the door and pressed my body against it with his.

"Stop messing with my head omega, you hear me?" he said with a low growl emanating from his chest, his lips close to my ears and all it did was make me wet. He lowered his head to my neck sniffing it sending a shiver down my spine. I knew he could already smell my arousal but I didn't care as long as he was close to me. He sniffed the air and growled shoving his bulge on my stomach. I let out a soft moan resting my hands on his chest. My body was on fire and it felt so good. We were in our own little bubble. He moved his hand to my breast and fondled it gently and I could see his eyes turning black. He was giving in to his carnal desires. "Beautiful." he whispered his eyes on my breast in his hand as he started rubbing his dick against my stomach. He then took my hand, and placed it on his bulge as he stared straight into my eyes, his other hand never living my breast as he played with my nipples. He then gently applied pressure on my hand causing me to gently squeeze his dick over his trousers and I felt it twitch. I gasped as he applied more pressure on my nipple causing me to involuntarily squeeze his dick again. He shoved it in my hand and then we heard a knock on the door. It was one of the guards.

"Alpha Ryan has arrived, he is at the border waiting to be allowed in your highness." the guard said and you could hear the uneasiness in his tone.

"You could have told me that without coming here." Alpha Kayden told the guard with an angry growl.

"I'm sorry your highness but your mindlink is closed." the guard replied keeping up a calm facade.

"Allow him in,I'll be at the door to welcome him. " he was quiet for a minute or two before shouting again," now GO AWAY!"

"Not you." he held me by the neck as I tried to flee.

"You are going to find a way to stay away from me, I don't care how but you will." I was slowly loosing the ability to breathe but I could not move.

"Answer me if you know what's best for you." he growled in my ear.

I pointed at his hands and he released the pressure a bit. "I can't stay away because I have to work at your crowning ceremony." I said while coughing.

"Then I'll give you a reason." he said and the next minute he was kicking and hitting me. I was used to it but the fact that it was my mate was tearing my heart into pieces. I lay on the floor just letting him hit me, I didn't move and I didn't cry.
